By now with my other nail shop I would be going in for a re-​do. As I was starting my day I made a mental note that I need to get my nails done… Until I inspected my nails and WOW! They still look very fresh. No chips, NOTHING! I am EXTREMELY impressed with the lady with the scowl on her face that did my nails. I guess she was just laser focused! LOL I just got back three hours of my Saturday! Thank you Unique nails!

I have been going to this salon for a few months now and I love it! And so does everyone else because you for sure need an appointment to get in. This is the only place in Jax I have found that knows how to do gel manicure the way it should be done where it lasts! I cannot say enough about this place. I love it!

I get a French manicure with gel polish about every two weeks and have been for a while. This salon is by far the worst I’ve ever used. I had naturally long nails going in and the girl filed them down to the skin underneath, which actually hurt. On top of the terrible manicure, they charged me $ 35 making it the worst and most expensive manicure I’ve ever gotten. When I told her she filed it too short she replied with, «when you come back in 3 weeks they will be longer». Oh really? Thanks for clarifying. I will never come back to this place.

Best nail salon in San Marco south side area. New to jax and finding a good nail salon was one of my main concerns. I was so happy to come across this salon thanks to fellow Unilocalers! Friendly staff and do an awesome job on gel manicures, my nails always look perfect when I’m finished and I never have chipping or breakage! The wait time can be long at times but it is well worth the wait, I won’t be going anywhere else but unique nail salon :)

Love this place! I live at the beach and travel to get here. They will fix chipped nails with less than two weeks on them for free (gel)! Only had to use that perk once in the 7 mos I’ve been coming. Always a good job and good leg and hand massages. Jasmine is great but they all are. Unless I find some place just as good and closer they will be my go to place! Reasonably priced and super sweet staff!

Being an out-​of-​towner, it can be pretty nerve wracking to come to a new salon & trust a new technician especially when you are picky with a refill (not looking too lumpy or uneven nail filing) — but this place put me right at ease. Did a gel fill… LOVED IT! Loved it more than my original person back in Boston! && great prices. Reviews never lied on this place, very content! Will return !

Street parking scarce in San Marco, but lots of parking behind building.
This place has a million colors to choose from, which is amazing!
But, they shaved the top layer of my nails for a gel manicure. Which just makes them even more brittle once the gel comes off. I also think the nail polish is way too thick. I am in town visiting and found this place on Unilocal.
I don’t mind it as a one time nail place, but don’t think I would make it an every two week place. I have been to some amazing places and this is just mediocre.
It was $ 30 for a gel manicure which is also pretty pricey for what I’ve been used to.
