Checkers 6198

Was desesrately hungry and unforntately the staff at Burger King up the street had just announced that their system had crashed while I was in the drive-​thru. All I wanted was a burger and fries and I didn’t want to get out my car. Lazy, I know, but it was a holiday and I do what I want ha! So not having eaten at Checkers in a long time I decided to give it a chance. Pulled up to the menu with no lines, no waiting. Picked out the #4, a cheeseburger, medium fries and a medium sweet tea. The fries were considered a medium portion while the drink must’ve been about a 32oz cup. Wow. It’s a pretty good value compared to other fast-​food chains. The food is good and the service was excellent.

Swung through here after bringing my husband to the doctor’s a few blocks away. He had to fast beforehand, and was now starving. I chose this Checker’s due to convenience of location and affordability. The parking lot is just «ok», but that is out of their control obviously, since they are located in front of a shopping mall strip. The building and menu boards were in good condition and no trash was laying around in the general vicinity of Checker’s. The lady at the window seemed pleasant enough.
Food came out of the window at a reasonable rate, super hot and fresh — they had just made the burger and the fries were literally right out of the fryer and could not be handled. My husband said the burger was delicious — whether hunger flavored it or it really was that good, I don’t know. I do know it smelled fantastic. LOL
