Starbucks

Eh… Hit or miss with this location. I try to have a very basic order, yet most people who come in after I do seem to get theirs first. Example: yesterday I ordered a single shot on ice. Took almost ten minutes to receive, yet other lattes, and blended drinks placed after me were made first. And what is up with the cashiers ALWAYS asking me if I want the «reduced fat» coffee cake?! I know I’m a little on the chubby side, but unless I specifically say I want one, please do not assume that is the one I am asking for! Especially since the reduced fat was is not the tastiest, or so I am told… Because you see, it is for my hubby, who also works across the street with me.
Sometimes I have been in and had the nicest baristas, and then this morning it was like «eh, you’re here, cool, what’s your order?» Although for being as packed as it was, they got my drink out in record time, so I’m pleased about that.
My advice would be to train your cashiers to be friendlier, and to not assume.

This is a great location. I love that it has a drive through and is just down the road from where I work. The service is fast and I always get exactly what I ordered!

I’m out here on vacation and I was warned by family members that this location never gets their orders right. Well, sure enough we went through the drive through and my drink was wrong and so was my sisters. They’ve told me they have even had to go inside after the drive thru to get their drinks remade. It’s a disappointment every time.

I love this over priced coffee. It’s kind of an obsession actually. This location is fairly close to my house so it’s easy to get to. The staff is extremely kind and always ready to explain any of my coffee questions. This location is clean! Everything I would expect from such an awesome company! I like the Carmel Frap! Yumm! Anything Carmel actually is my favorite.

I have only been through the drive thru, and the service has always been pleasant. This location’s drive thru is always busy (at least every time I go it’s hopping). No complaints.

Best Starbucks in jax. It gets insanely busy, but the staff is awesome. I’m a regular and it’s nice to be remembered, not only by name, but by what drink i get.
This one has more seating than most but expect no tables or seats on Sunday afternoons. That’s when the crowd of laptop campers is the worst.

Visited this location a few time due to convenience, every time is a disappointment. The few times I’ve gone inside to order I have to remind them of my order because they forgot to make it! I understand, super busy, not a problem. The bigger problem is the staff seems untrained and lack any customer service at all. Drinks never taste right, staff seems frustrated and (what I assume to be newbies) are super confused and don’t know how to take drink orders. I’d definitely suggest trying a different location.

Love the location. They have overcome issues and now there drive thru flows well and there Baristas are well trained. I really have never been to a Starbucks I didn’t love though. :)

Dropped in a few times over the weekend and really was able to kick back and relax and enjoy my caffeine addiction in peace. Friendly staff. One patron actually gave me a chocolate croissant she mis-​ordered. Lucky me
Free wi-​fi was super fast. I highly recommend this lovely coffee lounge. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Quick service, mechanical staffs and drive-​thru.
Just a regular *bucks located adjacent to Aloft hotel and Yashi Sushi.
It is small inside but quite nice, ideal for hanging out with friends. There is a good sized patio seating too. I was just trying to kill some time before movie in Tinseltown only to realize later there is a Starbucks inside the theater too.

Working in the area so I’ve always been a regular but recently coworkers and I have both noticed drinks being more watered down than usual and the overall quality and attention to detail is lacking in anything I’ve recently purchased… The staff are friendly but do tend to take their time

One of the quickest Starbucks I’ve been too! The drive thru was wrapped around the building but, I went inside and the barista got me in and out in an instant!

Absolutely love this location. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable. Because it is close to our church, a lot of people come and chill after. I have always been made to feel welcome, no matter if it’s just me, or 10 others. Also, I must say, we have a homeless ministry in our church and this particular store donates coffee EVERY time. Kristin is an amazing manager and is so very helpful.

I used to come here to study and write research papers. Very calm and quiet ambiance, not too noisy or distracting. Comfortable couches too!

Very quick and efficient Starbucks. Every time I go thru the drive thru the line moves very quickly and I have a very short wait time. The staff at the window are always very friendly And My order is always done correctly and the best part is, is that the outside of my cup is never sticky. My drinks are always pretty tasty but occasionally the coffee taste is a little bitter, but they will fix your drink for you. Overall this place satisfies my Starbucks needs pretty well :-)

I do a lot of face to face meetings at Starbucks across the country and after a couple of days of thinking about my experience here — I have to share it. I came in on Friday night around 9pm and it was busy and fully staffed. I ordered the new feature frozen coffee Tiramesu drink and stood at the pick up spot ready to receive. I looked up to see the employee reach for my cup and another with a «bowling ball three finger grip». YES — all fingers deep inside both cups. He started to prepare mine and right before he quickly started to add the ice I called out his name to please start over and leave the fingers outside my cup. He laughed and started over… I’m glad he didn’t say anything smart. Thankfully this isn’t my home Starbucks

I am a Starbucks regular. A little more like obsessed to be precise ;)
It’s true, I’m a caffeine addict and barely function without it. So of course, I hit up Starbucks pretty much 2 – 4 times a week. So if I’m such a regular, why the 3 star review? Well normally I’ve not had any issue at this particular Starbucks but today I had a particularly bad experience.
To the barista who decided to crumple a cup in my face, throw it away, and then walk off in the middle of my order I hope your day gets better, sincerely. I know this particular Starbucks gets completely crazy. But deciding to walk off because you chose to write my order cold instead of hot before I was finished isn’t a reason to throw an attitude. And just to be clear her demeanor was not only off with me but also with the lady in front of me.
Despite my service the tea was great! Passion Tango, try it! You’ll love it!

It’s Starbucks. It’s also in a very busy area near lots of offices and other businesses so it’s consistently pretty busy. I’ve rarely been inside but lately have been to a few work meetings there and even on a Friday afternoon, there isn’t much room for even a small group to sit (there were 4 of us and outside was our only option). In my experience they could use not only a larger store but more parking as well.
As far as service and drinks, I don’t have any complaints but I also don’t find it to be anything to write home about. Since it does get very busy, to be safe you should expect to spend some time waiting.

This was a work from a coffee shop dream stop for me for about 2 years in a row. All the baristas were awesome and knew our names, and my colleague and I would drink coffee and refreshers all day out on the patio and work work work.
(Then all of the construction at Aloft put a bit of a damper on that… it was a bit noisey)
But all the construction is done, Starbucks has new, bigger and improved umbrellas out on the patio, and the drive thru service has still never steered me wrong.
Really can’t beat that. Convenient Southside location that we could sneak out for a «lipstick lunch» at Ulta.
It’s been awhile since I’ve pulled an all day coffee workathon from this area, but seems to be plugging right along. :)

I love stopping by this Starbuck because it is so close to work. When I can’t make it into the store, the drive-​thru allows me to get my morning fix. However, depending on when the time of the morning, the drive thru is packed making it hard to get in and out of the parking area.
I have my best time at this location when I have the time to spend and enjoy a cup of coffee. The entirior is super comfy and has configurations to meet about everyones needs, from those needing to work our study, to those just wanting to hang out and enjoy a nice chat with friends.
The only thing I miss, is that at the Starbuck which I frequented before (Towncenter), everyone new my name and had my drink ready. It gave me the feeling of being part of the «Cheers» gang. ;-)
