A1A Overhead Door Company

After dealing with multiple garage door repair companies in the past I’ve been really impressed by the staff at A1A. They are clear and patient on the phone and prompt on arrival. Unlike some other repair companies, they don’t use ‘bait and switch’ pricing to try and lure you in. Just good honest folks that are a pleasure to do business with.

When we moved into our house, I had a good feeling our garage was eventually going to need to have some work done on it. I could just hear it.
Sure enough. I was right. One day the steel bar in the center gave out. We were stuck. Thank goodness I work from home and didn’t have anywhere to be. Got a recommendation from my dad about A1A Overhead. Company name sounded familiar; I think they possibly also serviced the condo where I used to live. They made an appointment for the next day and were on time.
The technician did his assessment and provided me an estimate of what we needed done. Considering we live at the beach, it was no surprise our springs needed replacing. I’d have to dig out the bill to remember what our final estimate was, but I do remember being satisfied with the cost of what he was going to work on for us. Some of the supports across the door were bent and had to be straightened along with replacing the springs.
Oh and that steel bar? Apparently he’s NEVER seen one broken and was so impressed that ours did break and that something else hadn’t given out sooner that he replaced that part for free. Just wish I would have thought to have him figure out why the light doesn’t stay on when we open the garage door. Maybe next time.
