Today I guest I was kind of reminiscing. I stopped by the old lifeguard station. Where I spent 4 years helping to guard Jax Beach. According to the American Red Cross Jacksonville Beach is the world’s safest beach. This place is deep with tradition since it started back in 1912. The corps really take keeping everyone who comes to the beach safe and out of harms way. I can even still recite the names of all the towers from north to south. That was a most in my recruit class of 77. So maybe I’ll come back on opening day of the beaches where everyone can tour the building. Oh the memories this building has for me and may others.
