Walgreens

This review is strictly for the pharmacy. While the store itself is just like any other Walgreens, the pharmacy department is inept. I’ve gotten prescriptions through here for years just for convenience sake. I don’t remember having too much difficulty with them two or three years ago, but in the last year they have messed up nearly every prescription of mine. Today was the last straw — I was charged for a ninety day supply for a prescription and unfortunately didn’t realize it until I got home. When I called to inquire why, I was told that the patient («me») requested 90 days worth. Totally untrue. Even though the medication was in an unopened foil package, they would not let me take it back. Suffice it to say, I’ll be driving a little bit further to get my prescriptions from now on.

You know when pharmacy employees are complaining to customers while standing 10 feet from the pharmacy manger about their 10 hour day, the employees are miserable. Misery loves company and this pharmacy will drag you in with them. Ask questions? How dare you! Shoulder shrugging, looking away every time you begin to speak, interrupting every sentence. If you hate your job that much… leave. No one is forcing you to work at Walgreens, just leave. But misery loves company, remember? The drive thru was/​is closed,…again. I did feel a little better when other employees told me that several people have been complaining recently about the poor attitude of the pharmacy staff member that drove me to write this, the only bad review I’ve ever written. I use Unilocal for positive feedback, just fed up… and you will be too.

Parking is a little tight. Awesome location.

I ordered photos online and picked then up. They were done on time and I was able to pay at the photo area.

I just left Walgreens and we were looking at Christmas things which are marked down 90% off. The cashier had let us know that they are still at full price. We had told them they were Christmas stuff even had Christmas tag on them. He had ask his manager to check on it and he pretty much just blew him off. That is a really lousy manager they have. I hate this Walgreens location. This is the 3^rd time with management we have an issue with. The employees are awesome there except for their horrible managers. They need to replace their management team including the store manager.

It would be nice to come here once and not have the longest line In the fricking world and ONE CASHIER. GEEZUS

Great place to pickup whatever you need. Easy parking located among all the awesome shops and establishments on King & Park. Open 24 hours for those who shop odd hours. REDBOX rentals available and convenient for those who still don’t have an internet connection. :)

The store staff is incredible, for the most part. They’re the only drug store close by so I go often– the girls know me by name and when I change my hair color they notice or when I’m looking for something, they’ll look up and down until it’s found.
The manager (s) have an appropriate façade, but when you have a real problem, they pretty much do, as I like to call it, «The Hulk” — don’t make these guys angry or present them with a problem that is above the average middle-​school aged child’s comprehension.
The pharmacy staff is very dichotomous– one moment they’re giving you treats for your dog at the drive through, other times, you need an inhaler because you’re having an athsma attack and they make you wait while they process and fill Rxs for the 3 picking up hydrocodone with their St. Vincents or Baptist ER bracelet still on.
On the whole, I have no problem with this place– except, I forgot to add this, after a certain time of night, they won’t let you use the restroom… and they KNOW me, plus I was making a purchase, not just a pack of gum kind of purchase, yet they denied me access to the ladies… kind of odd.

Riverside’s Walmart.
Super convenient for us, as it’s right down the road. And it’s a Walgreens, so you know what to expect, what they offer, etc, etc.
Pros: Drive thru RX pickup at this location, excellent people watching after 8 PM, and they do have a limited selection of beer. (save yourself the heartache thou, and just cross the street and hit up Beer:30.)
Cons: Super long lines at times, you might just get approached by a homeless person for money (in store and out) and some of the cashiers are slower than molasses. Parking lot is small and drivers are aggressive for the limited spots.

It’s a drug store where there is not much around. It stands alone without a CVS anywhere near. This might be the first one that I know of. The store was stacked to the roof with stuff. It also could use a good deep cleaning. But it has what you need sometimes. and sometimes you just have to go elsewhere.

I love this Walgreens. It is open when you need it. The staff is always friendly. They know me and my daughter. There is not a lot of turn over. It is great and fast when you need milk or bread, or cold medicine. Sometimes the local supermarket parking lot is a nightmare, so Walgreens is a life saver when you need something fast.

Great place for a bachelor to go in Riverside if you don’t feel like getting all dressed up to go to Wal-​Mart.

This might be a small Walgreens, but they stock it with so much stuff, I doubt you will have a problem finding anything here. You will rarely find empty shelves and this particular store carries a little bit of everything.
It’s always clean inside and the workers are pleasant, the parking lot is well maintained and lit appropriately at night. The drive-​thru pharmacy is a nice thing to have.
It is a nice bonus to have a good store like this in Riverside…
