Very cool little place near my office. Tucked in a strip mall/industrial park it’s truly a gem and the food will not disappoint. I’ve been there twice this week already.

Great little place in the middle of a nondescript business park. It’s much more than a café, just LOOK at that extensive menu! I came in on a weekday for lunch since I work in the area, and even though it was a tiny hidden place, it was bustling! It’s clear I stumbled onto something here. I went with the beef rib-eye pasta, it was really tasty! The meat was good quality, the sauce was flavorful, and the penne pasta was cooked perfectly. I’d definitely order it again. Coworker got the mushroom bowtie pasta, and that was also really tasty. I can’t wait to try some more of their creations! What I want to point out, however, is how sweet the owners are. They are why I’m giving their place 5 stars. For such a huge menu and for how hard they work at their little café, they are EXTREMELY gracious and unbelievably kind. Seriously, to work that hard and still give you that kind of positive energy all day? This is what is going to keep me coming back. Irwindale needs more places like this. Heck, California needs more places like this!

I really like this place for dining in but don’t like owners who yell at their staff with customers in the dining room. This has happened on many occasions. I’d rate it 4 stars, but the yelling loud enough for customers to hear is worth one less star. Parking is easy, paninis and salads are delicious, and the staff is friendly to customers.

Food was great, service was good, and the atmosphere was very chill. All they need is a good barista and better pastries to be a 5 star café in my opinion. Cookie was terrible, worst cookie ever. No cappucinos or lattes :(

Food quality is good but you don’t get a lot of meat. Ordered a chicken and potato stir fry. I got mostly veggies and very little chicken. If I was a vegetarian or a rabbit that would be great.

The two friends I went with rated their apple walnut and Chinese chicken salads off the chart along with the brownies. I give the vegetable curry a 5 for the curry sauce and a two for the rest. Mostly potatoes with a couple of bits of carrot and celery on a bed of undercooked brown rice with three large slices of ginger which I was able to pick out before eating. It was a special too, very disappointed. Next time a salad and didn’t see the garlic fries so will ask for them too. Service great and friendly.

GARLICFRIES!!! everything in on the menu is really good. I am a fan of the Thai Chicken Wrap. I should only eat it with the side of fruit that I usually comes with but its hard to say no to the GARLICFRIES!!! consumer beware you will smell like garlic the entire day and nearby co-workers will try to steal your fries. its a bit pricy but the food is well worth the cost.

This place is kind of hidden in a business area just so everyone knows. More than enough parking for everyone. The owner actually came into my work and told me about the place. I didnt even know it was there. The owner Gary invited me to go try it out and he suggested the southwest cobb salad i believe and it was one of the freshest and perfect salads I have ever had. It wasnt your average salad where everythings just thrown in and mixed. It was perfect down to the very last bacon bit on top. I wish i took a photo. The place is very clean and when a place is clean and the food tastes super fresh, theres no need go anywhere else. It gets pretty busy during lunch. You can call in your order and when you open that to go box it will be just as good. They put the dressing on the side so your greens dont get soggy.

Cute little café with a menu consisting of salads, sandwiches, paninis, pasta, and a few specials. I ordered the Cuban Panini and it was very good with the right balance of mustard and pickle. It took about 10 min for food to come out and the server was very nice.

Great customer service and warm and friendly staff! Went here on a whim with a group of girls for a celebration, and the hostess was super sweet! She welcomed us with a warm smile and even gave us free cookies for the celebration. I heard that the sandwiches my friends ordered were really good. My salad was pretty good although the almonds tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. Will definitely be back!

Cute little café with friendly service. The staff isn’t too professional though; if they don’t have change, they will«owe» you later. You can never trust that. That’s just an FYI if you only have cash. I like that the food is filling but it takes way too long to come out.

I have been eating here for a few years now, and this place rarely ever disappoints. They have very friendly and fast service, with excellent food quality… The food is a bit pricey, but it is well worth the investment. One of my favorite things to order is «The Rene Special». It’s a chicken sandwich on sourdough, with provolone cheese, basil, and marinara sauce. It’s not on the menu, so you have to know what’s up to order it. Their orange chicken and their burgers are also delicious. Did I mention they sell breakfast too? If you make it before 10:30am, try the french toast. It’s the best I have ever had. I love coming to this place, and I am so lucky it is right next door to my job. I recommend this spot to everyone.

Café Notrellis is a nice lunch spot for the very industrial Irwindale. It has a very cute café feel inside with a nice little outdoor sitting area. The patio with the greenery makes it feel more like a garden and less like you’re sitting in front of a parking lot. Veggie Panini — Ooey Gooey Panini sandwich full of grilled veggies and provolone. The panini is a bit messy but it’s a very tasty sandwich. It also came on a round roll rather than two slices of bread. The panini also came with a side of sesame pasta salad. It was very light and a nice change from the typical pasta salads. Diana is so very peppy and nice to chat with. I hope this place continues to do well.

Ok, it’s time for an update! I still L-O-V-E the blue cheeseburger with garlic fries. It is probably my favorite thing on the menu. It is served on a grilled bun with the perfect amount of blue cheese and caramelized onions. Yum! Other loves: + Southwest Cobb Salad. It’s a chopped salad with the perfect amount of bacon, black beans, corn, chicken other yums! + Shrimp pasta: It’s heavenly. I can’t even describe how amazing it is… just try it, you won’t be sorry! + Tong’s Pasta: Another consistently good dish. The creamy black bean sauce(chinese black bean sauce) is the perfect blend of creamy and savory. It makes my stomach smile and say, «Thank you.» + Veggie Panini: Do you like veggies? Do you like cheese? You’ll LOVE this. Alright, I think I’ll have to stop by on Monday and order EVERYTHING I just talked about. So, maybe I’ll see you there? I’ll be the one in a food coma.

Caffe Notrellis is located in an industrial strip mall of sorts. There aren’t a ton of choices in Azusa, Irwindale but Caffee Notrellis was pretty good. We ordered their chicken ramen and a chicken sandwich with a side of garlic fries. Ramen is definitely Americanized … noodles are thick, soup is saltier, and no pork flavor. However, the chicken was grilled and had a nice tender texture. Overall, not bad. but it’s not ramen. The chicken sandwich was tasty but the bread was ho hum for me – too much bread I suppose. The garlic thin fries were pretty yummy. =) They also have desserts … tried their chocolate chip cookie. soft, chewy, but more like a little soft scone/muffin top than a cookie. Service is a bit hit or miss but friendly. Food takes awhile to come out(20 minutes for ramen and sammie) and they seemed to forget our orders … had to remind them about my water and cookie *that I had paid for*. I do love their ambiance… very relaxing with comfortable chairs and cute tables. You wouldn’t think you were in Irwindale at all!

Wonderful little café! I have seen this place many times driving by but finally stopped in with my sister and little baby niece. I had the southwest chicken salad with no corn and it was pretty good! The dressing was yummy and I like that they serve it «chopped» That way you get the right amount of dressing and toppings in each bite. My sister had the chicken sandwich with red peppers and I tried a bite, really good and fresh tasting. The pasta salad she got was good as well, had a bit of an asian dressing on it. She also got the fresh squeezed lemonade and a brownie, both were amazing and tasted homemade. The lady that owns the place is a joy! Very friendly and welcoming, you feel like you are walking into her home and she is there with open arms. haha I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

OMG. I love their soy milkshake. So healthy and help me lose weight and cholesterol during my diet period. Sandwich portion size is so big that I could split it to 2 meals. One for lunch and one for dinner. Or share with a friend. ^_^ So cozy patio tables that I could forget my stressful work and enjoy my super yummy lunch.

When you think of Irwindale. it’s hard to image that a eating establishment in this city would get a 5 star rating. But. lo and behold. Caffe Notrellis. I work around the area and this is my favorite lunch spot. I usually bring my own lunch to work because I don’t fart money and. well, if I could eat out everyday. I would. If I ever have a lunch date, or a department celebration, we come here. Everything I’ve had here is delicious. All the ingredients are fresh and tastes like new! The item I’ve had the most here is their Tuscan Chicken Sandwich. it has pesto, sun dried tomatoes, lettuce. It’s so good! Most of their cold sandwiches come with a side of bow-tie pasta salad. which has a really good sesame-ish flavor. You can even order the pasta salad by itself, but it’s actually much better as a side dish. You can also replace with fresh salad if you prefer leafy greens. A co-worker of mine always gets some mushroom bacon spinach panini. nothing else. She loooves it. «Super Yummy» she reports. There’s a pasta dish called Tong’s Pasta. The back story of this dish is that one of the chef’s threw this pasta together one day. and it was quite tasty, so they made it a regular item on their menu. It has beef, some vegetables, penne pasta in a light creamy sauce(don’t think Alfredo. it’s different. Alfredo is disgusting). Oh yeah. and their burgers take a little time to prepare. so if you plan on ordering their DELICIOUS burger. I’d suggest phoning in ahead and letting them know if you are in a time pinch. Their soups and salads are really yummy. if you’re in the mood for something light and healthy or if you’re on the supermodel diet. This place is serious business. Nothing is dissatisfying. NOTHING. The service: The people who run the place. sooo friendly. They greet and get to know regular customers. Show up twice, and the lady at the register will recognize you and love you(but not like that). They deliver to your work. at no extra charge. But let’s be polite and tip the guys that bring you the foodies, okay? The only thing is that this café is only open during business hours. They mainly serve the people who work around the area. So, because of that. this place is obviously quite busy during lunch hour. I normally try to come a little earlier or later to avoid the crowd. Their food is so good. if they were located in another area, they would do soooo well. But thanks for opening this secret hideout in this crappy city and feeding our pathetic tummies.
