Stay away from this place. I noticed that another review was identical to my experience. I was told that I needed either an engine rebuild or engine replacement. All it needed was the water pump. Cost me less than $ 100. AAMCO wanted $ 500 just to take the engine apart and assess the damages. Afterwords day were going to recommend either a rebuild or replacement engine. It would’ve cost thousands. Thankfully, I had a mechanic friend take a look at it before I agreed to anything.

Stay away. First rebuild failed within 2 weeks, second rebuild lasted long enough to kill the warranty. Think of this; both times the transmission failed I was in traffic(once on I-95, managed to exit the highway thankfully; the second time I was A1A(CAMETO A FULLANDCOMPLETESTOPWITHTIRESSCREECHING– IMAGINEIFTHISHADHAPPENEDONBUTLER, WITHSEMIS… an episode of «C.H.I.P.S.»??? The best advice I’ve found since then, is to use a local INDEPENDENT shop(not a national chain) that SPECIALIZES in your type of vehicle ANDHASGOODRATINGS. The warranty is as long and the service and expertise is much better and I got it for about 1⁄3 of the price. Imagine.

No one likes getting car work done, but Mark and his team make it slightly less painful. I have gone in several times for everything from an oil change to engine work and, let’s face, while it car repairs are expensive, I know that Mark will give it to me straight. They even offer a free«second opinion.» My only complaint(and the reason they got 3 stars instead of 4) is that their hourly labor charge is about $ 15-$ 20 per hour higher than their competitors.

Girl at work just took her car there… boom they told her her ENGINEWASSHOT because she had an OILLEAK… elsewhere replaced the OILPANGASKET and her car runs great. Thanks again for the attempt to rip people off… Ask anyone around you when you need to get your car repaired… find a decent mechanic… it is like finding a decent doctor… very important…
