Denny’s

I went last night with my family and the service was lacking to say the least. My husband ordered a chicken Philly and my little one ordered a Jr cheeseburger. I got myself a two item sampler to share and a bacon cheeseburger with fries.
It took over 25 mins to get our food in a dining room that had 4 tables, 2 of which already were eating and one that was ordering. When the waitress brought or food out she told my husband that they messed up on his food and have to remake it and it will be another 5 mins for his food.
I barely had any fries on my plate. When they finally served my husband, it was the regular Philly, not the chicken Philly. He told the waitress and she said she wouldn’t charge him for the steak Philly (it costs more) but would charge for the chicken Philly.
We get our check and the bill showed we were charged for the steak Philly so my husband asked to have it fixed like promised. The manager told our waitress that the chicken and steak Philly sandwiches are the same price. We got a menu and proved the steak one cost more.
It’s a sad day when your food takes a long time to be made, then remade, then for a manager not to know her menu prices. Needless to say, I won’t go there again.
I will say though that our waitress was very kind and good service. Her name is Tyeanna and I would recommend her. I won’t recommend this restaurant though.

First time in Texas and we decided to go eat some food after our airplane ride. I ordered the classic club sandwiches with fries and a Sprite. Such a delicious meal. The waitress was also very nice and we all enjoyed our meals. Great experience.

Standard Dennys. They were pretty busy but the service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I was quite surprised at how good the vegetarian omelet was!!! I don’t come to Dennys or other diners often but I will definitely come back here =)

First my server, Karen was great!
That said, I ordered bacon and eggs. Lol, I did not think it was physically possible to slice bacon this thin!!! A piece if hair is thicker. I mentioned that to Karen and she immediately brought me out more. Which she didn’t have to but she insisted. So again, great service. Use better bacon!

Ate here last night with friends. Service was good and food came out fast. Staff was attentive.

Tilapia is fresh, skillet plate is delicious. Pancake puppies are tasty:) Restaurant is not clean. Service is slow. But server was friendly.

I read the comments about this location and must have a new management. Very clean and great service. Sue waited on us and made sure everything was right. Drinks never ran dry. I travel a lot and eat at many Dennys. This is on the top of the list. Will return!!!

I’m personally not a fan of Denny’s food so this review is mostly for our server Valerie. She was fantastic, nice, friendly and she went out of her way. I had one of the best service experience here. Thank you Valarie for being on top of your game!

I always say that if you visit Dennys you deserve what you get.
Slow service, bad service, dirty tables, getting the wrong order… it’s all part of the fun of going to Dennys.
Hey! At least they are open 24 hours, have good cheap desserts, always have breakfast and everything tastes like Lipton.
Dennys is like that friend’s house you go and crash at when you’re to drunk to drive home.

The Denny’s off this location is dirty. I do not recommend coming here. The bathroom had toilet paper with stains (use your imagination) on the floor, Our coffee cups looked like they were not washed, and my eggs tasted like they had been sitting out for hours.

I ate breakfast here on my way back to Austin around Memorial Day weekend. Service from my server was actually great. I got my table cleaned. I got parts of my order that was missing. He did the best he could with what he had.
The food was sub par, nothing to give you a stomach ache, but I could have done way better at McDonald’s for breakfast. I ordered pancakes with bacon and eggs and cheese. Pancakes was below average tasting and they rationed the syrup, I got like a 1 oz container with syrup!, bacon was crispy but lacking meat and packed with fat. The eggs were ok could have been liquid, but I didn’t watch the cooks prepare my meal.
The sitting areas weren’t very clean it was ok clean, the kinda of clean where you have to ask the server to clean again and dust of crumbs off of the bench.
Nothing special here to talk about from the orders of my company I was with and nothing here to bring me back to eat at Denny’s It’s been about 10 years since I last ate here and looks like they still need more time to get their act right, clean tables and really good tasting breakfast.

Came here on a Saturday morning. Very, very busy. We were seated within about 5 minutes. Our server was friendly and efficient. I had a veggie and cheese omelette that was pleasing. Coffee refills were prompt. I give this place 3 stars because it is «A-​OK» — nothing to blow your socks off, but worth a visit, certainly.
Ambience needs updating and refreshing, but overall, we were happy enough.

Ridiculous service, got us wrong order when we complained, server refused to correct the order. When we checked out, cashier was entering some thing in her phone holding my credit card in the other hand, very suspicious act…

Gave this spot an extra star because it was Christmas night. However, my app came after the people behind us, who were seated after us, got their entrees. Took 15 min to get our drinks on a not so busy night. Server looked like she was being worked like a slave, and our food, (simple omelets) was less than mediocre. Haven’t had dennys in years and probably won’t for a couple more to come. But hey, it’s Christmas! So I left a fat tip and with a smile on my face… :)

This is the second time me and my boyfriend have been to denny’s and this location and both times sucked. Both times the place was completely empty and the food was gross first time I ordered the chicken parmesan which looks like a frozen breaded chicken patty with a slice of cheese put on top of it and a spoonful of sauce thrown on it. Second time I ordered the hickory grilled chicken sandwich and it literally made me and my boyfriend sick! I took one bite and could not eat anymore the sweet hickory spread was way to over powering and a weird dark brown greenish color (not like the one on the picture) So gross!!! After being sick i was ready to leave so we asked for the check and we gave her our cards so we could slit the bill and our waitress she they couldn’t do that there. I guess by the outdated looks of the place i shouldn’t be surprised but last time we went we were able to slit the bill. I doubt we will ever go back unless the change the whole menu and renovate the place. The décor and inside looks like a mixture of a thrift store and office from the 70’s. The décor is old booths are old and even all the employees are old.

So my wife and I stopped in shortly before 10pm tonight and were one of two parties eating there. While we were looking over the menu, our waitress came and took the menu i was looking at out of my hands to point out new items. While that was pretty rude, it gets worse. She sits down at a booth with the manager and proceeds to gossip for twenty minutes while our food sat in the window. When i asked her «excuse me, is that our food in the window?» She jumps up says «no» before even going to the window. Well, it sure was our food. She tells the cook to warm it up, brings it to us, and dissapears again. Most of the food was rubbery and cold. We were the ONLY table our waitress had! The manager is equally at fault for this horrible service. You people need some serious help. You suck!

This is my Go to spot when I am craving breakfast food. $ 4 Every Slam baby!

Haven’t eaten at Denny’s in 20 years because last time I ate there I found a hair in my food. This time was no exception… yes, found a hair in my food. They remade the meal however after hearing the cook curse in spanish for 10 minutes and the waitress go back and forth over whose hair it was I was over it. However, I was staying across the street at the Westin and wanted a quick and inexpensive meal. Service sucked too. The two waitress I DID see were more interested in winning a stuffed animal from the game machine instead of seating me and my kids. Oh well… it is Denny’s, can’t expect too much. They did comp my portion of the meal though.

we, ve been stuck with an awkward work schedule and the kitchen is undergoing repair. So, in need of food in the middle of the night we found ourselves at Denny’s one morning. It had been years since eating at a Denny’s. They have really improved! Over the past two moths we have been eating her 4 times a week. Been changing it up between breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Actually quite impressed. The service is good. They will allow you switch items listed for the meal. let you request things like no cheese sauce just shredded cheddar cheese. The pancakes are better than that «I-​pancakes» close by. We have to rate this location high because of quality of food, service in combination with the low price.
