This particular Kmart is going downhill. Shelves were bare, the store was particularly dirty, and the bathroom floor was covered in old, dirty water. We came here for an advertised sale, but discovered that the items were very overpriced and that the sale prices made them «normal» price after the discount. Rather shady and usually only expected during holiday pricing (like Black Friday). The employees gave the feeling that they were exhausted and would rather be any other place than there. I doubt I will be back any time soon.

This Kmart is a bit up and out of the way. Located on the far side of 295 on Normandy, you probably wouldn’t head up here just to go to Kmart. There are a bunch of shops in this area that you can find some pretty decently priced items.
The store is much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. It’s very clean and doesn’t have that picked over feeling like other department stores on the Westside. The clearance sections are chock full of great stuff so don’t forget to check them out. The last time I was here, I was looking for a new bathing suit. As I was standing there, one of the associates came over and the prices had been lowered from $ 5 per piece to $ 2. Talk about instant rollback. Oops, that’s Walmart.
All in all, I like this Kmart and will probably head up this direction more often now rather than Blanding.
