Tori is the best. She always helps me find things for my gf. If you stand there and talk to Tori, you’ll find that she is super smart and really easy to talk to. She has an intuitive nature that lends itself to finding crazy sweet clothes.

I absolutely adore this shop. It’s located in an renovated alleyway, the moment you step in (as one of my friends said) you feel like you’re in a costume closet of a successful theater department.
The owner, Tori, has a family history of finding gold– her parents were in the antique biz. She excels at collecting bits and bobs from across the decades, modifying them adorably if they’ve been somehow altered or destroyed over the years.
She’s very in tune with her stock, and can easily help you locate something that fits from her current selections.
There’s a private bathroom to change in, which I find much more suitable than traditional changing rooms.
I’ve never walked out of here disappointed.

Tori, the owner of the store, is such a sweetheart. She’s super knowledgeable about all things vintage and will suggest and help you put together awesome outfits, which is great because I have no fashion sense whatsoever. Plus, it’s all very affordable! Woo hoo!
The store is cozy and yet there’s quite a few things in here from dresses to hats to jewelry to shoes. It’s not open by appointment only anymore… it has regular store hours, which is good.
Totally worth a visit!

I was so impressed with That Poor Girl Vintage. It’s a tiny little shop packed with awesome vintage pieces, everything from swimsuits to hats to dresses. The owner was super laid back and very helpful. She even suggested a few pieces after asking me about what era/​style I was into. I would definitely suggest making the trip to King St. but definitely call first to make sure it’s open. I live about forty minutes away but I will definitely be making the trip back. It’s worth it!

Updated: They have hours!!! It’s small but packed with good things. A really great selection of unique and adorable clothes and accessories! Especially good if you’re looking for something cute to wear on a date or out on the town. The prices are totally reasonable-(think 15 – 60 dollars) especially considering that you’re getting something cool and individual that no one else around is going to have! I’m excited to go back and stock up soon! Check out the Etsy store, too, she posts things on that site as well:-)
