4 stars… it’s not as rich as Cold Stone. Plus they don’t have granola no more. So everything is made with graham cracker instead. Bonus is they make their own waffle cones!

Came in for dessert with a friend after having lunch at Freebirds next door because it was blazing hot outside and wanted some ice cream to cool us down some. Both my friend and I ordered smalls. I had vanilla and my friend ordered cotton candy. I guess they were almost out of vanilla b/c she scraped what was left and gave me my bowl with my three toppings. I waited for my friend and she gave her SIGNIFICANTLY more ice cream in her bowl and didn’t even ask her if she wanted any toppings.(which my friend did but she didn’t tell me until we were already out the door. If I had known I would’ve definitely said something as I am not as nice as my friend is.) She basically just put the ice cream in a bowl and just handed it to her. Even though I did not get the same amount of ice cream as my friend I was okay with that since the amount I had was the perfect amount until I went to pay and she said 5 dollars. I looked at the menu and told her ‘but a small is 4 dollars’ to which she replied with ‘we ran out of small cups so I gave you a regular.’ I looked at the lady and stated I did not ask for a regular I asked for a small and if you ran out of small cups then you should’ve put a small serving in a regular cup.’ To which she replied with ‘I gave you a regular serving.’ I looked at her and told her ‘This doesn’t even look like a regular serving. My friend’s looks like a regular serving which you probably gave her because you didn’t run out of ice cream.’ Then she states ‘Well what do you want me to charge you, 4 or 5?’ And I told her I want you to charge me for what I asked for and SHEENDEDUPCHARGINGME5DOLLARS. At this point I am livid, there are customers behind me so I am whatever at this point, and I definitely told her how I felt about her and how she ran her business. She even had the nerve to ask if I could pay with cash. I asked her ‘Why? Do you have a credit limit?’ Which they do not, she just didn’t want to pay the credit card fee! Needless to say this is the WORSTMARBLESLAB I have even been to and I will not be returning unless management changes.

I don’t eat real ice cream often, but when I do, it is either Blue Bell or Marble Slab! This place has always been a go-to for me as a kid, so it just runs in my blood. They have a nice selection of ice cream flavors with plenty of toppings. You can get a medium for $ 5.25 – a pretty good deal! ~Carpe Diem~

Not thrilled by the service and when I was there on 4⁄24 the CC machine was down so she asked for my card number to run later. Today 4⁄26 I get a call from them now asking for my address and security code??? That’s a lot of info! I’m not processing an eBay or Amazon purchase. When I used to work retail, we just typed in the number and expiration date if the scanner was down. Not happy with them at all and will not return EVER. Not friendly by the way!

I scream! You Scream! We all scream for ice-cream! Wonderful customer service, I feel like I should call the owner just to tell them so! This is one of my favorite places in Irving for ice-cream. I love how you can create your own, they have waffle cones, and bowls, and many of them are dipped in chocolate and some in candy after that, get ready to grow fat cells, haha!

The new pricing is actually nice having unlimited toppings. The specials are well paired and the ice cream is great. It’s a nice change to the frozen yogurt craze. Bonus, the birthday cakes are delish.

Busy place but they need to work on being friendly. As for the ice cream so yummy as always and I love the options I too away 1 star for cleanliness. Topping containers were Emory and just thrown around the display

If I could give a zero star review I would. The inside is horribly dirty and smells like sewage. We’ve gone three times over the last six weeks or so, hoping the smell and filth was the result of an «off night», unfortunately each visit was the same. I’m surprised the owners have not been sighted with health department citations.

Watch out for the regular/small scam. Ask for a small, receive a regular, ask why it’s bigger than usual, «no, this a small», cashier expects you to pay for a regular… Guy who served your regular«small» is nowhere to be found… Same thing happened to the couple behind us. Marble Slab corporate– is this the representation that you want for your company? This franchise is losing your customer base with their poor business ethics! Ice cream was delicious.

They make everything fresh here! It was so yummy! And I got a free small cone because it was my birthday. The girl who helped me was SO sweet! Great customer service– and great ice cream. I will definitely be back. I got the s’mores ice cream– but next time I’m going to try the sweet cream and raspberries like she suggested.

We love the ice cream! Always fresh. My husband and I go in every week for a quick«date» stop. I have been trying the different flavors and I have not found one that I have not liked yet. The staff is friendly, and you can try the various flavors to figure out which one you are in the mood for.

2 visits in 2 weeks and it smells like spoiled milk in here. Last time the franchisee was griping at his wife and really angry at her shaking the phone in her hand. Take it in the back folks. Probably will find another ice cream place next time.

The franchise owner was very receptive and accommodating, however when I went back to complete my custom order the«manager» was not as receptive and did not complete my request as promised… Cut corners. I called a minute ago and was unable to talk to owner, «manager» was defensive and not apologetic for the«error» and I doubt I will go back there even though the ice cream was amazing!!! Because of the attitude of the manager… Coppell store, here we come.

Been here twice. Both times the ice cream was great but the service really kills it. It seems to be owned by a family, and only the son speaks or understands English. The dad runs the register and always gets it wrong then argues with customers when he clearly has no idea what’s going on. The mom makes the ice cream but can’t read English and will end up giving you chocolate with cherries when you asked for raspberry cheesecake. She will then oddly hand it to you, knowing full well she winged it, look you right in the eyes, shrug, and walk away. All of this goes on while the son works his butt off taking orders, expediting, telling his dad what people had, and correcting the ice cream his mom made. The catch is, the place is always packed and busy because it’s the only ice cream joint around. Maybe the parents are stubborn but if you got some other people working there with the son this place would easily be 4.5 stars to everyone. As others have said, the marshmallows are stale and hard, and the price is very high, 8 bucks for two large scoops of ice cream but what are ya gonna do?

Great place. I found the choice of premade cones very comprehensive, fun, and a good overall mix. I also thought they had quite a choice of different flavors of ice cream, and they were happy to go ahead and substitute where you wanted. The staff was super friendly, and also very efficient. The ice cream was superb. The ice cream is very fresh, with no ice crystals. The cone was also very fresh and crunchy. Also, the portions were very generous. To have three scoops of ice cream, and a waffle cone for under $ 10 was a great deal.

I feel like such a fatty whenever I walk in because I just know I’m about to probably consume an entire day’s worth of allotted calories, but it’s so good that exceptions have to be made. Custom order your sinful dessert with the choice of your toppings. I got a Mint icecream shake last with some hot fudge mixed into it the last time I went it. It was the perfect solution for the 109 degree weather that day. It had to be done. And no, I didnt eat the rest of the day to make up for the calories but it was well worth it.

Similar to Coldstone Creamery, when you order your ice cream here along with your customary mix-ins, or the ones already pre-prescribed, your ice cream will be smished and smashed on a marble slab to magically mix everything together. Your ice cream will find its way to a ginormous waffle cone, and after you pay and tip for for the muscle work of the slabbers, you will happily slurp and munch away at your creamy creation. I like this place. Inside it’s old-fashioned and outdated looking, but the ice cream is really good. We got two huge, huge cones for about $ 5 each. We got Rocky Road and the Birthday Cookie one – both delish!

Great place. Great icecreams. If you are placing a little large order(4+ persons), they do listen to your customization. But its pricey indeed. Cannot justify it for every ice cream craving.
