I go here regularly for take out pizza and have always been happy. The staff are some of the friendliest I’ve seen at a pizza shop; they know me by name. I like to get their pepperoni pizza. It’s a NY style pizza with good flavor all around. I especially enjoy the crust. It comes out crispy and flavorful; never burnt tasting. Also, not once have I received something on my pizza that wasn’t supposed to be there. I’m not sure if I go at off hours or off days or what, but I’m really surprised I don’t see more people here. It’s a good pizza, I would give it a try!

Very disappointing Parmesan, eggplant and chicken, both were awful. Cold, lacking flavor and texture, too much breading, sauce was like slightly thinned tomato paste.

My wife and I have ordered take-out pizza twice now from Bruccis on Gate Pkwy Their people are very nice, order is ready when they said and the Pizzas are some of the best in the area. We would recommend ordering pizzas well done though

Great little spot! I loved the food. This is one of four locations in Jacksonville. We started with the cheesy bread stix appetizer and it was very cheesy. Highly recommend it to anyone! I then had a spinach salad that was very fresh. For our main course, we had an exclusive item for the location: the Garlic Pizza(mozzarella pizza with olive oil, garlic, spinach and tomatoes) that was incredible! It was a live music night which I think they have five nights a week that made the atmosphere like a local coffee shop that I loved. Thursday they have a «slice night» deal where cheese slices, draft beer, and wine are all $ 1 from 4 – 10. Wish I had come for that! But I made it for their happy hour that’s every other day 4 – 7 with nice deals on beer. I had a Yuengling draft(they also have Miller Light, Blue Moon, Sam Adams, Raging Blonde, and Double Overhead IPA on draft; Bud, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Stella, Corona, and Coors Light in bottles). Lots of wine options too but I did not try any. Overall great place with awesome food and perfect service. Christina was the best for our table — made us feel like family!

Have to give these guys 5 stars… Walked in tonight while a band was playing(good band too). The folks at the front counter made me feel like I was back home. I enjoyed chatting with the owner/chef while he made up my pies. Make sure you check them out! I hear they have $ 1.00 slices and beer on Thursday too.

I discovered this gem, while in the area, on biz. I had a calzone and it was awesome. The ingredients are top notch and the marinara sauce was delicious. I highly recommend the place. I’ll certainly eat there again, when I’m back in the area.

Not a bad spot! It’s a 3.5-star that I rounded down. I came here on a recommendation from a friend, and tried the Gourmet(minus the olives – yuck!) and was pleased. There wasn’t anything mind-blowing, but it was definitely a good experience for the price I paid.

They have gluten free pizza crusts! But only for 12″ pizzas. But damn it’s good. Also had a regular pizza(pointe vedra). Super tasty with fresh ingredients. Pizza was made fresh and by hand. Great find in this mini mall off the highway.

This place is awesome! We had never been there before but were looking for a new place to eat close to my friend’s apt. There was great live music playing and they had our pizza done in 10 minutes! This is hands down one of the best NY style pizzas I have ever had. The staff was very friendly and they helped me get all the food to my car. You need to go eat at this place!

I am so glad to finally have a Brucci’s close to my home. Husband got the lasagna, and he said it was good, and he loved it. I got a ham and mushroom calzone, which was pretty good. They have live music on certain nights of the week, and no kids night, which is awesome in my book!!! Come on Baymeadows and Southside people and support your newest pizza place. We no longer have to drive to ponte vedra or beach and hodges to get Brucci’s!!! Okay, just got home and dove into my to go tiramisu… AEWSOME!!!

If you have experienced the prior two laughable pizza joints in this location(Pompeii and Joey’s) and you’re shaking your head and saying«not another one», let me warn you. The ghost of bad pizza past has left the building! This is a true pizzeria that serves the real deal. We were in the area around 9pm last night and drove up to a many tables listening to the one and only Mike Shakleford. The«open» light was still on, so we went in and asked if the restaurant was still seating customers. The waitress said absolutely and we picked a booth. Ben, our waiter stopped by and welcomed us to Brucci’s and took our drink order. When he returned he asked if we had any questions. I told him we eat at the Julington Creek location all the time and was familiar with the menu. So we got down to business and ordered 2 house salads and a medium«thin crust» pizza. Our salads were over-flowing from the bowl and consisted of lettuce, spinach, black olives, tomatoes, green bell peppers and mozzarella cheese on top. The pizza arrived burning hot right from the oven. The crust was NY-style thin, but with that just right crunchy bottom. The test is when you pick up a slice and either the pointed end falls down dropping all your toppings, or it stay straight. This pizza was like it was in a Viagara commercial. :) Ben stopped by several times to ensure our food and experience was great and to kept our drinks filled. Do yourself a favor, don’t consider Brucci’s as just another pizzeria that opened here again. Consider the other two tried to fool you with their attempt to serve quality food. This location is highly recommended. And listening to live music is just another bonus to a successful restaurant.

A home-town pizza place with beer and wine. What makes this place outstanding is it has music. Music, wine, AND, pizza. This location has an eggplant panini which I love. The spinach salad is my standby and it always has a generous amount of feta and sun-dried tomatoes. Brucci’s is a chain. I have been to 3 locations in Jacksonville and they are good at being consistent with food and service. Waitstaff here is pleasant and efficient. The couple who owns Gateway Bruccis is always friendly and attentive. He is a musician and plays on Wednesday nights along with other musicians. They have regular high-quality acoustic music with good sound.
