This was my first time coming here. It’s def a dive bar but I am ok with that. I prefer bars that are less crowded where I can really hang out with the people I came there with. First off, I ordered a Vodka Tonic with extra likes and it was so good! At first we just hung out at one of the tables talking and then we decided to play some darts. We played three rounds, with each of us winning one. It want until the last round that someone asked if we were almost done because they wanted to play. They have a jukebox so there def was an interesting variety of music playing but again, not something I really mind. It is pretty smokey but just another thing that I’ve grown to get used to. I would certainly come back here to hang out again.

Local favorite. Awesome employees. Crazy people. Great prices. Smoking bar. Dart boards. Jukebox music.

I am so upset! The service was so horrible at this place. Today is my birthday and they wouldn’t even approach me to ask me what I wanted to drink. I am not drunk, I simply wanted a bud heavy. I can’t believe they discriminate like this!!!

This is a true dive bar. I’m so jealous that the south allows you to smoke in the bars. I came to Jacksonville from NY for a few days and went to a few places on Park St, this place being one of them. If you don’t mind the smoke, because there’s a lot, this is a chill place. Played a few games of darts, some tunes on the jukebox, and had a good time. Drinks were pretty cheep too.

Wall Street is a really interesting place. The suburb I grew up in near Orlando is filled with bars like Wall Street, so it is fine by me. What stands out to me about Wall Street is how different it is compared to the rest of 5 Points, sans maybe Birdies. The other bars like Alewife and Cask, hell even the restaurants with bars like Hawkers and Derby all have that urban chic feeling that seems to be in these days. If you are only comfortable in an atmosphere like that, you might not like Wall Street. It is insanely smokey, and definitely a little rough around the edges. That being said, the fact that it is a little bizarre and out of place is why I actually enjoy going from time to time. It is kind of fun to wander through the haze of the package store before actually getting to the bar. The bartenders are always really cool, and the drinks are stiff. The first time I went there, they were doing whiskey shots for $ 1. I don’t want to know what brand of whiskey it was, but it is still a dollar drink in 5 Points, and I think even the most ‘hip’ part of town still needs a reliable dive like Wall Street.

If you like smoke and asbestos in your cheap drinks, this is the place to go. My friend, who will remain nameless because his goal is to be the Norm Peterson of Wall Street, thinks this is the best bar in Jacksonville. Next time my wife and kids are out of town maybe I’ll hit up this bar again… and then I’ll have to immediately wash the cigerette smoke out of my clothes so I don’t smell it for the next week.

When you first walk into Wall Street, you’ll do a double take certain that you’ve entered a convenience store by accident. Keep going. It gets better. Behold. a real deal dive bar. Strong drinks, cigarette machine, jukebox. Check, check, and check. I think Wall Street may even have carpeted floors, but my drink was so strong I don’t really remember. Things I do remember: you can smoke cigarettes inside, they have Silver Strike AND Big Buck Hunter(whoa! If you don’t know what these are, congratulations on having a life) and Rob Zombie is available in abundance on the jukebox. I wouldn’t want to spend a whole evening at Wall Street. In fact, I didn’t even want to have a second drink, but if you need a good dive spot for a pre or post-game cocktail, this is a fine choice. In fact, I’ve been looking for a Pete’s replacement ever since I moved from the beach, and this spot fits the bill perfectly! Now I just have to figure out how to get a bumper pool table in there…

I prefer this place over Birdies any day. It was a late Saturday afternoon and me and a fomer coworker went in there… needless to say, hilarious. The bartender is old enough to be my grandmother but totally cool… the only people in here were die-hard drunks. we had a blast. We spent hardly nothing and had a blast just putting music in.

Never had the food but the drinks are stronger and cheaper than any other establishment in the area. Very divers atmosphere. If Penny is working make sure to have her as your bartender.

Now this is a dive bar. Someone once said to me, in a conversation concerning the awesomeness of this very much loved local hangout, that while Wall Street is dirty, cramped, smokey, and in many ways not what one would consider a top choice, it «feels like home». To me, that about sums this place up perfectly. It feels like you walked into your best friend’s basement. You pick up a few darts, grab a drink so cheap you almost forget you even paid for it, and are bound to run into at least a few friends there or, if you don’t, at least make a few new friends for the night. It is very smokey. I have asthma, so this is definitely a negative. But somehow even that doesn’t keep me away. I am in love with the juke box that is chock full of awesome indie, country, 80’s, classic rock and r&b tunes. I am also in love with the high top tables. I am in love with the fact that you can grab a six pack to take home with you when you exit through the unassuming entrance. And the many many games of darts bound to happen each time you enter that place. I am in love with the eclectic mix of patrons that, while there, all love each other dearly. I am in love with the smart conversations met with the low brow humor. It is a little rough around the edges, but Wall Street is a true gem and part of the heartbeat of this city.
