We drove down to Irving Ny for a family get together, and although it was cool and windy for June, the lake was inviting looking, and the atmosphere was a summer delight. I had the grouper Ruben which was excellent; the grouper was seared and tasty. My relatives had the Turkey wrap, Reuben, and the Beach wrap(a chicken BLT) and all were very satisfied. Our server was attentive but did not hover, and we had a a great time reminiscing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

WONDERFUL place to start our Memorial Day weekend getaway! LOVE coming back to visit my old«stomping grounds» of the WNY/Lake Erie region, and our friends we stayed with nearby are regulars here, so all the better! For a «taste of the tropics» in one of the most unlikely spots, you can’t beat this hotspot! AWESOMELY beautiful views of the lake(pictures coming soon…) great service(though I do see how it more than likely gets CRAZY busy as the night goes on…) and great happy hour drink specials and apps.!! Our table of six shared wings(Buffalo area = WINGS!!), steamed clams, chicken fingers, and nachos, all well-prepared. We would have stayed for dinner, but we filled up on the apps and moved on to our next stop. Don’t miss this gem if you’re in the area during spring/summer!

First time here on a Saturday. It was reasonably busy. Waited 30 minutes for a table inside. Once we got seated inside we saw about 7 open tables. Took about 10 minutes for our server to come over and when she did we were ready to order at that point. I got a wrap and my boyfriend got a steak sandwhich. We waited about 25 – 30 minutes for our food. My wrap was a bit dry, could have used some actual dressing in it same for the steak sandwich. View was beautiful but blinding. Crowd ranged from families to young couple to older couples. Like I said view was beautiful until a woman decided to climb on the railing and spread her legs while her boyfriend took a picture through her legs so he could get a pic of the sunset and her crotch. Pretty disturbing while trying to eat and I’m sure the families with young children didn’t appreciate it. Our server came over to take our oder and then give us our food, couldn’t get a refill on our waters. So we just decided to stop eating and get our check, which also took a long while. I am not from this area and wouldn’t come back here if I had the chance.

Nice outdoorsy beach atmosphere with a great view of Lake Erie, but too loud if your looking to have conversation while dining. The clams were excellent!!! I wish I could say the same for the burger. I’m a burger fanatic and I like them handcrafted with fresh ground beef. This was obviously something commercially purchased frozen in bulk and then thrown on a griddle. The people I dined with seemed to enjoy their meal… other than the fries which weren’t fresh cut, but frozen also. Overall, a mediocre dining experience at best. I won’t go out of my way to eat here again, but I’ll stop by on warm summer evening for a drink or two and catch an amazing sunset.

Been going to this bar since it was at least 3 owners ago. Each owner ran a superb business… and Sam, who now owns it has not disappointed. Each time I go back to my hometown, I eat here at least one time. I have never had a bad meal. To be able to sit overlooking the wonderful, clean beach with boats docked for the day… just a great, warm feeling. Excellent food! Great Drink! Way to Sam! Keep up the great work!

Came here last night after a weekend of fun in the sun. The food was not quiet what I remembered … I had ordered the fisherman’s platter and it was lack luster mainly received Fries and some popcorn shrimp kinda left me wanting more. My father had ordered a steak sub with spinach again that was mildly disappointing since it was not«real» steak on the sub more like steak-ums from tops. Will probably come back again to try the all you can eat crab legs for $ 27.99 but if that doesn’t tantalize my fancy I may just stick to Cabana Sams as a place to quench my thirst and hurt my liver. Least the sun was out. Suns out guns out can’t beat that.

I live this place in the summer. Its a great bar and restaurant right on the beach with an amazing upper deck to eat at. Pretty clean for a bar on the beach. Price is fair for what they serve. I recommend this place.

A beach bar, in Buffalo?!? Okay. So not Buffalo proper, but more like Irving. It’s a bit out of the way, but soooo worth the drive. Actually, there are summer cottages all along that road that you can rent out. I would absolutely do this if I weren’t out of Buffalo in a few days. It reminds me of a Put-In Bay(Ohio) or a Coconuts(Florida). Everyone is just lounging around in bathing suits drinking a frosty beverage, without a care in the world. It’s like they have completely forgotten that it snows here. I love it! The exterior of the bar opens up to the beach. We were there around sunset and it had a great view or the sun along the water. We kicked off our shoes and went for a walk along the beach, and let me tell you… There is just something about the feel of sand beneath your toes that makes you feel just a little more relaxed. The blood pressure drops a couple of points, and all of the stresses of the week just seem to melt away. It was awesome. Throw in a drink, and you’re all set for a great afternoon. What’s better than one drink? Two drinks! Obviously. The bar has a happy hour for a couple hours where they do 2−4−1 drinks in the afternoon. No shirt, no shoes, no problem! The atmosphere is super relaxed and they have loud party music playing. Small children took to dancing in the common area, providing entertainment for the adults, and what was likely a welcome break from parenting for a few minutes for that couple. They do serve food, but we didn’t eat here. Definitely next time. All in all, this was just a fun and good natured place to get away, without leaving Buffalo’s backyard. Unilocal beach party! Who is with me?!?

There is an upper deck for dinning with some awesome views — I recommend getting there before sunset and then watching it — can be romantic! There is also dinning downstairs, but it can be pretty noisy at the wrong times. This IS the place to hit during summer and if you don’t mind someone smoking close to you — then you should love this place. There are as many good points as bad — depending on who or what you are. Good food, good selection, reasonably priced, lots of flesh strolling by — guys and gals, decent free parking, great views, a bit of cigarette smoke flowing about, noisy, accepts credit cards, entertainment from time to time, sometimes obnoxiousness people. Please let’s not even talk about bathrooms and cleanliness — normally not too good!

The cajun grouper sandwich was excellent. The kids ate and we paid their weight in cents + 1 dollar. My wife had the Caesar. So since Tuesdays are oldies prices, it cost $ 20 to feed the family. They even had a band and Elvis impersonator… Fun place. The beachfront setting is outstanding. The sand was clean and the lake was crystal clear. Nice shallow grade to the beach. Probably one of the nicest beaches on Erie, and very swimmable.
