This dollar tree has been there for a while and it is getting a little bit of used although it seems they may be trying to renovate it. Currently there is a big open area on the left-hand side where they took some shelves down and haven’t put anything up in its place. Obviously the price is right but in most instances you get what you pay for. This is a great place to pick up school supplies and the like because you can get 10 pens or 10 pencils for a dollar and it’s silly to pay more when the kids are just going to lose them. It’s also nice to be able to find bubble bath and kids shampoo for a dollar because kids tend to waste them. Is also a good selection Sotos some snack foods and a decent selection of aspirin and pain relievers and such. The staff is generally decent but it seems like other than the one girl Kim who works there, there is always somebody new working there. The bathrooms are usually kind of dirty and clearly an afterthought.

This is my favourite Dollar Tree in Jacksonville. it’s large, clean, and it’s kept well-organzied. The employees here are also stellar. They are friendly and actually act like they don’t hate their jobs. Imagine that! There are four main things I primarily shop for at Dollar Tree: 1. Balloons. You pay a buck for them here versus $ 4-$ 5 each at other places like Walmart, Winn Dixie, etc. 2. Gift Bags. You pay a buck for them here… any size. 3. Gift Bag Paper(or whatever its called LOL). You pay a buck for a pack of it here. This stuff is also great for wrapping your Christmas ornaments until you need them again next year. 4. Cards. 2 for $ 1 for any occasion. I may seem cheap, but most people read them and toss them in the trash. I just can’t understand the logic in paying $ 5 for a card. There are other odds and ends I may pick up while I’m here, but these are the main staples I purchase here and will continue to purchase here. Dollar Tree, I am a fan!
