Wonderful salon with great stylists. It is a fun friendly atmosphere (plus they serve wine!). Drew has been cutting and highlighting my crazy thick curly hair for 15 years. I would also recommend Julie, Kim, and Oscar.

I have been going here for almost 10 years and it is great! Everyone is awesome but Laura G. is my favorite! She always knows what I need and always makes my hair look beautiful. I have thin short to medium length hair.

It has that Wane’s is pricey, it maybe put it is worth every penny. Karen McKee does my cut and color and I couldn’t imagine going any where else. I have a very busy schedule and the cut she gives me works with me schedule and lets me look professional and fun at the same time.

What an unexpected delight in rainy, cold Dallas! Karen was engaging, knowledgeable and receptive to how I wanted envisioned my hair. Color, highlight, and cut was great and the product used made it perfect. Definitely traveling back from sunny Florida to see her again soon.

Go here for a laid back, friendly salon. Karen McKee is a great colorist! I have wild, thick and wavy hair and Karen has managed to tame it and make it look beautiful. She also offers an affordable Brazilian blowout. Lots of entertaining stylists too! Feels like family.

I have pretty thin plain hair that has always been hard to deal with, but Suzan Charles is amazing and I’ve been seeing her for years. She makes my hair look totally different and cuts it in a way that it looks fuller, and she’s the only hairdresser I’ve ever had that can do it. She’s amazing!
I will also add after being a customer at Wane Salon for years I sit in the chair and watch the other stylists doing pretty amazing work on others. It really is a talented group over there, so if you are looking for a new stylist you can’t really go wrong with any of them.
Yes, as another reviewer points out it is a pretty low-​key décor (but it’s still nice, just not the SPA treatment) and it does SEEM expensive for the atmosphere, but I’ve gone to nicer places and paid the same amount and guess what — the cut is always disappointing and I end up back at Wane. If you’re going to splurge on ONE THING it should be your hair.

My first vist to Wane Salon was extremely awesome! Tina Harrison is the best. She took her time with me and didn’t talk to me about useless crap. I could tell that she is a very caring person.

11÷25÷13 update. I learned that the fees charged to me for coloring my roots is double what others charge. I found a new salon to try and hope it’s my new home.
I appreciate a great colorist and hair stylist but refuse to be screwed. :(

I love Wane Salon, particularly Donna G. She ROCKS my highlights and perms! I’ve been seeing her for years and she is awesome! I moved 2 states away and still see her every time I’m home! All of my friends who started seeing her years ago still see her. The salon is casual and Donna G. is super friendly. Go in, ask for Donna G. and a glass of wine — you’ll love the experience!

I’ve been going to Wane Salon since I was a kid, complete with unruly white-​girl afro. Thanks to good hair care advice from my stylist A’mari, I don’t have to wear a bag over my head anymore. Plus, she always makes sure to get my highlights just right– I’ve even had people in disbelief that the color was fake.
Yes, it is expensive, but it’s your hair, okay? It’s important.
