I called two days ago to update my billing information — to tell them I’d opened an account with a new bank, and that I would be sending a check from my new account. Thankfully I got the name of the guy who blithely told me that he’d take care of it, that it wouldn’t be taken out of my older account. Well, today I discovered that he dropped the ball. Now I have to make sure that they don’t cash the check, as well — and that my old account, which is now down an unexpected amount, doesn’t bounce anything. Sheesh. Just not impressive.
