Literally hidden in the corner bodega on 80th street with solid ceviche, Veracruz-style. Fresh and spicy white-fish with diced tomatoes, cilantro and onions — crunchy tostada holding everything together. Takes me back to all the street food I ate in downtown Cancun. Specialty is Cocteles or Mexican Seafood cocktails — definitely worth a try. Also only place in Elmhurst to get grilled fish tacos and seafood tostadas on the cheap.

I think this place is brand new — and you really have to work to find it, but it’s worth it. Go into the bodega on the southeast corner on Roosevelt Avenue, all the way in the back, and you’ll find an awesome little taco stand. They specialize, as the name suggests, in seafood, especially shrimp. The fish tacos are an amazing value; the ceviche is excellent; and the shrimp cocktail is one of the best I’ve had. Bottom line: this place is legit.
