Wild Bill’s is arguably the best Hobby Shop in North Texas. The only problem is they need more space for all that inventory. If your a scale modeler, R/​C Enthusiast (gas or electric), model railroader, or rocket launcher… Wild Bill’s has it all. Just be prepared to stay awhile — it’s hard to just stop in for a bottle of paint!

I grew up in Irving and love revisiting Wild Bills for all of my hobby needs. Some say «a bit pricey», but wouldn’t you rather go to one place than travel to several places around the DFW area wasting gas and time? I don’t know about you, but my time is valuable. The staff is knowledgeable about every hobby or project that I have ever worked on. They give great advice and suggestions. It is much better than going to one of these large chains with Skippy as the manager who knows nothing about my project. Thank you, Wild Bill’s Hobby Shop for your devotion to us hobbyists and makers! I tip my hat to you!

If you are kid at heart. You’ll love this place!!. I’ve always love train set and If I had my way I will dedicate a room for Model Train. Well Maybe one day. So many toys. Not just trains but model cars, definitely worth checking it out.

No one’s gotten around to Wild Bill’s? Are you kidding?
Models, model paint, trains & terrain, RC, balsa, foam, an RC track, this place is one of the very few places left that takes an honest interest in their product and their customer. It’s a bit pricy since it’s the only game in town, but since online ordering came around every hobby shop is a bit pricy.
Some of my best memories as a kid came from putting together kits I bought here. If you want to get your son or daughter involved in crafting, or you never grew up yourself, you’ve gotta go to Hurst or Dallas to find anywhere better.

What Can I say this store is the MECCA for your hobby needs.
They have it all from 32 scale slot cars, Trains all scales and accessories, RC Planes, RC Cars gas and battery powered, RC Boats and RC Helicopters.
I was amazed to see the huge selection of plastic models (planes, cars, boats, battleships and motorcycles. Current Popular to Rare hard to find and Japanese Imports.
This store is like walking through a massive toy box.
If your ever in Irving and want to revisit your youth ~ Just walk inside.
