I came here for the first time to order one taco de carne asada. I did come at a busy time and it took a little longer than usual. The taco was A-OK, nothing to rave for. The meat was cold and could have used more flavor. It’s ok but not sure if I’d order a taco here again. Seems like the burritos are pretty good so, maybe next time.

Great lunch spot. Go there often. Quick, reasonably priced and super nice workers. This is my go to place to meet up with my wife when I have a little more time for lunch.

This is a review on the food only. I went to a friends birthday party and they catered it as a taco bar. The carne asada was tasty, the chicken moist and flavorful, and the carnitas some of the best I have had in OC. The food was great with a delicious pico de gallon, and nice and chunky guacamole. I like a place that doesn’t require p you off on cheese too. The food was fresh and delicious. One of the owners was present and so kind, I can’t wait to see how other menu items are I the restaurant.

Came in for lunch on a weekday. Ordered the Fajita Salad. It was a very generously portioned salad. However, the salad consisted of lots of lettuce and not enough mix-ins. The chicken was very good. Could use more items in salad or dressing. The salad was lacking true fajita flavors and without dressing ends up more on the dry side. Not the most authentic mexican food you could get. But for a quick lunch in the area it does the job.

Wet shredded beef burrito is excellent. It was pretty busy, but they give a bag a chips to hold you over Til your food is ready. Made fresh!

This place is convenient cause it’s around the corner from my work. For breakfast: I bought the chorizo egg and potato burrito for $ 5 and a some cents. It was really good! They give you chips with it. For lunch: –1 for not adding chips with my $ 4.80 shredded chicken burrito and it was smaller than my breakfast burrito. Nevertheless it was still scrumptious. Would I go back: si

What Mexican food! This is so bad. I paid $ 9 for a steak wet burrito and it’s just steak with ½ pound of can of beans! People are getting ripped off here in lake forest. By far the worse Mexican food in the OC. I thank I’ll just go to Taco Bell next time. Good luck

Conveniently located by my office, this is a regular stop for the work crew. Yummy, relatively quick and friendly service(most of the time). Taco Tuesday $ 2/taco. The enchilladas, flautas, taco and salads are all good. They have 5 – 6 indoors and a nice patio area with another 7 – 8 tables.

Not an Irvine resident. Was here for business for a day. Needed a quick bite and this place was in reach so I went. I happened to be on crutches and before I could get to the door, the owner opened the door for me and warmly welcomed me. He broke down the menu and helped me order the perfect amount of food. Even grabbed me a water and set my food down for me. Then proceeded to take my food and tray to the trash. The food was very tasty. Great portions and really good chips and salsa. Recommend the fajitas and tacos. This place is THEBOMB!

I used to work in an office few blocks away from Rachael’s. I moved to Texas now and One of the things I miss about Irvine is Rachael’s Mexican food. I was a regular here and they remember my name and always knew what I would order and how I would like it. the best Mexican food that I have tasted. All their salads, bowls and burritos are vegetarian(Yes, their refried beans too!!), you can add your choice of meat to anything. I loved this kind of flexibility as I am a vegetarian. My only complaint is that they Close by 3PM everyday and they are closed over weekends! I could never take my friends here :(

This place is right around the corner from my job so it’s very convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I ordered a lunch for my office and everything tasted delicious. I also have ordered lunch for myself twice and enjoyed everything. Had their shredded chicken enchilada combo with rice and beans, Guac, Sour Cream and Pico de Gallo $ 2 extra(don’t think they should charge $ 2 otherwise I would have given them 5 stars). YUMMY — and their hot salsa definitely has a kick to it.

I love this place! And after bringing food back to my office for lunch, I inspired my coworkers to go there frequently. The food is always great, decently priced, and the staff is friendly. They have a lot of vegetarian options which is awesome, and that’s not always easy to find at Mexican restaurants. So good!

Great service, great selection. We were even able to go during Lent for fish selections. The remember faces and names of their patrons and service is quick when you are on a short lunch break.

I have been coming here for 4 years now and can say Rachael’s is really a great Americanized Mexican food place. I don’t know what people really complain about. The staff is delightful, the food is good and fresh, the salads are crispy and yum and the salsas definitely are homemade and delicious! It is kind of a hidden gem in a business park. The prices might seem a bit high for what you get but its definitely a quality meal.

Such a delicious and semi-fast service Mexican food. Chips are delicious, not too salty. Grab your own salsa and pico de gallo, amazing! Their chimichanga was was crispy and flavorful it was amazing. Their guac was just right. Amazing carne asada nachos, the meat was fresh and flavorful for a small place like this. Their chicken and beef enchiladas, oh gosh so drool-worthy! Servers are friendly.

The food is good for the price it’s at. The service is always wonderful! I haven’t really ate at the location as it was always for pick up, but they never take long on an order(15 minutes tops?). The food isn’t always consistent, but the taste is never bad. Their salsas/sauces is a bit bland at times so if you have your own Tapatio or any other hot sauce handy, use that instead.

I shouldn’t have taken so long to write this review. I love Rachael’s for a quick lunch. The food is consistently good and the service is Stellar! Generally, I will get the Diet Tostada and add avocado. A deal at $ 5.25 and a great light lunch. Just the delicious chicken, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. If I want to cheat, I’ll have a crispy taco. If I want to sin, the carne asada quesadilla. With all the restaurants that Irvine Company has kicked out of this business park, I’m happy to know that Rachael’s will be around a while.
