I hired Rob and Renew Solar in 2013 to install a system at my residence. All together I interviewed 6 other companies to give me their sales pitch, and to tell me about their company and product. The reason why I selected Rob and Renew Solar, was the fact that Rob had all the answers at his finger tip. If he didn’t know, or wasn’t sure about something I wanted to know (which was rather seldom), he made sure to get back to me with the info in a very short amount of time. One has to understand that I am a «whiny, pain in the neck”-customer, simply because I do my homework before meeting with potential contractors, and I expect the same from a person coming to my home. Rob didn’t only have all the answers and all time, he went above and beyond to be patient, professional, and courteous, and to satisfy my…, well, my needy annoyance.
Once we had discussed all the details of the project, Rob and his crew came at the time promised (punctuality — another pet peeve of mine), finished earlier than scheduled, and did an amazing job installing a great system! I am so happy with a product that produces more than promised. Long after everything was said and done, ANY time I called Rob with «follow-​up» questions, he was available to answer in a timely manner. That is what I call great customer service!
I am very happy with the whole experience, and if I had to start over again — Rob and Renew Solar would definitely be the company I’d go to.

Renew Solar Electric installed our solar system two years ago. Our installation was anything but normal. In spite of the issues we had, Rob and his crew worked through them all and installed a system that has reduced my electric bill from about $ 400 in the hottest MONTHS to maybe $ 200 for the YEAR! I had the opportunity to see Rob last week when he appeared at my house and told me that they had detected a problem with the system that was keeping it from generating the maximum electricity that it should. If you’re thinking of installing a solar system forget the big guys and deal with a guy that gets things done and keeps his promises.

Rob installed our solar in 2011. He and his team were incredibly professional, clean and easy to work with. The installation was quick and his estimate for the power production was right on. I recently had a microinverter malfunction and, since he actively monitors his installations, he notified me of the problem before I even noticed it, ordered the replacement and installed it. If only all businesses operated as well has his does!
