Run of the mill, par for the course dining. Bob Evans doesn’t hold the appeal it once did for me but is safe enough when I don’t have time or desire to look for something else. This location was just OK.

We were on our way to Jacksonville Florida when we stopped here. I have a VERY picky egg eater. I usually only eat eggs if my mom or husband cook them. I took a chance and ordered eggs from this location and for the first time in 20+ years Bob Evans got them right! I was so impressed by this feat that I had to write them a review! The waitress was great, and on top of everything! If your passing threw or even in the area this location is a good stop!

The food is good, but the prices are way more then I wanna pay for a family of five. It’s still a nice alternative to fast food.

If you are there for breakfast, you are in for a good fare. However, their dinner menu leaves much to be desired. My last dinner with my family of four was less than appetizing. Soggy bread, soggy fries, and did not get part of my order. It was freezing cold in the restaurant. The staff I know that works there are sweet and have always been polite even to customers who were being rude.

Needs new management! One the day we were there, the(very nice) wait staff was clearly trying to run the restaurant by themselves. Even when a young child threw up at the booth next to ours, the manager made a brief appearance before returning to the back room. Somebody from HQ needs to drop in unexpected, listen to the servers, and fire one or more managers. As for me, I’ll be checking out the new LaRosa’s Pizza on my next drive through Jackson.

Bob Evans is one of the few restaurants in Jackson where you can get a sitdown breakfast, which makes it worth having around. The food is «homestyle» but over the years i think it has started tasting more and more processed. Still, it’s hard to ruin eggs and bacon. It doesn’t take too long to get a seat in here and the bathrooms are kept clean. For breakfast I’d suggest the banana bread and yogurt, and for lunch and dinner I like the chicken strips with mashed potatoes.

I was at Bob Evans on Saturday 1-24-2009 for dinner waited over 50 minutes before we got our food the waitress was horrible completely ignored us the entire time. Had the ask other waitress to get our food. The waitress didn’t even show up with our check. The worse service I ever had at a restaurant.
