This rating for the food and the service. The boyfriend and I were craving burgers and came by here because he mentioned his brother raves about this place(but he had meant the La Habra location). We ordered the white truffle burger, beer battered zucchinis, the G burger with only less than half the add on items, 2 drinks and fries so we can just make one of them a side order with the drink and fries. I had my dog with me so I waited outside, he went in to order and pay and came back with the receipt. I noticed they still charged the full price for the G burger even though he had only gotten less than half of the add on items they include on it, so he went back inside to tell them and the cashier said«oops they messed up.» They brought the food out and we didn’t get the order of fries until he went back in to ask for it. The burgers were really greasy, and not in a good way. We both got the fried jumbo egg added to our burgers and the yolk on both of the eggs pretty much had the consistency of a scrambled egg and way too over cooked. We both ordered medium rare and the meat was overcooked, if it wasn’t for all the grease dripping off into my hands it would have probably been extremely dry. I had about a quarter of the bun left over when I was finished with mine, the bun was way bigger than the patty. His G burger pretty much crumbled in his hands after the second bite and ended up trashing the remaining half that was left, it was too greasy and destroyed to even bother with leftovers. The white truffle sauce was really good and so were the fries but that was pretty much it, won’t be coming back.

This is by far my FAVORITE burger joint in town!!! You won’t be disappointed, I promise :). As soon as you bite into your burger it just melts in your mouth… the meat is full of flavor and grilled to PERFECTION! I highly recommend the WHITETRUFFLEBURGER(my favorite) or the CAPRESEBURGER. Make it a combo and try their fries or sweet potato! You can’t go wrong with anything here… everything is DELICIOUS

I was skeptical when I was going to take my bf here since he is really picky with burger. I first went to the one in La Habra with my friend and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The one in Irvine was empty at the time I came which was 2PM on Saturday. We got the White Trufflw Burger and G fries. I’m giving this place 3 stars because the service was very friendly. The burger itself is quite disappointing, comparing to the one in La Habra.

The Mrs. was craving a burger and wanted something different than In N Out or establishments(and I’ll explain to you down the line why I used In N Out as an example), so we looked up G Burger on Unilocal and thought to try it out. Located right next to Yogurtland and Thai Chili Spice of the plaza. I like the fact that the establishment is well kept, clean, and the employees are very helpful and friendly. Remember that the Unilocal check in allows you for a free soda, always a great perk. We didn’t want to go over board our first time, so we ordered a Hamburger and a Cheeseburger. No fries, no onion rings, no zucchini fries… trying to be healthy for 2016. You can customize how you want your burger cooked — medium rare, medium, well done… I asked for mine Medium Rare… but I think it came out a little more rare than I was used to. However, the burger was pretty tasty. Upon delivering our burgers, he also asked if we wanted G Burger sauce… which if I’m not mistaken is like a chili aioli sauce… tasted like a combination of spicy, creamy, thousand island sauce… i like it a lot and had a little tiny kick. They have other condiments at the tables, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, sriracha, etc. I wouldn’t mind trying one of their higher end gourmet burgers, however the cost per hamburger quality… you really can’t beat In N Out at($ 2.75 and change) vs G Burger($ 5.95 and change). I’m glad I tried it and didn’t mind paying for it. But I can imagine if their gourmet burgers at $ 10 + falls short on some of the Unilocal reviews. The burgers are massive and greasy so be warned.

Came in with my gf with good spirits. excited to try out something new. We were greeted and scanned over the menu. couple things looked interesting. Me and my gf are big fries fans so the G fries caught our eyes instantly. Since there wasn’t anyone behind us we took a min or two to figure out what would be best to either buy the fries separately or with a combo. After asking the tall male cashier if we could upgrade the combo to include the G fries for an extra fee he informed us its not possible and we would have to order the G fries separately. Which we were totally fine with. So I ordered my burger and G fries together so that my gf could order the combo and we could share the drink that way. Last min she changed her mind and decided to cancel her combo to order separately as well and get zucchini fries. Love her! We sat and waited. it didn’t take too long until our burgers came out. We received our regular burger with a fried egg and mushroom burger with the zucchini fries. I figured my fries had alot of fixes so it may take longer. So we waited a bit since we wanted to take a foodgasm pic with everything together but decided take pictures of the foods individually and started eating there after. After having eaten half of my burger already we were surprised the fries haven’t come out by now. I then went to the counter and asked if my fries were still coming out. I was approached by a young female cashier that said she would look into it. I sat down and we watched the manager/cook run to the register in a not-so-inconspicuous manner and checked thru the past receipt. Seconds later, the manager had the young female cashier come to our table and explained to us that we never placed that order in a somewhat informal manner(kinda rude way to say it was our fault but if we still want it we could still pay at the register to order it now). Soured by that conversation, we decided to pass on it even tho we did want the fries. Had she explained it differently as to accept the blame as an error on their part we might have considered going thru with the order. A better option would have been for the manager to have explained it what had happened. which I’m sure would have done a better job. Or at the very least the male cashier could have sincerely apologize that he made a mistake. instead of clearly dismissing the whole situation as our mistake. Customer service really sucks when the manager doesn’t man up to resolve a situation and rather have his employees take care of it. Reallyyyy disappointed. We would have been regulars here since the food was ok(slightly greasy. but that’s how I like it). Oh well they have two other locations. then again there’s farmer boys. :)

First off, food took 20 minutes. Really irritating since it was fast food. He ended bringing us the burgers and the fries where another 10 minutes. Then he realized he forgot our second order of fries. That took another 5 minutes. We got two burgers and some fires, nothing crazy. That really turned me off because we were in a hurry and ended waiting as long as a gourmet restaurant. Food was good. Toppings where normal, nothing. High quality. Couldn’t justify it for the price I paid for the burgers. Fries were good. Other than that, can’t really say much. Customer service was really nice. The order just took forever…

Wow! I had my eyes on the white truffle burger here and finally had the opportunity to taste it. Definitely one of the most savory burgers I’ve had in a while. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. They cook the patty perfectly to your liking and use just the right amount and types of sauces. They also have many options for extra toppings, so I don’t see how anyone could just settle for a boring plain burger here. I’ve yet to try any of their sandwiches(and don’t know if I ever will order one over a burger) but they look pretty good, as well as the sides. Come here hungry! You will not be disappointed

G Burger is located in the Tustin/Irvine Marketplace right off of the 5 freeway in Tustin. It is directly next to Class 302 and the same plaza as Lazy Dog and Taps. I’ve been wanting to try this place for the longest time because I always pass by it as I go to Class 302 for boba. However, never got the chance to until a few weeks ago. We ordered several burgers and each tried it to compare. I honestly think that the burgers were good because they cook it to your liking(medium, well done, medium-well, etc), but for the price, I think I would rather go to other gourmet burger places. I spent more than $ 40 for 3 burgers, garlic parmesan fries, 2 drinks, and onion rings. I was surprised when the cashier told me how much I owed! Garlic parm fries $ 5. Very crispy and each fry had some parm on it, which was surprising because not many places do that. It was good, but I’m not sure if it was worth $ 5. Maybe if it was $ 3 because of the small portion. Even expensive restaurants aren’t $ 5 for that size! Onion rings were also $ 5. There were small and big pieces, which seems standard. The crunch of it was tasty and the breading was also good. However, $ 5 again for the portion did not seem to be worth it for me. G Fire Burger $ 9: the burger itself wasn’t too spicy, but the sauce that it came with was FIRE. Literally, fire. For some other reason though, the burger was making my stomach upset and I couldn’t finish eating it. Meat was good. cook on it was ok. Garlic Spinach Burger $ 9: Seemed to be the best bet out of the three burgers that I tried. Meat was juicy and the cook on it was better than my G Fire that I had to eat. After a while, the spinach became extremely soggy from the juice of the burger, which made it difficult. Caprese Burger $ 9: Cheese, tomato, avocado, arugula, and garlic aioli sauce. I think that this was almost a standard burger plus the aioli. I don’t know if adding a fancy name to it and slabbing on $ 9 for it was really worth it. It was almost better just getting the regular cheeseburger for $ 6. Tip: Check-in for a free drink.

TIP: 10% off coupon: Meh. I think it’s a bit over priced for the taste. I think the Habit taste a lot better for only half the price. I got white truffle burger. I barely tasted the truffle. It seemed a bit heavy on the mushroom side which might have negated the taste. In addition we got Garlic Parmesan Fries, another meh. It taste like straight curly fries with Parmesan(the one you put on spaghetti) on top of it. Overall a meh, I’d rather go to the Habit or if I want to spend the same I’d go to Umami Burger.

I love burgers. Like, if I could have a different burger a day for the rest of my life, I’d be a happy camper. It’s the week between Christmas and New Years, and we wanted to try a couple of new places to eat. Gotta eat well before those resolutions, am I right? We stopped at G Burger, and had two great burgers. Plus great service, and great music! The man had a fire burger, and said it was delicious. When he bit into it, you could see the steam-heat rising off of it. Freshly made, and with the perfect proportion of toppings? Awesome. I had cheeseburger and added bacon and onion rings. Ohhh my was it good! Crispy thick bacon, and two huge onion rings on top of a perfectly cooked medium patty. It was sandwiched in there with tomato, lettuce/spinach mix, red onion, pickles, their house burger sauce, and cheese. My goodness it was good! Also had a side of their house fries with the sauce and grilled onions. YUM! Definitely try this place out!

It was good. I think a couple small changes and it would be great. Cashier, very nice and helpful. Price. Good. Only soda… wish beer. Onion rings-great. Fries-great. Kids nuggets, a little crispy but you get a lot! And great price. Caprese burger, good but could use a little more flavor. Cheeseburger. Good, but only sweet pickles… no way! Medium was more med rare. We will be back.

I was very impressed with the burger. It was tender juicy and flavorful. Disappointed with the garlic parm fries– the battering was not good and they have little garlic parm flavor. I would compare it to the habit and g burgers, burger definitely beats habit. The flavor, composition and toppings were slightly gourmet without being obnoxious.

After hearing lots of good things about G-Burger, finally had a chance to try it after a workout. I ordered the white truffle burger with egg. While it is big, the flavor was a bit too salty and greasy for me. All it came to mind as I ate was… I’m eating oil and grease. At least the egg made it better. I’d say Bachi Burger is still hard to beat.

Every time I come here I am never disappointed. So far from the G Burger, Turkey Burger, Truffle Burger, and the different fries they have, everything is really good. You’re not paying too much either. It’s literally is a gourmet burger, but not at a gourmet price. So far, It’s almost on the level of Gordon Ramsey Burger. But not quite lol. So I find that G Burger and In N Out is compared often. This makes sense though since some of the menu items are styled similarly. What I will say though is that they are on the same level. I just wanted to make a point that you get about twice the quality for twice the price.

Located near Class 302 in the District?(Actually not even too sure) — past Bryan tho on Jamboree, G Burger is there with a simple menu to serve you delicious burgers. G Fire Burger($ 9) — 100% angus beef & pepper jack cheese. Red & green chiles, grilled onion, roasted bell peppers, house spicy aioli on side. Man is it spicy. It’s spicy, leaks a lot of juices, and will make you USE the free Unilocal check in of a soda. I got it medium rare and it was indeed medium rare– red was still in the middle of the meat, making the angus beef even more delicious and NOT dry. The red and green chiles were really strong: P It was a really good flavor, picante, strong, flavorful as well. It’s something that you can slowly eat if you really like hot stuff, or you can eat quickly if you’re like me and just need the fire to go away(I’m not really that much on the fire scale for my tongue). Good flavorful, and the cheese… mhm mhm mhm. Probably fattening. But when it goes down, you forget it(:

Can I tell you, I’d come just for their sweet potato fries & sauce! Love that sauce. I decided to try the turkey burger this time. Wow! It did not disappoint! Loved the Rosemary turkey flavor & then all the topping & sauce was delicious! Such great flavor burgers!!! Delicious! I usually get the GFire burger, excellent as well!

The portions are significantly larger than the La Habra location, and I’m sad to say the bread was all wrong… This turned out to be a short lived excitement as I bit into my first tantalizing bite. The flavors, at first, were good and reminded me of the burger in La Habra. Later I realized it was definitely the mayo sauce. However, after eating a few more bites, the fantasy quickly faded and I was left forcing myself to shove it down. I ended up just taking the bread off to eat the patty and mushrooms, but still, at the end, I couldn’t muster enough of my appetite to finish it. The fries were as expected, I think the portions were slightly larger than La Habra so that was nice. They have that new fry technique all the newer joints have been trying out, not sure if it’s a batter or a double fry or what, but it’s good! I’ve never not finished a burger before, so I’m sad to say I won’t be back. It was initially delicious, but just couldn’t live up to the La Habra location. Boo.

Located in The Marketplace next to Yogurtland, Class 302, Daphne’s, etc. You order and pay at the cashier then they’ll give you a number to bring your food when it’s ready. Service was quick and friendly. I read other reviews about their burgers being overcooked but ours came out just as we asked, medium G Fire burger $ 9-bell peppers, chiles, pepper jack, onion, chipotle aioli; they serve the aioli on the side so when I received my food I thought it was for the fries. I just assumed the sauce would be on the burger so if I ate it with the sauce that may have been better. Without the sauce I didn’t think it had enough flavor and was not spicy at all. White Truffle burger $ 9– mushrooms, bell peppers, asiago, garlic aioli, and white truffle oil; S.O. didn’t think it had enough flavor so he had to add sriracha, but it was cooked well Garlic parmesan fries $ 5– fries, garlic, parmesan; best thing we ordered, the fries were cooked perfectly. Simple and tasty.

I’m no stranger to paying good money for a burger, so I was excited to try a new place with some friends. For our sides we ordered the parmesan and garlic fries and their standard fries. I prefer the standard fries. I thought the parmesan and garlic took too much of the crisp away from the fries and it wasn’t thoroughly mixed in. I preferred the zucchini sticks and sweet potato fries over their potato French fries. We ordered the Caprese and white truffle burger. Both burgers were cooked to order, had an excellent amount of meat, and were substantial in size as well. 3.5 stars upped to 4 because our service was good. G Burger isn’t my favorite, but it adds excellent variety to my burger list.
