Still as yummy as when I first found this place. Short ribs plate, double veggies and salad. — Included some edamame too, not sure if that was intentional with the veggies. But it’s a plus. — The short ribs, the char grilled on this thinly cut piece of meat is what makes me love it. Nice grilled smoky taste especially from the caramelized teriyaki sauce. Happy tummy!

Love Love my favorite! There’s a lot of Asian fusion menu selection. Quickly and good price. Definitely I will be back. :)

The food is good and affordable. I love the taro boba smoothie. The right amount of sweetness. The bulgogi beef had good flavor, but I like a lot of sauce to mix with my rice. The reason I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 4 is they forgot one of my sides and dressing for my salad. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Everything was great the food was fresh and really really good. The staff was really nice and the food came out pretty fast. But the only thing that I do have to say that I was not impressed with was they had pictures of sushi rolls on Unilocal but they stopped selling them. Not cool

I’ve been here a couple of time for lunch. The tofu veggie bowl is a little light on sauce, but tasty. The chicken fried rice is very good, and re-heats well for the next day’s lunch. This is important, since you’re getting a mound of food. The Chicken Katsu is also very good. It’s a sliced and fried chicken breast with a cheese inside. The sauce is just okay, but the chicken itself is excellent. Expect to spend at least $ 11 on a meal and drink.

Great food, I come here often and only once the food was way too salty, but it’s always fresh and good.

Food was good but service was sub par. They didn’t have boba for our teas, they ran out of chopsticks, and the wait time for the food was so long. Customer service could have been better. Perhaps this was just a bad day to come in but I’m not satisfied. Food was okay. But go to Empa Mundo next door if you want better service

Its a hit or miss. I have taken garlic pepper chicken few times and everytime experience has been different. First time the chicken n fried rice tasted great. Thats why went for second time but the quality was not even 50% of what i had first time. Sometimes fried rice is good n sometimes chicken.

Pleasantly suprised by this place! Not only did they have boba tea but they have a HUGE selection of menu items. I got the chicken teriyaki plate with 2 egg rolls and steamed rice. The chicken was perfectly cooked, moist and tender. The egg rolls were some of the best I have had, crispy outside and just the right amount of mushy inside. The rice was steamed well. I also got a coconut milk tea with boba pearls, the tea was very flavorful and the pearls were the perfect amount of squishy goodness. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some good Asian fusion food in the area :)

Had the spicy beef with shrimp, fried rice & egg roll & cole slaw as my 2 sides. I recommend this place, especially since this meal was only $ 2.00 more than a baconator combo meal I had across the street at Wendy’s. Only downside us the beef was slightly tough.

Definitely not what I would have expected in a rundown strip mall! Lohas is a nice little, exotic escape in Irving. Perfect for escaping your cubicle during lunch time. The menu is Asian-fusion(sushi, bento box, stir fry options). I decided to go with the Honey Chili Chicken Teriyaki meal, which was a very large portion. I liked the fried rice, salad and egg roll that came with the meal. I really liked the flavor of the chicken(sweet and tangy spicy), however, it was more breading than chicken. My husband got a grilled teriyaki chicken meal that I liked a bit more. I haven’t given up on this place, I just may not go back for any fried items. I was looking around at other tables, and everyone’s food looked really yummy. You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure.

Tried this place because my boyfriend wanted to try their kimchi fries. He said it was okay compared to LA’s burger kimchi fries. Milk tea is bad, they prob use the powder form of it; the boba was horrible. It was really hard and tasted like it was weeks old. I had the spicy pork teriyaki bento with macaroni salad and a regular side salad. Everything tasted good. I really liked the spicy pork! My boyfriend got the spicy chicken teriyaki and he really enjoyed it! The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is there bubble teas. But the food is good. I didn’t have a problem with the service or the wait. It took them only a couple of minutes to bring out the food. I would come back here to try out other stuff in their menu!

Spicy shrimp Yakisoba was SO good. Noodles were super flavorful & the spicy shrimp on skewers were tasty too. Not as spicy as I like but the flavor was still yummy Also got the Short Rib & Shrimp combo with fried rice, macaroni salad & egg roll for my boyfriend. Fried rice was too moist but had good flavor. Egg roll was pretty basic with meat & cabbage filling. Mac salad was different with chopped apples & grapes. Pleasant & refreshing. I didn’t try any of the beef but the shrimp was cooked well & flavorful. Wings were pretty basic but they were a really good deal for 10 wings. Kimchi fries were BOMB. I’m picky with kimchi cuz I don’t like it too funky. Fries were topped with pork, kimchi, fries onions & this spicy mayo sauce. So good. The cashier was super nice and gave me samples of all their sauces for dipping — teriyaki, spicy mayo, ginger sauce, ranch & sriracha. Will def come back to try other items. Favorites so far are the Yakisoba and kimchi fries.

Such a delicious healthy, Asian restaurant. The food was good and I like how they give steamed veggies on the side of anything you order. Their Kimchee fries were very tasty and reminded me of the delicious food truck kimchee fries I had in Austin. I like their fries better than I like LA Burgers. They have a lot of different bowl options and you get to chose a side when ordering from certain dishes. What I like the most about this place is that they do not add MSG to their food, so you dont feel extremely sleep after you eat. The staff is very nice!

Having in the past two weeks had some good experiences at three other Asian spots on N Belt Line road: Hanaki(4 Stars): Maki Boy(4 Stars): Hanasho(2 Stars): I was anxious to try Lohas Teriyaki just a bit further up the street. Granted, Lohas is, by their own admission, «fusion» as opposed to Japanese, but I don’t think I was going too far off base in comparing Lohas to the nearby Japanese joints. In short? Lohas didn’t quite stack up. Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? Pretty straight forward to be honest. Order at the counter, have a seat, and your food should be out in about five. To be honest, I missed the atmospheres of Maki Boy, Hanaki and Hanasho that made me feel just a bit warmer than Lohas, but I have no gripes with the service. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Price comparison. Ready? Go: Maki Boy’s Mini Chicken Bowl: $ 3.75( ) Hanaki’s Oyakodon: $ 7.95( ) Hanasho’s Curry: $ 8.95( ) I was pleased to see that my Spicy Chicken Bowl was well within reason when compared to these nearby options at $ 5.95: Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Here’s unfortunately where it all went wrong. The most notable issue here was the size of the chicken. There wasn’t a lot to start with, but my fillet was paper thin and overcooked. The rice? Forgettable. I can eat fluffy Japanese white rice plain all day, but this was clumpy and bland. Overall? My Spicy Chicken Bowl fell well short of similar options at nearby Japanese joints. No Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? It’s pretty simple folks. Lohas Teriyaki has a fantastic menu, but almost regardless of what you get, one of the nearby Asian joints can serve it up better. No Star Granted.
