Like many others getting lasik surgery was very scary. Qualsight was very easy to work with and the fee was very good. When I went in and met the staff I felt more at ease. Janet was wonderful at answering my questions and putting my mind at ease. Due to my school and work schedule it was tricky to schedule the surgery. Janet worked with me to make it happen. All went well and I am thrilled with the outcome. Everyone in the office was nice but Janet was exceptional. I recommend having your lasik surgery done here.

I don’t know what Shawn A. was talking about– I have had absolutely no wait time. I also realize in the afternoons can be quite busy due to everyone getting off from work and booking their appointments then. If anything, the long wait time is due to the high quality service each patient is getting. I have had a wonderful experience pre, during and post operation. I got a PRK procedure done – Dr. Ivan and his nurses were wonderful in accommodating my deafness in making sure I was well informed. I used a groupon deal and did not add any other services such as tear drops, platinum services… My deal was bronze and I am happy with the results.

Their doctor is great, the wait times are ridiculous been waiting an hour and a half just for a follow up visit.
Update: it’s been 9 moths after having 20⁄20 vision and things couldn’t be better, so was still worth the wait in the waiting room.
Jen, you don’t know what I’m talking about because you were not there. My experience is mine and glad you were not subjected to it. Bottom line is their appointment scheduling is flawed, they schedule in 2 hour blocks. What I mean by that is you can have 10 people scheduled for the same 10:00 time. I arrived at 9:45 and was the last person to check in for the 10:00 block. Again doctor was great and very happy with results, just get there ½ hour early.

Absolutely thrilled with my LASIK surgery at LVI. What a life — changing event.
Dr. Insler, Janet M., Shavon, Angela and the rest of the staff are so accommodating and informative. I drove nearly two hours from Gainesville just because I felt so comfortable with LVI. Do not be afraid to look into LASIK or the other options they have.
