Well I went in for an ombré and left with a whole head of orange damaged hair and weird horizontal dark stripes. I understand they are students and I’m pretty easy going about my hair but this was a whole new level. The instructor kept telling her it’s good. Then at the very end they knew it was bad but wouldn’t outwardly acknowledge it and still made me pay 60 $! They DESTROYED my hair. I cried all day Saturday. I can’t afford to go to a legit salon to try and fix it and I used my tax return to get it done. What a waste of money and time. (It took 4 hours) I just wanted to finally do something for me and feel fresh and new but instead I look terrible and feel worse! I’ve been trying to repair the damage with conditioners and hair masks all day but my hair is like straw now. Worst expirience EVER. :(

Wow, I can’t believe that this place doesn’t have any reviews yet! I had heard of this place when I went to the bridal show expos earlier in the year. After that I didn’t give them much thought until my moppy headed husband said to me that he wanted to get a haircut. Me being the money skrimper that I am couldn’t pass up the Unilocal check in offer for free men’s cuts on Tuesdays. So I called and they had appointments available. We got there and they took us back soon after even though we were early.
Before they even touched a hair on my husbands head they did forewarn us that it is a school and that sometimes cuts are quick other times they take a long time. It just depends on how long, short or not maintained your hair is. In my and my husbands case it had been beyond too long between cuts. They also let us know that the professional instructor would be watching the student the whole time to make sure they stop them before they make a wrong snip. I felt super reassured and they gave such a trusting vibe that I couldn’t help to ask how much women’s hair cuts were and they said $ 17! I couldn’t help but ask if I could get one right then and there and you know what, they took me right away! They also listened to exactly what I wanted and gave it to me! I’ve had so many bad experiences in other places that I’m always hesitant to get my hair cut which is why it had been about two years since my last cut but I knew it was time. I am extremely happy with my cut. They took off exactly how much I said and the bed head products they used made my hair feel awesomely soft! My husband also loves his new hair cut and he looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself. Now the only reason why they don’t get the full 5 stars is because both of our cuts took a total of two hours but mind you we had very unmaintained hair that was wild and damaged. We saw other people come and go while we stayed and continued to get our hairs cut so it might not take as long for you as it did for us. Overall I can’t beat the awesome prices they have and they did such great work that I’m sure I’ll be back sometime soon.

Students are willing to listen and take instruction and instructors do a great job helping with the service without being pushy.
