Beautiful day at one of my favorite places in Islamorada, Key west, for a true Florida Keys experience, you need to spend some quality time at the unique Tiki bar, I lived here in the Keys and I have the best memories! ;) Great views, lost of water activities, multiple bars, and restaurants, live music, the beach is fantastic, hammocks, umbrellas, swimming pool, great place to relax, this property is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. ;) I loveeeeeeeeeee this place peaceful and beautiful!

This classic spot has changed so much from the last time I was there. Feeling a little bit conflicted on what exactly it has become because the bars that were attached to this spot are gone hopefully they are remodeling and making a bigger and better spot. The hotel next to Tiki bar is now called Post Card Inn and has many rules you can definitely walk around the property but to a certain limit. There is no access to the beach unless you are staying there or the pool area. The drinks and food are alright but not worth it when there are so many places that offer so much like, beach access and some live music with a place to dance and enjoy yourself with family. I’m going to give this place three stars because I’m not feeling the love anymore. Hopefully they will get this place back to that fun spot I remember and love.

Been coming here for years when they had previous owners. Use to have so much fun here with the reggae band, pool and beach access, the many different bars including the tiki bar, rum runner bar, and the bars by the pool and band. Was also very cool to come here for memorial day weekend and bartenders bash. That’s all changed now. Sure the hotel has been renovated and name changed, but they took away beach and pool access unless your an actual hotel guest. The took away the stage and bars where the reggae band use to play, they took away even two of the places that served food and hell they even took away the big shark that use to greet you. I was even more disappointed to see they tore down the tiki bar, but they did say they would rebuild. The thing is it use to be so much fun to come here and just hang out, drink, eat, and dance, they don’t even have bartenders bash here anymore. This place may look refreshed but it’s lost its touch, we only stopped by to kill time. Sure the drinks were still good but nothing I can’t get from the next bar(I had a Piña colada with an extra shot). I have great memories at this place but until they loosen up I will not be back.

We keep coming to the Tiki Bar for one thing only. The Rum Runners! Make the drive from South Florida and stop at this destination. You won’t be disappointed at all. They also have great food as you sit by the water sipping on your Rum Runner. Try the key line rum runner too. It takes like a slice of key lime pie! Order a side of conch fritters and you’ll be one happy tourist. PS. Order the rum runner with an extra shot to kick start your buzz.
