A small gallery in the pretty Avondale area. They had a very special event this past Saturday — Renoir’s great-grandson Alexandre Renoir was showcasing his work. We attended the kids workshop and it was pretty free-ended. Just draw a picture and Renoir signs it and takes a pic with you. Totally FREE! On display was the work of several famous impressionist artists, like his very own great-grandfather(and one of my favorite artists) Pierre Auguste Renoir, Manet, Cezanne, and Pissarro. And yes, the pieces were on sale!(No, I couldn’t afford any. Lol) I keep wanting to take my son here to see the Seuss art, but it was down during the Renoir/Impressionist exhibit. Next time, though!
