Update: As a long term customer of this salon I still cannot believe my recent experience that has ended my relationship with this salon. Miriam is the person I have been loyally going to for my cut, color & style for over 2 years. Recently she decided due to family reasons she would not be at the salon on a regular schedule but would be in every few weeks & assured me she would give me a call to come in on those days. The last time I was there in June she told me that she was almost certain she would be in on July 20th. Great I said! That is my birthday & I will be able to get my hair done. She said I am not positive but I will give you a call. I had not heard anything about rather Miriam would indeed be in on July 20th& I needed to get my hair done soon. I contacted Miriam around July 10th to confirm when she will be back in the salon. She informed me oh yes, I will be in on the 20th of July but sorry I am all booked up. I was shocked as she had promised to call me & I had no reason to doubt her. I guess no freshly styled birthday hair for my Saturday night. She then responded I will be back in the salon on Aug. 3rd. I did not argue with who I thought was a personal friend but I was disappointed. I called the salon & made an appointment for Aug. 3rd. A couple days before that appointment I get a call from the salon that Miriam will not be in on Aug. 3rd& they don’t know when she will be back in. I should contact her directly. I was really frustrated. Why would someone tell me TWICE they will be in & then not be in. Where is the common respect. I contact Miriam & she says oh yeah I won’t be in. I will be in on Aug. 17th however. At this point I am without words as to the waste if my time & lack if respect given to me especially after so long. I tried to explain to Miriam how I felt, ask why would she be so disrespectful to other people’s time & tell her how I felt. She would not listen at all. She said well I posted on Facebook that I would be in on July 20th, sorry you did not see it. It booked up. Really Facebook? We are not Facebook friends & have not communicated like that in the past. I am your client not a Facebook buddy. Then she would not even acknowledge they she said she would be in on Aug. 3rd. All I heard was that I was being narrow minded & that I should just come in on Aug. 17th. She was completely missing the point & denied she ever said she would be in on Aug. 3rd even though I was staring at it in a text & sent her a screen shot. Bottom line I will not be back. I am very flexible about exactly how many weeks I go between appointments but I have no desire to continue to play these games. Just be aware of how a long time customer can be treated & when confronted argued with & told you are wrong & narrow minded.

Just moved to Irving and was in need of a haircut. Found Tammy & Co on Unilocal and decided to give them a try. I’ve been growing out a bad haircut and Audra shaped it up and looks great. We did a short consultation first and knew just what to do with my fine, short hair. Price was very reasonable for a shampoo, cut and style. I’m definitely going back.
