Since I was blessed with a grandson and a granddaughter this year, I stop by here nearly every time I’m at the Town Centre just to see what baby clothing they may have on sale. They have some pretty good deal sometimes. Why the 2 stars? ~ It’s basically impossible to find an employee here for assistance. As a matter of fact, I’ve given up every time and ended up with zero assistance. ~ The check-out lines are horrible. There’s usually only one register open and it takes forever to check-out. ~ I’m not sure if it’s because this Babies R Us is connected to Toys R Us, but it’s definitely smaller than other Babies R Us I’ve been in and the selection just isn’t as large. ~ While I’ve not personally registered here, I feel sorry for the pregnant women wanting to register because I’ve not once seen anyone at the desk for registering, and as mentioned above, good luck finding an employee. Even though I can find some good deals on baby clothing here, it’s getting to the point where I just don’t want to come here anymore. I’d really rather stick to Carter’s, Gymboree, and Belk.

I’ve had to go to this store several times since my wife has been pregnant. We received gift cards from Babies R Us. I found the lines to checkout to be long and the cashiers to lack personality and friendliness on multiple occasions(I wouldn’t mention this if it were an isolated incident). It’s easy to rate this since we were registered at the nearby Buy Buy Baby and received really good service from them every time we went. I think I’ll stick to the competition moving forward(especially since Buy Buy Baby takes expired Bed Bath and Beyond coupons!).

This for the family rest room. I was there with my 1 month old and he had pooped pretty bad. I went by myself to change him. I had him in my ring sling and one hand carried wipes and a diaper. I had to push the door multiple times to open it! The door seemed jammed! I was annoyed because I thought of the other moms who don’t have a ring sling and hands free like me that can’t open the door. I entered and was totally grossed out! It smelled and just looked messy. The tables cleanliness questionable. I’m a ICU nurse in a way older hospital my rooms are cleaner. I’d rather nurse my baby in the car then in there. Oh the smell.

My husband and I have been at the Babies R Us at the Town Center more then I ever thought we would this past month. Guess that comes with the having a baby territory. Everytime we’ve gone in, the staff has always been very friendly and will ask if we need any help. We recently bought our crib and mattress there. Josh is the person that helped us and he was very informative about all the products. He also made sure we saved some money, which is always appreciated. He let us know that there was a 20% off coupon for the products we were buying plus if we wanted to sign up for a credit card, it would give us another 15% off. 35% off of this expensive stuff is like gold! When we bought everything, he also made sure to add the items to our registry as your purchases from your registry add up in the end. There’s some deal they do that you get a gift card up to $ 200.00 after the baby is due, which is calculated by how much stuff is bought from the registry. The store is always clean and seems to be well stocked. They always have sales going on, especially on baby clothing. Also a plus, this store has maternity clothing and it’s always 70% off! Every pair of pants I’ve bought from there has been around 10 bucks. Can’t beat that. Some people may feel this store jacks there prices up, which I’m not going to completely deny. If you do your research on coupons and sales, you can really save a lot of money and get some great deals!

The worst store in Jacksonville. I got a 15% off coupon online without a bar code. It said the code has too be put in the cash register. The uneducated and rude cashier was awful. First she said without scanning the coupon she could not push it through. I showed her the bill from the following day were the manager used it. She still proceeded to yell at me and rude. When another employee said too go ahead and use the coupon. She was miraculous able too use it. She then tried too belittle me as I was walking out. Be careful using another stores coupons also, they will try too scan another stores coupon. How ignorant to think they can actually scan another stores coupon … The stores are different. In short bad cashiers, awful coupon policy’s. I will stick to buy buy baby…

Every time I come in there is 1 register open and several people waiting to check out. Come on now, huge store, both babies and toys r us, located in the town center and 1 register open? I understand if its a slow day but obviously if its been like this every time Ive shopped for 3 years and at various times, will not go back unless I get a gift card.

Three months and counting until the arrival of our first child. So many things to get but so many brands to choice from. My mother volunteered to purchase the stroller and car seat. We actually were able to hit a sell on the items we wanted which was a savings of $ 80. The sales associate was helpful with showing us the different functions. She tried to tell us the travel system was the better deal at $ 329 but when you purchase each item separate it was $ 150 each. She didn’t understand it but I did so we just walked away. I am always looking to save a few buckets anyway I can. The store wasn’t crowded and lines were average made for an easy shopping experience.

Try opening some lines up for such a large store. Spent 3 times as long as it took to find what I was buying as it took to buy them.

Too bad there is not a lower rating available for this store as it surely earned it. We received a 20% off one– item coupon and happily went shopping for our granddaughter. After waiting in a ridiculous line to check out(of 18 available registers, 2 were open) we purchased 5 items totalling more than $ 40 and gave the clerk our coupon. It was not until later that we carefully checked the receipt. The cheapest item we purchased was $ 3.99 and the most expensive was $ 24.99. The coupon had been applied to the $ 3.99 purchase and our super discount was $ 1.00 ! Subsequently we were told this is the policy of Babies’R US .i.e., apply any discount to the cheapest item. Ridiculous! We returned all the items and bought from Amazon for much cheaper and free shipping. I also observed another misleading sales practice: the customer ahead of us purchased beige colored socks which she said were on sale for $ 1. The cashier immediately turned on her walky and called for a runner to check the price. The runner informed the cashier only blue and red socks were on sale although all colors were included in the display. the runner stated the customer did not read the fine print. On a separate visit, we encountered a similar situation where a display indicated a shirt was on sale only to find out during check out, the ‘sale sign’ was in the wrong place. Babies’r Us is one of the worst retailers around. the sales practices are misleading, the employees treat customers like criminals and the check-out is long and miserable. More like TSA airport screening than retail check-out. I plan to avoid this store if possible. If not, proceed with caution!-
