Came with a group of 10. We sat on a long table by the bar. Our waitress was Kate. She was great! Super friendly, gave us suggestions when we weren’t sure on which drinks to get. I got the red sangira and it was very good. Next time I’ll try the peach. I didn’t look at the price and when I got the bill that drink cost $ 9! Damn! That was pricey! Why are drinks so pricey? But it was good so I didn’t mind paying that. I got the South Philly cheesesteak and it was pretty good! Let me say this… I was born and raised in Philly… And I haven’t had a good cheesesteak in a long time. Tried other places here in Jax and was not happy… GOGETTHISCHEESESTEAK!!! While it’s not a «true» Philly cheesesteak, it was good, best I’ve had in Jax. The menu said they get the rolls and meat from Philly. Don’t know how true it is but… It was good!!! For dessert we had the brownie tower… Nah, don’t waste your money, the brownies were SUPER hard and dry. And I thought the brownies would be warm too. We didn’t play any games. Just ate and left. Service was great, and other than the dessert, food was great too.

Went here some time ago. Many years ago, this place was a #1 Hit. Now adays, there are just rude employees and people, and I can’t stand them. Plus, when you get your points on your card, it becomes disappointing when you see the little prizes you get. Half the games are very old, cheesy, overrated, and broken. My heart was broken to see my favorite childhood places go to shame. I almost want to shed a tear because of the downfall of this place, but that’s their fault. I would never go back here again.

Took my son with is cousin to check out DBs played games and ate lunch. Food was good. Slow service took a good while to get drinks and refills. Very loud in the dinning area. Several bday parties going for kids in the dinning area. They are remodeling the place so they have no party rooms available. Not super excited about this place customer service used to be so good when they first came to Jacksonville. Now it’s chaotic when it comes to finding someone to service a machine or to get your chips back when a machine takes your chips but doesn’t work.

This location was under construction and it definitely needs it! The place is a bit run down and needs some work. The hostess was not very nice, she seemed not to enjoy her job very much. We ate at the main dinning room which was ok. The food is standard chain restaurant food, nothing ver special. The drink sound and look better than what they taste like which is very disappointing. Word of advice, please don’t let your children order the Mac and cheese, it’s Kraft out of the box mac. Game room needs a new carpet and they need to just eliminate a lot of the older machines since people rarely use them. Beware of the restrooms! At least the Ladies restroom was filthy, stinky and had huge trash cans filled with used toilet paper. The stalls are dirty, the toilet seats were stained and cracked. There are no toilett liners so take your own! Oh, and the whole thing is pepto pink! The stall walls were etched with phone numbers, names and four letter words… please pass on this one.

Look. Before they added the new games, I would have given this place 2 stars. They’ve honestly upgraded the fun in the arcade! Soooo soooo many new and fun games from a jump scare experience game, to old classics like Pac-Man and Luigi’s Mansion! Plus you can play those game as much as you like when you upgrade your card to unlimited play! That is a no brainer for me when taking my son and his friends here for a fun and safe time. Recently, I was able to set up a birthday party for my kiddo here and let me tell you it was GREAT experience. Aside from the fact that they’re remodeling, everything went as planned! The help from the hostess was fantastic! The food was great(it was honestly just chicken tenders and personal little pizzas) and the variety of games was A+ If you’re looking for something to do with a cornucopia of kids, a day out with the family, or just a nostalgic time with buddies, I believe you’d be able to have fun in their new arcade. I can’t give reviews on the drinks or food ordered outside since ours came with a package, but for arcade games and customer service it was great for us!

I have lived in Jacksonville my whole life and never gone to Dave and Busters till last weekend, and may I saw it was a blast! From the games to the food and bar the experience was fantastic. The only critique I have is the price, it would be something I would do more often if it was more affordable.

Had a good experience here tonight. The area was really empty, and there was not a lot of people dining in. We decided to have dinner here. We sat down about 9pm and did not get our food until 10pm. The wait was a little disappointing because it was not busy at all. BUT, The food was really good and was definitely the wait. I had the seafood menu, the bass was amazing. My mother had the bang bang chicken w/Thai noodles. That was really good too. The waiter was provided us awesome service until we finished our meals. She was talking and leaning on the table with the male customer. She stayed there for like 5 mins. While we were waiting patiently for her to finish to get our checks. But we were really ready to leave. But overall our experience here was not to bad. Good was good. Waiter was eh.

This place used to be great, but over the years, it’s starting to go downhill. Not sure if it’s because I’ve gotten older or that the games and staff are getting crappier everytime I’m there. I came here for a friend’s pre-wedding dinner party and we had the showroom area. It looked decent to hold about a good amount of 50 people. A lot of space to get food as it was served as a buffet style. However, the food has gotten a bit more bland than before. I think the best food opinion was the chicken tenders. Lol. The cool thing is that when you book the showroom with a good option, they also give you powercards loaded with I believe 50 game chips. The games changed since the last time I was there. There still some older games that are still there like the Raptor ball, Big Fish Reel, wheel of fortune coin drops, etc. They are in the middle of remodeling the bar area as well. The«yellow brick road» is no longer there or the rocket counter. The Winner’s circle changed and got some decent prizes to win. They really need to remodel or clean the restrooms more because it’s always dirty… Other than that, I come here once in a while. If you want to spend money, try to do the extra charge powerplays. You’ll get a little more.

Dave & Buster’s is one of the very few food & drink spots within walking distance of the Jacksonville Marriott, just down Salisbury Road from the hotel. D&B’s is a Dallas-based national chain of entertainment venues where you can eat, drink, play & watch sports all under one roof. The first D&B opened in the early 80s, but today you’ll find over 70 locations around the country, with more being built each day. The layout of each location is very similar, which is perfect if you’re a fan of the concept and like to travel. Walking in the front door you’ll hear the crack of balls on the pool tables, jingling bells from nearby arcade games, and cheers of people watching sporting events on the big screen TVs. There’s a large bar area nearby with a well-stocked Adult beverage selection, high-top tables and stools, and a ton of TVs all over the place. Nearby are pool tables and the restaurant area. To the back of the building is a large arcade area with traditional carnival-style games and a huge amount of electronic fun. You can race cars, splat zombies, roll skee balls, shoot some hoops, and just about every type of fun game that you can imagine. In many cases you earn tickets based upon your score, and then trade in the tickets for prizes at the end of the night. There’s a second bar area back in the arcade, which allows you to sip your favorite drink while acting like a little kid. I did not eat any of Dave & Buster’s food on this trip, but did enjoy a few frosty cold Adult beverages while spending a few hours in the arcade. Since it was a weeknight, the place wasn’t too crowded, and I was able to enjoy many of the games in the back room. Dave & Buster’s is a very fun place to spend the evening as part of a Happy Hour group, team-building function, or with a gathering of friends.

We came here on a Friday night. It was busy but not slammed when we arrived. Our server was very nice but she just didn’t seem to have it together. It too us over an hour to get our food. I ordered a snow cone drink and it was not blended at all just poured over ice. Super disappointed about that. Our drinks always ran dry and we had to pretty much BEG for new drinks if we happen to catch her walk by our table. We cleared the menus from our own table after our food came out since she kept forgetting them there. We got our own silverware since they brought only 1 set to us. There was a gentleman clearing tables and he took or finished plates as soon as he saw them. Another server apologized for our servers actions as she put napkins under our drinks. Saying«I’m so sorry we are just getting a little busy» It was the worst service I have had in a pretty long time. Having a 85 $ dinner(2 adults) out I would expect just a little bit more. Then we spent 30 $ on games. Overall we had fun just disappointed with the service we received. Will come back and try again. Maybe they were short staffed that’s why we were being ignored. Food 5 stars! Great job kitchen! Food was perfection!

I’ve never been to a Dave & Buster before moving to FL. I’ve been to this location 3 times. The first 2 times was just to play games, and the 3rd was for a company outing where we dined in. When you first arrive, there is a desk that you can purchase credits on a power play card. However when you go to the arcade section, there are machines where you can buy credits as well. If you don’t already have a card, there is a small activation fee. Overall the cost to play at the arcade is overpriced. You get more bang for your bucks going on a Wedn when the games are ½ off. I believe they have happy hours as well 4:30−7 pm, Mon — Fri. The some of the food was surprisingly good. We ordered several apps: pretzel dogs, spinach dip, calamari, pepperoni pretzel pull apart bread and mountain o’ nachos. The pretzel dogs were good, calamari was on the dry side, dip was too greasy, the bread was just OK. My favorite was definitely the nachos. I ordered the salmon and thought it was seasoned well. My coworkers ordered different items and I don’t remember what they all had but someone ordered a hamburger and she said the meat tasted pre made /frozen. One of the dish that looked good was the bang bang shrimp. There were two things incorrect with our order and the manager came out to apologize which was nice gesture. A popular drink with our group was the snowcones. They had flashing lights inside the drink which was fun. Cherry lime flavor was the preferred flavor. In addition to the arcade, they also had billiards. Fun times for adults, but not recommended for kids unless you go on a Wed since a $ 20 power play card will not last very long on reg days.

We took my son here for his 9th birthday. He had a blast with his friends running around and playing all of the games. I won the jackpot on a game so that was pretty fun. The food and menu are excellent. We tried the nachos. The meat and cheese combo on it was so tasty and seasoned well. It had sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, tomato and jalapeños on it. We got it all on the side for the picky kids. Then I had the maker’s Mark bbq burger. It was juicy and cooked well. My only complaint is that their internet connection is horrible in there. It sucked 13% of my battery just trying to check in on Unilocal

Arcade portion of facility was no different than any other Dave and Busters. All but one machine was working but repair guy was in process of repairing. 2 stars comes from the overall moral of staff. Majority of staff clearly appeared to hate their job. This location is missing the upbeat, enthusiastic staff that you would expect from a glorified arcade and other great locations. Hostess at greeter station walking in was the first negative experience. No hello, no warm welcome and not even a sincere hello after greeting her myself! Strike two was where you go to claim your prize. Again same negative energy from the worker. 3rd strike was the restaurant part of arcade. Hostess AGAIN not all that happy or enthusiastic. Cherry on top was our server. Literally everything you could expect from a bad restaurant experience. Server smelt like fresh cigarettes, she disappeared multiple times, long wait on both drink orders, 2nd order for drinks was from another server, side for sandwich came almost at end of meal along with a few extra minutes due to our servers obvious multiple smoke session. After all said and done the server apologized for the overall service and of course with some extra excuses. This visit was on a friday at 1pm, the place was not busy at all, no excuses here folks. I’m not the type to write a negative review, it truly takes a lot however, the family outing was not fulfilled with the good experiences I have got from other locations in the past. Best of luck to this location. 2 stars goes towards the working machines and clean environment. Not the staff that my family and I interacted with.

I went to Dave & Busters for the first time on Friday night for a baby shower & it was just ok. It was pretty busy and what you would expect for a Friday night. I was seated at a table with 5 others girls and was greeted pretty quickly by our server. I had ordered an angry orchard and I noticed it was a lot larger than normal. I found out later when I went to the bar that they have anywhere from 16oz-22oz but my server assumed I wanted the larger of the two. That was pretty irritating and just a way to have a higher price ticket without even confirming that’s what I wanted. I ate before I came so I didn’t order off the menu but everyone’s food around me looked pretty good. I did have a few of my friends loaded tator tots and they were good except there was very little cheese and bacon on them which was disappointing to her considering they were«loaded.» As far as the atmosphere, it reminded me a lot of Latitude 30 but a lot dirtier and a lot more ghetto. The bathroom was gross and just appeared old and needed some TLC. As far as the games, I only played beer pong, the Daytona racing and the basketball shooting. They were all pretty fun but not something I could do more than a hour. Overall, I think I would maybe try this place out one more time to give the food a chance and grab some drinks but not really into the games.

Um… no. We actually did the eat-and-drink-then-play-games thing. Service was terrible, food and drinks were«meh,» and prices were high like they were taken from the French Laundry menu. The games were fun, but it was a $ 150 adventure that reminded me of my last visit to a Chuck E Cheese, just with a better interior decorator.

Last night was my first experience at a Dave and busters. I had been told it’s «an adult chuck e cheese». OMG, that could not be more accurate. The building and over all setting is old and dark. I always pictured it being a really fun, bright and modern place but I WASWAYWRONG. Not a problem though. We started the night with drinks at the bar, spending about 2 hours there. My only concern there is that they could have used 1 or 2 more bartenders. We loaded up our cards and hit the games! Drunk gaming?! Hell yes. Are these games even more fun now that I’m drunk and also not paranoid of a giant mouse coming from around the corner? It was around 11:30 when we wanted to eat and get more drinks. We were seated in the dining area where we received great service! Split between three people we ordered this large tube of beer and I also ordered the watermelon margarita. I held off on the watermelon margarita earlier because it looked too sweet but it was more refreshing watermelon than too sugary tasting. My boyfriend and I split an order of wings and sweet potato fries, all good! The sweet potato fries were delicious. I tried some of the tater tots and would recommend those too. I wouldn’t be able to help decide between tots or sweet potato fries! After finishing our late night meal we headed back to the games for a bit before they closed at 1am. All was good and I got some shot glasses and funny sunglasses at the ticket store. Overall, good food and a night of entertainment. I really recommend getting some drinks, watching some sports and talking with your friends, go play some fun arcade games and then get a meal. This all depends on how hungry you are though! You can’t really eat and play games like how I pictured, so that’s my biggest tip!

Never have I had a bad experience here. A group of friends and myself got here when the doors opened on Sunday, expecting it to be busy but it wasn’t at all. I know they just opened but I figured that there would be quite a few people here to watch the Jaguars game and take advantage of the game day specials. That didn’t happen… yet. We decided to eat first then play games, you know, burn off what you ate. I got the Berry Berry Berry Tea, a variation of the Long Island Iced Tea with Blueberry, Acai, and Pomegranate in it. I’m a sucker for berries and this drink was delicious. I didn’t want to eat heavy because that would slow me down while kicking people’s butts in the games so I got the Balsamic Chicken and Vegetable Medley. Light and filling, it gave me the right amount of energy. Our server was very attentive and courteous. Event the manager came over to check on us. On to the games! The game room here doesn’t have extras the larger ones do, like bowling, but it still has a vast amount of games my favorite ones are Air Hockey, Basketball, Daytona USA racing and Trivia. I could stay there all day. We played until we ran out of chips and by that time the Jags fans were settling in around the bar and dining area. Time to go. I’ll be back for half-price games on Wednesdays.
