Customer Service was great and food was even much better! I ordered the chimi-Chunga with steak and omg it was so delicious and flavorful! I will be returning back to this food truck! Oh and I went during my 30min lunch break and service was quick!

THEGOOD: — The flavors are great! — The menu is vast — The service is fast THEBAD: — One of my tacos only had meat on it! I ordered the weekly special(Thai Sweet Chili Chicken Taco), and the Hawaiian Taco with pulled pork. The Sweet Chili taco was AMAZING. It came with chicken, sweet chili sauce, veggie rice, and greens. It was so good that I would certainly eat it again and again — add it to the regular menu! The Hawaiian Taco was a complete let down. I asked for no cheese, and instead also got no pico, no cilantro, and no wonton crisps — ONLY meat. Yes, the pulled pork and bacon tasted great together, but I wanted more! I also thought the taco would have a fresh pineapple salsa, but it did not. it would have been much better with such an addition.

Hands down the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. The volcanic chicken tacos are the way to go with crispy jalapeño strips, bacon, cheese and a little cilantro. The guys working the truck are also super friendly. Give this a try for lunch one day, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic Taco Truck. I ordered the Spicy Asian Chili tacos and they were incredible. I’ll have to make Taco Tuesday’s a thing.

Solid food truck. Give this a try. They recently won the 2014 best taco for the jax food truck championship. I had the bourbon taco with steak, but had it made into burrito instead. Comes with rice, jack and sharp cheese, and bourbon sauce. Comes with a small side of chips and an ounce or two of queso and salsa. Great pick for 10 bucks and some change. The bourbon sauce was sweet and the steak was a bit salty so it was an interesting combo that worked well. The chips and queso/cheese was also good. I’d certainly add this to my list of food trucks that I’d keep coming back to. They do accept credit.

Well the first time I ate with theses guys it didn’t turn out well. This time at the Trunks n Trucks theses guys blew me away. Top notch tacos. The tortilla was soft and held everything in place. The meat was there a fair amount with some good spicing. The veg was very fresh and crisp. The whole meal was delish. I’m so glad that I ate at this truck again. I even looked back to see what I had the couple of times I have eaten with this truck. Talk about a man of habit I had the same Black n Blue tacos. Oh don’t let me forget the rice and beans. The rice was quite fluffy and not the starch glue that I’m used to. I whole I will put this truck in my go to rotation.

I made my way to Taste Buds Express for the first time yesterday, and I’m leaving it at A-OK for now. The menu was eclectic and promising with choices like a Jumbo BBQ Sweet Potato and Southwest Poutine. Yum! I kept it relatively simple and opted for a Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork Taco and a couple Southwest Egg Rolls(2 for $ 5!) I waited about 5 minutes at the truck and then made my way home, food in hand. I opened my to-go box to find my taco wrapped in some foil alongside two crispy, plump egg rolls with some interesting green dipping sauce. I dunked one and took a big bite. Pretty good. Corn, black beans, and onion were all melting and hot inside the toasty, crunchy shell. It was a little mushy, but still had good flavor. I unwrapped the taco to find a pretty soggy affair, though. The tortilla was mushy and the pork, onions, and cojita cheese were thrown together pretty sloppily. Oh well though, it’s a taco right? Not exactly white-tablecloth stuff or anything. I took a big bite hoping for fireworks, but what I got was a little more like«hmmph.» Hickory-smoked is right. The southern, BBQ flavors of the pork didn’t mesh very well with the pickled onions and cilantro in my opinion, and I didn’t make it too far into this part of the meal. I will absolutely be back to give Taste Buds another go, but this time was somewhat underwhelming. Next time, I’m going to take my cue from the ladies ahead of me who both got those Jumbo Sweet Potatoes. Check back for an update so
