I have not been to this location in a long time maybe that’s the case for many people because the inside looks like it hasn’t been remodeled since 1987! I will say that the service was good and the food was good but they seemed a little overwhelmed and they forgot the bacon on my breakfast order even though it wasn’t busy because it was 7:30 at night… also I have to say with all due respect one of the waiters needs to wear less cologne… so to sum it up: enter at your own risk

Let me just say it has been years since I have been to a Village Inn so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Service was amazing. The waiter was an older gentleman that was on the ball. Never did we wait for refills and he was always checking on our table. The way service should be. I got the build your own burger and it was delicious. Food is not expensive. I highly recommend.

I have only eaten pie from Village Inn and that is why i am giving it 5 stars. I tried the Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme on Pi Day this year and was blown away by how yummy it was! I wish I could eat pie for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day! YUM

It’s like IHOP and Waffle House had a grease baby. The service was great and the pricing was fairly on point. Their pies looked delicious, but I didn’t try them.

My husband(active duty) and I(veteran) came in for the Veterans Day free breakfast and experienced sub par service. It wasn’t horrible or anything, but the waitress was rude. She cut me off in the middle of ordering to take my husbands order, and when I asked her about the price of the sides(since they weren’t listed on the menu) she just said«um, like less than $ 3 for most…» Not exactly the answer I was looking for. Overall she was rude and slow to tend to our table. The nicest she was, was when she was talking to out infant daughter. Food was average.

I can’t help but say that over the 3 times I’ve been here I always seem to enjoy my meal. Always get the pick 4 and enjoyed it thoroughly everytime! With that said. Never fails, that the waitress forgets something in our order. Also they charged me for adding pecans to my pancakes. If choosing pancakes with chocolate is included, why charge for pecans? Anyway. The pies I haven’t tried because I always find myself full after eating te pick 4. Although, that won’t stop EVERYONE in that place from querying you, if you’d like some pie. «No!, for the 8th time, I don’t want no damn pie!» Haha. The atmosphere is very very old school… When I say old school, I mean it because the average age of the clientele is around 79… With all that said. Go, and enjoy. It’s a better version of IHOP. Happy dining.

The Village Inn had some problems and I said something to the GM and he corrected it. Great customer service and the food was much better. It was also at night about 9. Great pies.

REALLY bad! I have really tried to be a loyal Village Inn customer as I love their pie and some of their breakfast items, and it is a kid-friendly place where my granddaughter will usually actually EAT! :) I have put up with years of typically bad/slow service as the food is usually worth waiting for(not great, but usually good). But my last experience there was IT, I will not be going back. I ordered my usual mediterraen omelette, which has feta cheese in it. Well, whatever the white stuff was that they put in my omelette, it was NOT feta. Looked like cream cheese but tasted really weird(Crisco maybe??). When I complained to my waitress, who waits on me ALL the time, she changed the subject. When I pressed the issue, told her whatever it was I couldn’t eat it and asked her to find out what it was, she disappeared into the kitchen and then never came back to my table, although she eventually emerged and waited on serveral other tables. I then asked another server for the manager. She acknowledged it didn’t look right and also disappeared into the kitchen. She NEVER came back out of the kitchen, and I waited a full 7 minutes. The cashier did take the item off my check but what I really wanted was an explanantion. An «I’m sorry» might have been nice as well. So disappointing. I don’t think regular customers should be treated any better than anyone else, but you would think they wouldn’t have wanted to lose my business. Oh well, will be trying some of the other breakfast places in the area and hoping for a better outcome! Also complained to the corporate office but recieved no response from them either!

3 words: FRENCHSILKPIE. LOL, ok, the breakfast is good, too. I miss the Village Inn at the beach. That saved my friends and me after clubbing all night. I remember you could order pancakes with chocolate chips and ice cream on top!!!

I had the caramel pecan silky pie and it was good. I only came for the pie, but the menu looked good for diner food. The inside could be remodeled but hey at least my pie was cheap! A great option for«something to do» when you’re bored… Pie with friends :-) … And open till midnight on weekdays.

The Mandarin area Village Inn has been in this area for over 20 years. It is the iconic breakfast and specialty pie stopping place for the locals. While the breakfast, lunch and dinner menu is ok, it is the PIE here that will make me drive across town to visit! There are 3 pies here that are simply sugar coma inducing delights: French Silk Pie — silky chocolate cream pie with a really yummy whipped cream topped with a good portion of chocolate shavings. Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Pie — several layers of chocolate fudge with a peanut butter ‘silk’ with a graham cracker crust. This pie also is topped with whipped cream. SIMPLYAMAZING! Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme Pie — I am one of the few people who do not care for Pecan Pie, but for whatever reason, I love this pie most of all! This has the French Silk chocolate layer with a caramel pecan layer as well. There are layers of a sinful cream cheese mixture interdispursed within the pie as well. INCREDIBLE Stuff!
