Impromptu visit during a recent business trip… couldn’t have been more fortunate to visit this gem. Everything was delicious!

I used to come to another restaurant of this chain. Off the I-10 and desided to try this place. It looks similar. This place little smaller then other one but still good. Customer service here was ok 3.5 out of 5 I was surprised that they charge here first then give you food. I ordered pulled port and it was little dry and portion is not biggest. If you want more of it get dinner plate it’s bigger. It would be nice to have toothpicks here. I am surprised they don’t have any. And cashier said many people ask about it.

I’m from the north and was driving past here in my way back up to Philadelphia. Let me say… I am glad I did. The meat here was really awesome. The food was amazing. The bbq sauce they had was brown gold in a bottle. The only thing that kept me giving them a five star was the cleanliness. They could wipe tables(with a cleansing agent and clean paper towel) a little more often. The place is cool though. They have a really sketchy back room where people sign their names on the walls etc. The front is where we say and ate and I really didn’t pay attention to much other than the brisket and those ribs.

My boyfriend and I got the meal for two. The meal came with 4 meats, 4 sides, and 4 pieces of toast for $ 22. The meal was a good price for the large portion size. I was not impressed with the customer service. The woman that took our to-go order was not very friendly, however, the gentlemen that gave us our food was very nice. The food was OK, but not anything to call home about. They have delicious sauces. I did enjoy the pulled pork, but I did not like the chicken. It was very rubbery and not cooked well. The beans were great, but the Mac and cheese was very bland with no flavor.

Great food, only been less than wonderful one time. A good sized portion for the lunch combo.

I have had this BBQ catered for three different events that I have attended in the last two weeks! I was so excited to see it again after the first taste. The BBQ is delicious! The BBQ Sauce is incredible! I can’t wait to eat in the restaurant soon!

«Tree“mendous is just that tremendous! I had the pulled pork plate accompanied with mac-n-cheese and green beans. The sides were phenomenal. I love mac-n-cheese and it’s hard to find good quality when eating out. I would of had a meal of this mac-n-cheese alone had I known how good it was The pulled pork was just as tasty with a good variety of homemade sauces. This place is a must visit! Very fast and very courteous. My only disappointment is that my plate was eventually empty!!!

Ended up in Orange Park randomly and was looking for a good lunch spot. Found Treemendous on Unilocal and decided to swing by. The cashier/waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. She recommended the beef, Turkey, ribs, and chicken. We got all but the chicken, plus some other sides. The ribs were phenomenal and the turkey was extremely juicy. The beef was a bit dry but after speaking with her she happily gave us another batch that was much better. I was planning to 4 star, but the service was exceptional and bumped to 5. She kept checking on us to see how we were doing and all her recommendations were spot on!

This is the best barbecue joint I have ever had the pleasure of stuffing myself in! The food is plenty and fills the plate over the sides. All of the food is prepared on the spot and has the best flavour! I can’t attest for everything on the menu as I typically sick with my usual; pulled pork, french fries, and baked beans. :-)

I love places like these. As we travel, we rely heavily on input from Unilocal to steer us to these kinds of hole in the wall, nothing too fancy, but good food, kind of places. #1. Employees– super nice and super helpful. Had a hard time deciding on a side and they let me try it before I ordered. I had three different guys that worked there come ask if we needed anything and to make sure we liked everything. #2. Value– we ordered the 2 meat family deal. It was $ 34.50 and came with 2 meats, 2 quart size sides and 8 slices of buttered, thick, Texas toast. You can order any of the meats they offer(including a full rack or ribs which usually runs $ 23, al la carte). It was an incredible deal and my family of 5 has enough leftover for supper too. #3. Fresh food– everything is made fresh. We had the beef and the ribs. Loved the 3 types of sauce they served – all good! Collards are from the farmers market down the road, Mac and cheese is made from scratch and the baked beans have loads of meat in them, which I loved. The guy helping us said the baked beans are what they go through the most of. We also tried the Lima beans and rice which I really enjoyed. #4. Dessert– if you eat in, you get banana pudding, complimentary. I mean, it doesn’t get any better than that. #5. Don’t expect fancy– as I said, its a hole in the wall. Look for the polka dotted pig in the front. You’ll eat off styrofoam plates, use paper towels for napkins, and sit at an air conditioned picnic table inside. It’s a cute little spot… give ‘em a try! We enjoyed it and will be back next time we travel through.

After reading the review of this place I was excited to give it a shot. I will say that I may be considered by some to be a BBQ snob. I don’t think that I am, but I have had quite a lot of experience eating BBQ foods because we cook in BBQ competitions. Perhaps that is why even though the food was good here, it was not anything special. We came when they were pretty busy fulfilling catering/call ahead big orders so it took them a few minutes to get around to taking our order. I decided I wanted to try the brisket sandwiches as it is one of my favorites. The sandwich was packed full of meat which was a nice surprise, but truthfully it was pretty dry and didn’t have a lot of flavor. I doctored it up with some of the BBQ sauce that was on the table and it did taste better, but again it wasn’t anything fantastic. I had a hard time eating it because it was dry. I know that brisket is not necessarily an easy meat to cook, but I did expect it to be a little less dry. Perhaps it was old from being held, I am not sure. If you are looking for BBQ this will fit the bill, and their catering seems to be very popular but I will stick with the places that I know are a cut above the rest.

Had lunch here on Independence Day. The staff was wonderful! Great place for a family of 9. BBQ pulled pork sandwich with a side and a drink for $ 8 can not be beat. The sweet sauce and barbie-Q sauces were great on the sandwich! Beans, mac and cheese, and collard greens were delicious! Sweet tea was also amazing. The banana pudding was the perfect ending to a great lunch! Definitely recommend!

Portions are generous so if this style BBQ suits you then it’s a good deal. I found the pork dry with a smokey taste that overpowered the flavor. My wife said the lettuce and other ingredients in her salad were very fresh. I don’t want to even see a vegetable when I’m having BBQ, so I can’t confirm.

Nothing really wrong with it but not really special. I am just passing through town so I cannot tell if this is the best of the area or just a solid spot. I ended up here after my target spot was closed. Had a rib and beef dinner with green beans and cole slaw. The were out of pulled chicken. The ribs were moist and not so meaty. The hard wood smoke was mellow and pleasant. Served with a dry rub only. The beef was mostly a leaner cut. Even less smoke and almost a roast beef vibe. It had a delicious bark but I only got tiny bits in my serving. The 3 sauces on the table were a sweet, a mustard, and a thin bouillon-y(vinegar?). All were great. I particularly liked the thin sauce and commend the sweet sauce for not being too sweet. The green bean side was great with a porky broth like a nice soup. The coleslaw was a classic mayo version. You can’t get much better The above was served with a buttered Texas toast which I didn’t eat as I can do the dairy. They were nice enough folks. Stop by if you are in the area.

Our favorite BBQ location. We seriously don’t go anywhere else and why would we? This is insanely awesome food. I’m vegetarian so I don’t partake in the meat but from what hubby and father in law tell me… its the best. But I have had their sides. The coleslaw is really good. Its not too sweet or too vinegary. The potato salad is just right also. This is a dry rub BBQ so you have to ask for wet sauce to add to it. The only downside is it needs a bigger location! That place at lunch or dinner is packed to the max. They even have a pink pig out front that the kiddos can take pics with. Unless they change something drastically… we will always be back!

I’m in love with small quaint places and this one is awesome! I’m visiting from CT and I wanted to try some southern bbq. This place certainly didn’t disappoint. Their portion sizes, to me, are huge! The lunch portion was like dinner size for me. The prices are very reasonable! I definitely enjoyed my meal and the staff was really friendly.

Stopped in on our way home from a trip to North Carolina based on the Unilocal reviews. Had ribs, chicken, pulled pork and sides. If you are traveling 295 at lunch time, make the side trip off the belt and come get some great bar-b-q! Don’t forget to take a pic with the spotted pig!

Wow, word of mouth is definitely working for this joint, I must say. Got there at 11:30 a.m. to see a packed house. I was lucky enough to snag the last table, though, so big sigh of relief. Now… why 5 stars now as opposed to my 4 star review? Because they deserve it, that’s why. Because there’s a difference between BBQ that makes people full and BBQ that makes people happy. I don’t just leave this place stuffed, I leave here wanting to come back tomorrow, and smiling at the thought. As MUCHHHH as I wanted to try the«roll up your sleeves» ribs this go around… the pulled pork sandwich was calling my name and I couldn’t resist. I barely glanced at the menu, in fact, because I knew it wouldn’t matter. Pulled pork it was. Between two pieces of thick, garlicky texas toast. And with the«sweet» sauce? I can’t even tell you… partly because I’m starting to drool. Winner winner pulled pork dinner. What puts it over the top is the bark that’s chopped in with the meat. That slight crunch to compliment the soft shreds of pork. I just… sat there wanting to savor the taste, really, that’s what it comes down to. Top rated sides: Baked beans, corn fritters, collard greens, onion rings. The mac n cheese, you ask? Borderline«meh» and«so-so». Banana pudding very popular, though. I «people glanced» the other tables… not much talking going on… just satisfied grunts and nods of approval being exchanged between bites. Nice to know I’m not alone :)
