One of the worst Chinese buffets I’ve encountered in Jacksonville so far. The price for weekday buffet is very inexpensive and the food selection is moderate but almost none of them seems to be pleasing to my taste and looks like from the few reviews, it is the case with most of the people. I could only like the white rice and bourbon chicken. The fish felt stale, desserts looked something like you’d throw away and vegetables looked unappealing. Some of the usual looked downright disgusting and tasted equally bad. The staffs are friendly and place looks decent but that’s where good things stops. Please don’t go here for food.

Why, oh why did I eat lunch here? The buffet had your typical items served at Chinese Buffets. When we arrived at the door we were told to seat ourself. The waitress came by asked for our drink order. She disappeared quickly. She wasn’t friendly but she wasn’t mean, she was nonchalant and so was her tip. The food appeared NOT appetizing at all! I ate Pepper Steak and Onions which I usually luv to chow down on however the steak was extra chewy. Yes there were a few pieces that I had to fold up in a napkin(catch my drift). I didn’t return to the buffet for any more servings. I’m good on this restaurant. So the hunt is on for decent Chinese cuisine.

Why is, literally, EVERYTHING on the buffet sweet? And the selection is pretty narrow.too. This is probably the worst Chinese buffet I’ve ever been to. Surely there are better options in the area.

Maybe it was the time of day or that I wasn’t starving; however, there are far better buffets. I’m new to Jacksonville so thought I’d give it a try. I like a lot of vegetables and seafood; there weren’t many options. A lot of the food had been sitting there a while and pans almost empty. The clams were very salty. The only thing I really like was the sweet and sour soup. Try somewhere else; I’m going to!

Don’t waste a dime in this retaurant!!! Like the other reviewer said, if I could give it a half star, I would. They charge $ 10.99 pp plus tax and we were there for lunch. If you include the crab legs, that is an extra $ 6.00! Sure they have a so called sushi bar, but it was about 5 trays of not so fresh looking sushi. The signs at the sushi bar either says artificial or imitation ingredients. They did not look appetizing at all. They don’t have a Mongolian bar either. The selection of food is far less than what other Chinese Buffets offer. I witnessed a woman employee who came from the kitchen carrying a pitcher of steaming hot water and poured the water in the steamed salmon tray. I am guessing because the sauce was all dried up already. Then she did the same thing for the stuffed shrimps. I got up to see and sure enough the salmon was bathing in the hot water and so were the shrimps. That was a bit too much for me and my husband. I was so turned off by this place. This was our first time to visit and our last. Horrible, horrible experience!!!

We’ve eaten here several times and I’m still unsure of why we kept returning. The first experience was awful, as was every experience after that. We finally wised up and we’ll never come here again. I could attempt to list the things on the buffet. But it’s a Chinese buffet, so you should be able to get a pretty good idea of what’s offered. Because of that reason, I’m not going to attempt it. Nothing I’ve had from the buffet has been good here. I literally mean NOTHING. Every single item on the buffet looks as if it’s been sitting under the heating lamps forever and doesn’t even look appealing. It takes them forever to put fresh food out. Even when they do put fresh food out, it still doesn’t even look appealing. Not only does it all look unappealing, but it tastes pretty bad too. I don’t eat sushi, but if I did, I most definitely wouldn’t eat it from here. I have friends who eat sushi and I know what it is suppose to look like. Whatever they have going on here is NOT what sushi is suppose to look like. That’s a scary, scary thing, people! The place looks clean enough, I suppose, but that’s about all it has going for it. Service is blah. A waitress comes, takes your drink order, brings the drink order, brings your check. The end. If you want a refill, you’re going to have to flag someone down and ask for it, or even get up with your cup and go find someone and ask for a refill. Do yourself and your family a favour and take my sound advice: STAYAWAY!

If I could give a half star I would. It’s was awful and the experience was blah. I’d consider this place an insult to Asian cuisine. The staff was nice but it couldn’t make up for the poor tasting food. I’d rather eat food of the floor at the local amc than ever go back and spend a dime there.

This buffet is the best option I’ve found on northside. The boy loves him some all u can eat crawfish so I get dragged here. The sushi isn’t high quality and is limited so steer clear. My favs r the black pepper chicken, egg rolls, cheese puffs. They do have oysters but that scares me to try on a buffet as I prefer to not get poisoned. There are at least 5 buffet tables set up. The wait staff is nice.
