Has a lot of open space to do anything. There is a petting zoo there too. Has a softball field, basketball quarts, swing and playground along with a frisbee area

Fritz is cool. Not hidden and hard to find as it was described. Not in my opinion anyway. It is functional and works well for our kickball games. Sure it’s tucked off but I like the idea of it being tucked off. Just a park for team sports. It works!

Fritz is hard to find. Its a little nine holer in the buttcrack of Irving. This part of Irving doesn’t even look like its part of DFW. You have to peer down the side streets until you can see the small parking lot. Its at the very end of a residential street. If you look up directions its going to place you at the main entrance to Fritz park. If you look across the park you will see where the disc golf lot is. Just drive around in a circle until you get it. Sounds strange, I know. The parking lot puts you at hole 1. There are only 9 baskets. Its pretty scenic over here. A creek runs through the middle and on one hole you throw over a pond with a fountain. This is a great beginner course. There is only 1 rough hole where you throw over the largest part of the creek. My biggest tip is: Leave your green discs at home. There are so many clover patches and so much greenery, you will never find it. There is a huge playground and a petting zoo over here too. Overall, its a good course. Very dog friendly. It only takes a half hour to play these short holes.
