Mother Lode Deli and Catering catered my daughters wedding on June 4,2016 at the Heirloom Inn in Ione. The food, service, and value were so far above what I expected. It truly tasted like you were eating at a fine dining establishment. The food is amazing. The service was fantastic. The value is tremendous, the prices are so reasonable, less than half of what we were quoted by several other caterers. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food. And that’s saying a lot, because we have quite a few very picky eaters and it was also the hottest day of the year and people still went back for more. I will definitely use Mother Lode Catering again and I have already recommended them to several people.

We hit the mother lode with Mother Lode Catering at our daughter’s wedding in Cloverdale Calif! The food and service were exceptional and all the wedding guests raved about how delicious everything was. From cocktail hour through an amazing dinner, Mother Lode took care of us. We hired Motherlode Catering to cater our wedding on September 26^th at the Heirloom Inn in Ione, CA. The food was absolutely spectacular! Our guests could not stop telling us how delicious the Tri-​tip with the Gorgonzola sauce or the Chicken Piccata were. We also had the Couscous, spinach salad and grilled vegetables. For appetizers, we had bacon wrapped chestnuts and a crostini. Everything was amazing! They are very reasonably priced for the quality of the food! You would think we spent $ 60 bucks per person just because everything was so delicious! We would recommend the to anyone in a heart beat!

Used this catering company for my wedding in Ione and was very pleased. Their prices are affordable and the food is top notch. Pretty good selection, too. Also very accommodating for special requests and willing to work with your budget. Sometimes Nick, the owner, is a little hard to get a hold of, which can be very stressful on a bride, but he always came through. I would definitely recommend them for anyone needing catering in amador county!

I hired Mother Lode to do the catering for our wedding at the Heirloom Inn. They set up an amazing tasting for us. The food was so good that it was hard to choose. They were incredibly flexible with making modifications and adding on extra items. They did some off the menu items for us that came out just as I had wanted. Their prices were so reasonable that I was able to order plenty of extra food. To top it off, they even set aside a bunch of food for us to have appetizers after the ceremony before going out to all of the guests. And they brought more in for us and checked on us as well. They were amazing to work with and everyone loved the food. They even packaged all the left overs for us to eat after the honeymoon. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!!! Are there more stars to give?

If you need something catered near Jackson and you don’t use Mother Lode… You are making a mistake!!!
They catered our wedding back in July and people talk about the food! It was soooo good.
We did a cocktail hour before the wedding and they were great, even did a special menu for us without didn’t charge an arm and a leg. Seriously, you won’t find a better deal anywhere in Northern Cali.
After dinner, the owner Nick flagged my sister (the MoH) down to ask what they should do with the extra food. She had no idea. So he and his staff boxed it up and set it aside for my husband and I and the bridal party to take back to our hotels. Silly example, but they went above and beyond the call of duty at every turn.
Amazing food, amazing people and amazing prices. Thank you Mother Lode — you nailed it!

Nick from Mother Lode Deli catered our wedding and rehearsal dinner up at the HideOut and in Kirkwood in August (2012). He worked with us well in advance to create the menu that we wanted (carnitas and chicken tacos with all the fixins, cilantro lime rice, black beans, etc.), and was not phased when we told him that we wanted to make the salsa and guacamole ourselves (yes, we made 5 gallons of guacamole on our wedding day!). My friends and I have a few dietary requirements, and he was happy to work around them.
At first he met with us at the Deli on a day when it was closed, made us sandwiches and chatted with us about what we were interested in serving. Then, when we had decided on a menu we came back and he cooked us a *yummy* sampling.
He and his crew worked very hard to make both events a great success. Our guests enjoyed both meals and we heard plenty of compliments. Plus, he is genuinely a nice, laid back guy. We definitely recommend Nick and the folks at Mother Lode!

PERFECT 10 CATERERS!
Nick and his crew catered our wedding at The HideOut this past weekend and they were absolutely FANTASTIC! First and foremost, the food was mouth watering and delicious; we received so many compliments on how the food was the best wedding food our guests had ever had. Nick grilled onsite and the aroma was just divine. Their presentation of the buffet table was well thought out and they were able to keep the food hot (which, in my opinion, is super important). I am a vegetarian and my husband loves meat, so Nick went out of his way to make sure we had a good balance of meat and meat-​free options on our menu. Also, we had several gluten-​free vegans at our wedding and Nick brought and grilled portabello mushrooms for them with out me even asking (to be honest, I didn’t even think of that, but he did!). The servers were very friendly and efficient, they all were very polished and dressed nicely. The Mother Lode crew worked like clockwork as they set-​up, prepped the appetizer and dinner stations, and cleaned up. If you are looking for a professional, reasonably priced catering company, definitely consider Mother Lode in Jackson! :)

This afternoon, our family members were guests at a wedding in Ione, California.
The weather was extremely hot, but the wedding was lovely, the location unique, and the food FABULOUS! After the wedding we spoke with the bride’s parents and they told us about Mother Lode Catering of Jackson, California.
The food began with appetizers consisting of encrusted shrimp in a dipping sauce, artichoke and cheese dip with crackers and breads and grilled chicken skewers with chili sauce. They were amazing.
For dinner, there was Caesar salad, fruit salad, sliced artisan breads, grilled asparagus spears, an Italian version of cordon bleu chicken with pancetta, and medallions of beef wrapped in bacon! The food was amazingly delicious. It was all so fresh and tasty.
The bride’s father told me when they were looking for a caterer for their daughter’s wedding, Mother Lode Catering was more than accommodating and prepared a mini tasting feast for them of each item that could be ordered for their daughter’s day.
I found out later that one of the wedding guests had special dietary needs and for her, a special plate was prepared at no extra charge! Now that’s service.
So if you’re in the northern part of the Central Valley and are in need of a first class caterer, I would be the first to suggest Mother Lode Catering.
