We had this system installed on our roof for our swimming pool 12 years ago. It’s still working! No leaks and still heats up our pool about 6 degrees higher than otherwise without solar. The system at that time cost about $ 3,300 and heats up our enormous swimming pool. The system covers our entire back roof. The only downside is the sensors have to be replaced about every five years at a cost of a couple hundred dollars. I suppose that is to be expected. Overall I’m glad we got this and would highly recommend Suntrek to anyone.

I’m not sure how many people can drop the ball. After scheduling an appt for the following Tuesday-where I was told they would call me the day before to let me know what time. They didn’t call. I had told them I could do mornings only. I called them in the morning and preceded to call them 3x that day to see when or if someone was coming. At 6pm the guys came. They were already tired. I showed them a picture of the hole in the panel someone else took of a few weeks earlier. He looked on roof, couldn’t find the hole, said it was a leaky valve, replaced the valve and left. Cost $ 235. Next day still leaking. I called and talked to a nice lady who said she would have the scheduling lady call me as soon as she came in they morning. At 1pm I called again. Talked to scheduling lady. Said she would find out a day and time and call me back. So far, no call. I went to put a stop payment on the check and it is already cashed. I would love for this company to remedy themselves. No bueno! Beware!

From my first call to Suntrek to the installation of my solar panels for my pool, the professionalism and service was wonderful. Roy was recommended to me by my pool service company, and he came right out, found the problem, and had a new system installed within a week. I am so pleased with everyone I spoke to at Suntrek, from the front office to the installers-they were all friendly, professional and were a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them to everyone who wants a great result. My pool was 90 yesterday, and it is great. Don’t wait, call Suntrek Irvine and ask for Roy, I am sure you will be as pleased as I am with the finished product.

I had them install a Solar System on my home at a cost of $ 5,700. The installation went pretty well and I have no complaints about that. The reason i am only giving 1 star is about the performance of the installed product. The system seems to be working ok although I think the solar sensor is not in the best location as it doesn’t come on till later than i feel it should. The problem is, when it does come on, it struggles to heat my pool to 87 degrees. I have a new variable speed pump which I installed to save electricity but because of the inefficiency of the solar system, the pump runs at almost full speed for 6 hours a day. I wanted to get the pool to 90 but it just won’t get past 87. My neighbor doesn’t have a solar system and his pool is at 81 !!! When I signed the contract I remember asking Roy questions about will my pump be at full speed all day, do i have enough space on my roof etc. he promised me the world, assured me that the system will be well sized for my pool(he even said oversized). I spoke to Roy and Aaron over there. The follow up is appalling. Customer service is pathetic and Roy was very rude to me. He’s blaming me for not paying them a month after the installation when I called and left a message for their billing department as soon as I received the invoice. They chose not to call me back. Bottom line: Very poor product performance Very poor Customer Service Don’t deal with Roy. He’s nice and promises you the world before you sign and afterwards he is just rude. I’m contemplating taking this matter further. $ 5,700 for a system that performs weak at best is not acceptable. I am going to get a couple of opinions from other solar installers, have them take a look at the system and then offer their opinion.

I called SUNTREK this morning. A girl answered the phone and had me explain what I needed then she put me on hold only to have(without me knowing this) another person to pick up my call and he asked me what I needed after I had already told the girl who answered the phone first. Then I told this guy what I needed. Before giving me any info he asked for my personal tel./addr. which I didn’t give him because I was only getting general information then he asked me to HOLD and then a brand new voice came on the phone to ask me what I wanted. Now this made THREE people who I talked to. Wow! This was the obvious reason why I did NOT want to pursue any possible business dealings with SUNTREK. There are so many companies out there, plz do your research well and don’t settle for the PASSINGTHEBUCKONTHEPHONE when someone is trying to find general information on solar power.
