Stopped in here and it was the best decision we made all day! Got the daily special sandwich: turkey on their oat molasses bread with hummus, roasted red peppers, cheddar, and fresh spinach. Seriously the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Seriously! I had an iced coffee with it, which was perfect! Got a hot maple latte to go(since it was below zero outside!) and it was deeeeelicious! Hit the spot, for sure! Other orders in my party: kids grilled cheese(apparently the cheesiest, tastiest one on the planet) and an everything bagel sandwich with egg and sausage. A fresh blueberry muffin, too. No complaints — just ooohs and aaaahs! I’ll come back every time I’m back up north.

THe best cran-apple pie ever. The pie was tasty and done to perfection. The other bakery items looked awesome.

Great food! Great service, friendly staff, cozy seating. J town deli was my go to before but I think this is my new favorite breakfast lunch spot in Jackson!

Warm croissants, nice coffee, other offerings looked fresh too. Not bad for a Sunday morning. Would go again.

Yummy tea lattes in a cute little setting. I got a delicious little earl grey tea with sugar-free syrup and was in heaven.

Backcountry is the best café in Jackson. The Americano I had today was great and the kids loved the donuts. I haven’t tried the food but overall I have been very pleased.

I was torn between two and three stars, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. My mocha was undrinkable. I did have a very nice peach muffin and my daughter had a great cinnamon roll. The space is nice and the women working there were nice too. Doesn’t open until 8:00.

This little bakery is tucked in a quaint little town setting. The inside is bright and welcoming & the outside patio invites you to sit awhile and try the many delicious treats. My husband and I especially enjoyed the strawberry cupcakes and amazing chocolate chip cookies! Definitely will be stopping here again this summer!

Yummy sandwiches and pasty’s, be sure to try their Baklava. Raspberry Hot Chocolate is to die for. They have southern buttermilk bisquets on the weekends, which can sell out fast. They also have Gluten Free Bread. Their a little on the pricey side, but its worth it.

Cool spot in Jackson Village to grab a coffee and sandwich. Their iced coffee was pretty good, and they offer espresso and tea beverages as well. They have lots of snacks, sandwiches, and baked goods(including all day breakfast sandwiches!) to choose from. I had their hummus sandwich which comes with house made hummus, veggies, on some pretty tasty toasted bread. Another great feature of this café is their selection of local books including the history of the white mountains, hiking guides, and photography books. You can browse through a book on the myths and legends of the Whites while noshing on an egg sandwich, nothing wrong with that. Cute, tasty, and convenient to all of the Jackson B&Bs, I would highly recommend stopping by one of Backcountry’s locations when in the Jackson area.
