Took some friends here for the cheesecake. Awesome! They all enjoyed and the staff was great. Will definitely be back.

Usually they have decent pastries and coffee. However I had a doughy, under baked muffin today that made me hesitant to go back.

I really love this charming little coffee café on the Main Street of Irwin. It’s not a fancy, pinkies up kind of specialty coffee bar, but they always have a selection and are so friendly and accommodating. The food is tasty as well. I really like how«Mom and Pop» this place feels and the outdoor seating that you can enjoy a few months a year. It’s the perfect place to catch up with an old friend or enjoy any relaxed conversation. Highly recommend.

I came here today for a quad-espresso. I have had their espresso before and thought it was only awful because of the style of paper cup they used. So today I requested it in a ceramic cup and you would have thought I requested my own personal room to sit in. The woman working behind the counter(somewhat rude and I refuse to call her a barista because this is a sad excuse for a coffee shop), struggled to understand what sort of ceramic mug I needed. She somehow managed to get it together enough to pull the shots of espresso. She gave it to me and then told me that the price was close to $ 6.00 which is pretty outrageous considering I had never paid over $ 3.00 for 4 shots of espresso anywhere else. But okay whatever I handed her my card and she had the audacity to tell me I needed to spend at least $ 7 to use my card! Haha! Who is coming to a coffee shop to get a coffee and spending more than $ 7 each time to get their coffee. This obviously isn’t your daily stop for coffee if you, like the rest of the world, have adapted to stepping away from paper currency and using your debit card. Needless to say, it wasn’t their awful paperish cups that made the espresso bad, it is just terrible espresso. I don’t know what sort of beans they use but I’d much rather not drink espresso at all than ever try this place again. I had to get some sort of scone to raise my price above $ 7 and it didn’t have any sort of taste to it, which is to be expected from a scone. I hope someone opens a coffee shop in Irwin worth going to because this place certainly is not.

Cute little coffee shop, bakery, and café in downtown Irwin! The staff is really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! They have the bast cheesecake I have ever had! The Orange Cranberry is my favorite!

Delicious food and cheesecake. They also have cake, cupcakes and cookies. Apparently they offer a variety of coffee choices, but i don’t drink coffee so can’t review that :).

True story: when I went into labor with my second child, I got into the car and drove myself down the hill to Cheesecake Caffe. I knew I’d be in for a long day without eating, so I ordered one of their chicken salad sandwiches. And I ate that delicious sandwich(with pecans and grapes, on a buttery croissant) till it was gone, and only THEN did I call my husband and tell him we should get to the hospital. The only two things I don’t love about this place are the spelling of the name, and the fact that they are never open in the evenings. I’d totally set up shop to grade papers in here if it were an option.

I have gotten cupcakes from here numerous times and they are always phenomenal! I always order at least a day in advance and then pick them up so I am not sure what the selection is like when you just walk in or what the other food is like. Staff has always been pleasant and helpful. I only wish they weren’t so far out of the city!

I’m not a coffee or cheesecake fan, however, I love this little place. I stop in here often on my lunch break just to pick up an iced tea or snack and I’ve also met friends here for lunch on the weekends because it’s close by and has a cute outside seating area. I think most people will agree that their chicken salad croissant is the best ever. Their wraps, paninis, panstries(especially the huge blueberry muffins and brownies), and breakfast sandwiches are also yummy. Cannot honestly comment on the coffee or cheesecake, never tried either, but I’ve heard both are good. Prices are reasonable, place is cute and clean. Staff(mostly young) are very friendly. Inside and outside seating. No wifi, but I don’t care… if I was some hipster who goes places just to get online and sip on a latte, I’d go to Starbucks or Panera. But I’m a working gal! Hence, the only reason I can’t give this place 5 stars is this: I work close by, but only get a half hour for lunch. And there’s usually only one girl running the register, getting drinks, and running food out to tables. I have run into the issue on a few occasions where I pop in to get something quick or order ahead and I have to wait several minutes. I know that a lot of folks(retired, day off of work) are in a more leisurely state that I am… but taking your time is not conductive to my quick in-and-out lunchtime expectation. There is also one extremely slow staff. On more than one occasions, I had to sort-of say, «excuse me, I’m on my lunch break…» and hussle my way through. One last note… some of their prices online are incorrect and have gone up. Other than that, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a good lunchtime hangout.

Love the Cheesecake Caffe! Their chicken salad croissant is the best I have ever had! The staff are so friendly! I ran in a few minutes before they closed(not knowing) and they still served me no problem! Cheesecake is amazing too!

The friendly service, the relaxed quaint atmosphere, the delicious food and drinks… What’s not to love! My favorite place for lunch in the Irwin area. Whether it’s sitting outside on the patio or inside you will find yourself happy as can be. Great chicken salad croissant sandwich to have for lunch followed up by literally an of their desserts. Can’t say enough positive things about this place! Can’t wait to go again!

Great neighborhood coffee shop. I’m into flavored coffee, and they always have good ones. Today was chocolate coconut! The breakfast sandwich is one of my favorites, as are the paninis. The cheesecakes are AMAZING, and there’s always a great selection of flavors. I ordered a couple of personal, 2-serving cheesecakes for Valentine’s Day this year. They’re supplemented with other bakery items, like decadent cupcakes, huge muffins, and moist, tender scones. It’s got a quiet, cozy atmosphere. No wifi, but often I find that a plus when I need to hole up and get some writing done without the distraction of the internet. If you’re looking for a passable cell signal, sit near the windows.

OK, I don’t know if they’ve changed how they make their Mochas, but I prefer this place now over Starbucks(never thought I’d say that). The pastries here are outstanding, along with their cupcakes. Had the Panini Italiano today, and wow. Excellent! If you’re on the Turnpike and reading this review, definitely worth getting off of it to try this quaint place out.
