I’m from Oregon, and all I know is See’s Candy (which is heaven in your mouth… No lie), but during my training a girl brought some chocolate covered popcorn and let me try it. AMAZING! Ever since then I said I have to get some of my own.
I convinced myself that I had to try a few things in order for my review to be accurate!
I bought chocolate covered popcorn, milk chocolate covered strawberries, one white chocolate covered strawberry, milk chocolate covered almonds and one chocolate covered bacon to try for the first time!
The almonds are covered in way too much chocolate and all of my co workers said it’s a thumbs down on the chocolate covered bacon! I think it’s because the bacon tasted old, in my opinion they should be made fresh and sold fresh daily.
The popcorn is EVERYTHING and the chocolate covered strawberries were perfect!
They have me as a customer for those two items alone!!!
Try it if you haven’t!

They opened up a larger package of my favorite dark chocolate covered popcorn and repackaged at the smaller size… then gave me the «leftover» from the process on a napkin!!! Big chocolate smiles… so then I saw the chocolate covered BACON… Whhhaaat!

Just ran into this store 5 mins before they closed! The manager was kind enough to accommodate us at the last second and we really appreciated that! Everyone that was working to clean up the store was so kind and nice from the manager lady to the guy who swept the floor and wished us Merry Christmas! I know the chocolate or gelato is the star but the smiling faces are what will bring me back! THANK YOU for the kind bonus at the end! Great store and great products!

The chocolate covered popcorn is amazing!
A while back, I received some goodies from here as a gift and I’ve been back a couple of times to get some of these chocolate treats as gifts for others.
Clearly the standout winner here is the popcorn. But the chocolate covered pretzels, the chocolate covered Oreos, and the chocolate covered graham crackers are really great options too. I even got chocolate covered bacon for a friend. The chocolate is so smooth, so rich, so good!
They have dark chocolate, 72% chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate covering potato chips, pretzels, ritz crackers and more. They also serve gelato and they will coat bottles of alcohol with chocolate and decorate them for an impressive and unique gift.
This is the ideal place to indulge for any chocolate lover!

This local chain is a Jacksonville treasure. They’re most famous for their chocolate-​coated popcorn. They coat various other things with chocolate as well, however, and have a lot of other chocolate items. I think their milk chocolate is superior. They are expensive though: I give Peterbrooke as a gift more often than I eat it myself. Some of the chocolate-​coated things I’ve tried, in approximate order of preference: Oreos, popcorn, pretzels (regular small ones), pretzel pals (clusters of crushed pretzels), and pretzel sticks (the pretzels in these are too thick IMO).

This chocolate is absolutely THE BEST! They always have great gift ideas for everyone. I’ve seen everything from chocolate cigars to hand out when a baby is born to a chocolate high heel shoe for the diva in your life! They are extremely helpful and make sure everyone leaves happy!

Who doesn’t love chocolate? Peterbrooke has every kind of chocolate under the sun, and at good prices compared to other specialty places. Kid friendly (chocolate crayons are awesome). They also have sugar free candy for those who have diet restrictions. It’s the only place I buy sugar free chocolate for my Granny. Great decorations, friendly atmosphere, and helpful staff make for an amazing chocolate buying experience. Keep up the great work, Peterbrooke!!!

I’ve been a BIG fan of Peterbrooke Chocolatier for 20+ years but I don’t get to have their sweet treats often since I moved to Atlanta. I’m back in town visiting family for the holidays and I had to stop by the location near Town Center to get something for my sweet tooth. The folks that work here are very friendly — I’ll definitely be back the next time that I’m in Jacksonville! :-)

I have a holy trip that I always purchase from Peterbrooke. Milk chocolate covered popcorn, dark chocolate covered almonds, and white chocolate covered pretzels. The chocolates are so wonderfully rich and creamy… and the service is also wonderful. Ask for suggestions and the staff will happily assist you with making gift or personal selections.
Don’t forget to try samples while you’re there, you may discover some new treats to enjoy!

This is the BEST Peterbrooke in Jacksonville. It’s by far the best decorated. You MUST go in @ Christmas time!!! It’s always clean. And the staff is the friendliest. They are great about giving out samples so you can try their products.

As a new Jaxonian, it was only a matter of time before I would find myself in one of these establishments. I asked about the history of PB and learned that this is a locally started business with several locations in Jacksonville and two stores in Orlando. There is no large central warehouse or manufacturing headquarters so that means each location makes small batch product. The company is looking for a building to grow.
Speaking of product, this is high quality stuff. I was impressed with the sample I was offered and thought this would make an excellent gift. I especially enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries they offer.
The customer service provided was very strong and also worth a mention. The staff was friendly and provided assistance and narrowed down options to not make this store feel overwhelming. There are a lot of products here and it was helpful talking with the staff.

Oh Peterbrooke… how do I love thee? Let me count the ways… one one-​thousand, two one-​thousand, three one-​thousand! In case you aren’t familiar, that’s Roger Rabbit’s mashed-​up version of Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s poem. Hehe
Seriously, what’s not to love in this store? There’s like chocolate covered everything. I’m echoing Christy C. here when I say the chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered popcorn are to die for. Those are my top two favourite things at Peterbrooke! Costly? Yep! Worth it? Yep! Oh, and let’s not forget the caramel apples.
If you’ve never been to Peterbrooke, you must stop by the very next time you are at The Towne Center. It’s just impossible for me to list all their delicious goodies here. I can tell you though I’ve never tried anything here that I didn’t like.

Very nice staff, and very clean store: pretty much comes standard with any Peterbrooke’s! ;) I’m sure i’m «preaching to the converted», but their chocolate covered strawberries are da BOMB. However, I usually like to experiment, especially since they have such a crazy selection, but they have never let me down. The chocolate covered Ritz crackers (with peanut butter), the ‘chocolate pizza’, the gelato, the chocolate covered popcorn: all of it is delicious!
