Nail Time Julington Creek

I really liked the place. They are a lot cheaper than the place I used to go which was a nice surprise. The salon is super clean and the staff are nice.

First time here and i am very happy. This nail salon is really a very nice place. It’s clean and friendly. My gf and i came here for a pedicure and manicure shellac and the service we received was awesome. If your going to try them it’s always best to make an appointment. The ladies were super nice and we will definitely be back !!!

I enjoy coming here because the salon is large and they are able to accommodate a large amount of people without much of a wait. I give this place three stars because I really enjoy their pedicures and find them to be long lasting. However their gel manicures are another story. Every gel manicure I’ve had has started to peel in a number of days. I think they either dilute their polishes or their UV curing process isn’t efficient. Either way, I just started going here for the pedicures and going elsewhere for gel mani’s. Prices are good and the salon appears clean and sanitary.

Let me preface this by saying that my family and I have been going to to this place since it opened and have watched the service here steadily decline. It used to be amazing! I’m not sure if they are under new ownership or management but something has definitely changed.
Now that that’s said let’s begin! Walked in to get a gel manicure with my mother. There was no wait and which was awesome. The nail tech Bella sits down and doesn’t speak to me but to the tech next to her and asks what I want done (flag number one) and proceeds. She removes my old gel manicure and then proceeds with my manicure witch was subpar at best. My cuticles were knocked several times and my nail bed damn near removed after her filing away with an Emory board instead of a buffer (flag number two). Once that’s done she again asks her friend what colors I wanted to paint my nails. I tell her several times in between two colors and wanted to get her opinion on what I should do, Boston university red or twinkle little star. We decided on twinkle and she suggests that if I want the color to show that I should coat it with white gel first and then layer the glitter coat, which makes sense. So as she’s painting my nails she removes herself from the table to refill the gel bottle. I don’t know what she put in that bottle but I assure you it was not gel polish. It remakes of wall paint. My mother and I used the same white gel bottle and her nails smelled nothing like mine. I asked the tech if she would smell my nails to compare the two and she insisted that some gel colors have a stronger scent. I have been using DND products for almost a year. I’ve tried just about every gel color in their product line and have never come across a color that smelt exactly like fresh wall paint! To add to that the color began to bubble when placed under the UV light. When I brought it up to her she laughed at me along with the other nail tech and she continued.
I continued and let their place the glitter coat on top, however it was too thin and after 4 COATs of white she said the color would be too thick and wouldn’t dry. RIGGHHHTTTT! So I told her it wasn’t what I wanted and she told me ok then you’re done. I was confused because white nails are not what I wanted. So I told her I wanted to change the color and she rolled her eyes got up and walked away. I was confused and continued looking for a new color to add. Bella comes back and try’s to add the gel top coat and I quickly tell her no I’m changing the color. She replies that it will be extra to change the color after I told her white nails are not what I wanted and that I only got them because she suggested it would help bring out the glitter I initially wanted.
At this point I lost it and got up wakes over to my mother and told her we needed to leave. Eventually my mother got me to calm down and they removed the gel. Every nail tech crowded around the table screaming at me trying to figure out what to do. I have anxiety and to have 7 Vietnamese women huddled around you while they’re each trying to get a look at your nails and talking shit about you is unnerving.
We will never return to this place and I suggest you avoid this place as well. They’re rude, hide behind their language when things go wrong (fact, because even the tech that was conversing with my mother during her appointment suddenly couldn’t understand my mother and didn’t want to talk to her). GO TO PINK WHITE DOWN THE STREET! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

We used to love this place, but the quality is going down… Time of basic pedicure went from 55 min to 45min and they spent more time on leg message than foot massage. Rushed painting toenails and really just felt rushed the entire time.

Been before and ok but today was Mothers Day weekend and splurged for deluxe. Unfortunately got someone who doesnt have children and she literally rushed thru the job beating the person next to me who had been seated a good 5 to 7 mins prior. Pls request a more tenured person vs Diamond. she could not have care less abt moms and never asked if water was too hot or stones and did not give me a flower! I still gave her over 20 percent and tried to give her advice abt next client bc she is so young. she walked away w no thank you.

Don’t know what all the negative reviews are about — I love this place! Every time I go somewhere else I always regret it. The prices are competitive to other nice salons but they include more in their packages. Best place to relax and get a great mani/​pedi

Aileen gives the best reflexology pedicure massage I’ve ever experienced. She puts tendons back in place that have been bothersome for weeks. She always has a smile on her face and as a bonus, paints nails beautifully.
I just wish the chairs had more cushion as one’s behind can feel sore after an hour in the chair. The massaging mechanism could be updated. May be time for new chairs.
The place is clean and they offer you a beverage as soon as you sit down. I really like this salon overall.

I wish I could give zero stars. When you first walk in, instead of even getting to the receptionist desk, to sign in and be greeted, I was greeted by the tech at the closest nail station (who was working on someone) asking what I wanted done.
I asked for a basic mani pedi and was told to sign in and write exactly what I just told her what I wanted. Okay. Signed in, sat, and waited. Keep in mind, today is Saturday and it was busy. I waited 15 minutes before the same woman who barked at me when I came in said «excuse me, hello» from her chair. I looked up as yes, I was playing on my phone.
I then went to chair 4 where there was no water in the tub for a pedicure and no nail tech to greet me. Waited another 5 minutes and left.
I don’t mind waiting, so have the person who will be working on me come get me when their ready and take me to the chair, don’t bark at me and then leave me sitting there feeling awkward.
If you want to go to nail time because it’s near your house, I understand. I, however, will find a different salon where the employees are more professional and treat their customers better.

Had a great pedi but the gel nails did not last FOUR DAYS before they began to peel off and crack. I went back, they did them again and ONE day later I was back again! That’s three times in one week! I’m terribly disappointed in the quality of work their nail techs do. Needless to say the third time there another tech tried to correct the issues with my nails but to no avail. They are peeling and lifting yet again! Time to search for another nail salon… happy hunting to me. Nail Time… NEVER again will I go there!

Little over priced but excellent care. Receive deven a massage while getting a full set & wine with no extra charge. Definitely worth it. They did my color and design beautifully
