This is the worst place of all time. Avoid this place at all cost. I would highly recommend going to another location for any of your healthcare needs. These people do not care anything about any of their patients whatsoever.

Wow! That was interesting… First I overhead them realizing that they forgot I was in the room, «Oh shit, he’s still in there!» They tried to get me out the door without doing a vision screening which was one of my main concerns. After doing the screening the tech told me I could leave. This was after I peed in a cup, had blood drawn, and the vision screening all with no follow up conversation. I asked what was the next step for me and she said I needed to schedule a physical but still did not address anything that I was in the office for in the first place. I had to ask about my vision test and she said I might want to get them checked. I asked if I should I be worried that this vision loss has happened so suddenly and she looked at the doctor who was nodding her head. I guess it’s good I asked. I then asked about my lab results and she said that my urine came back ok (this was happening around a group of other people) but my blood would be back later. It was unprofessional, disorganized, and did nothing to make me feel like my health was in good hands. Be careful going here!

Long wait for drug screen. Should not have to wait over an hour when you need to use the restroom. Staff unprofessional talking and joking with friends/​family that walk in to see them. If it wasn’t required I would not come here. Also one of the staff I am assuming a MA or Nurse informed me that drinking water will dilute my urine and I would probably have to come back and repeat! I have never ever in my nursing life ever heard of this so hey all you drug users apparently plain old water is the cure all for passing drug screens, also I had to wash hands after test and she was standing there, I said excuse me and she didn’t move, Really… really lady… Get A Life and some Professionalism to go with it. Terrible encounter.

The wait here is horrible. If you have another option I would definitely try it.
I came in to get a simple immunization and with only two other people in the waiting room ended up waiting 45 minutes before leaving. I guess the best thing about my visit was listening to the stories of all the employes at the front desk while no work was getting done.
Thanks Wilmington Health but next time I’ll go somewhere else.

You can only get seen for one medical problem at each appointment.
The second question out of Hawleys mouth was «Do you have insurance?»
I am looking for a great doctor that takes Tricare and don’t make you feel like you’re wasting their time and will care for more than one ailment. Any recommendations?

I have been here several times. I try to make an appointment because especially during the busy seasons, the wait time can be a little long. I have seen several providers there all have been great. I try to see Ms. Hawley. She has been an excellent provider and has addressed every concern I have presented. I don’t think it is fair to have one bad experience somewhere and then review them with one star. They have been very helpful to me and I will continue to go there during my time in Jacksonville.

Slowest doctors office ever, I came there to get a drug test done and waited a good 45mins. They were rude on the phone and rude in person. I called before hand to ask if I needed an appointment for a drug test, and they told me no. If I have known that it was going to take forever for me to pee in a cup that took literally less then five mins, I would have made an appointment and came in two mins before I was to be seen. Oh, and the people in the receptionist area seem to have no clue how to properly enter in an «e-​screen passport».
Besides the customer service department really lacking here, the interior of the «Doctor’s Office» was ugly in my opinion. For instance, the bathroom that they have you go in to take a urine sample has no sink in it, and there was signs and tape everywhere in the bathroom saying not to flush the toilet and to not put the urine sample in the little cubicle that connects the bathroom to the lab. If it weren’t for Onslow county requiring that I get my test done here I would never visit this place again.

The clinic was okay, they have available routine/​follow up appointments within a week. The physician took care of my immediate health care needs.
