Here I am complaining about chipotle again… Today I went in and got a bowl. When the woman scooped a full scoop of chicken, put half the scoop in the bowl and threw the rest out for some reason, I asked the woman for a dash more chicken since she didn’t give a full scoop and about a third of the bowl was covered. She asked«you want to pay extra?» I said«no I just want to have a chicken bowl not half a chicken bowl.» She then rolls her eyes at me and tosses three chopped up pieces into the bowl like that did anything at all. I decided to not fight it until she put on five pieces of cheese on it and, when I asked for more, she reluctantly did so like her job of creating bowls to people’s satisfaction was not her job. Another stingy chipotle. Should have expected it from Irvine. Booooooooooooooo

I recently came to this chipotle maybe about 4 – 5 days ago. When im at school this chipotle is about the same distance from the one in barranca, however is typically more slow aka faster service. I walked in pleased to see there was no line however was very disappointed and angry leaving. The girl who was assembling my burrito bowl was super rude and doesn’t know how to provide decent customer service. When asking me what kind of beans i politely repeated light black beans about two times. Then the girl proceeds to put a huge scoop of pinto beans in my bowl, when i tell her i wanted black she leaves the pinto beans in there and puts two full scoops of black beans. First of all i wanted light black beans in the first place and now i had way too many beans. She didn’t apologize or even attempt to make it right. Honestly the pinto beans in my bowl made it taste awful. I wish i got her name because she is the worst person to have as a face of chipotle. Hopefully she doesnt give as bad service to other guests as she gave to me.

This location is horrible. There is group of employees who clearly just don’t care about their job, and it shows In the food. Half the times I’ve gone the rice or beans aren’t cooked all the way, and the food is extremely inconsistent. Their portions are a joke! I don’t eat a lot so it doesn’t really bother me cause I can’t eat a whole bowl or burrito BUT you are paying to get the portion you should be getting. Compared to other chipotles, I would say you are getting at least half what you get at other locations. Especially when it comes to meat/protein. One day I ordered tacos and I literally has 4 tiny pieces of steak in my tacos. For $ 10 bucks for a meal it should have a decent amount of meat on it. If you ask for more they give you a nasty attitude or tell you it will be an extra charge. They even go as far at this location that when someone asks for more meat they put one of those little plastic cups on top to make sure the Cashier knows to charge you extra. He employees act like the cost of the food is coming out their pockets directly or something. I really wonder if management is either a) offering bonuses or rewards for cutting their costs on ingredients, or b) threatening their employees so they have no choice. I dunno either way but they sure act like they are paying for it personally. They will leave some food just sitting there after you can clearly tell it’s been sitting there getting old, there is just zero pride in the food. I could give more examples but you get the point. We don’t come to this location anymore even though it close to our house. Love chipotle just not this one.

Chipotle server definitely skimped on my order a gave me so much attitude. Not only did they forget to give me part of my order, they didn’t even ask if I wanted chips or a drink. I shouldn’t have to walk into a restaurant and feel like I’m the one that’s «ruining» their day with service. Don’t usually come to this location and don’t plan on coming back

I love chipotle. During my last pregnancy it’s all I could eat. This location is the worst. It’s the closest to us, so we keep eating here for convenience but it always ends badly. We’ve had multiple bad experiences. I ordered a veggie burrito bowl to go(it comes with guac), and it had no guac. This is the third time this has happened, once being in store and I asked if it comes with it and they said yes. I hate this location. Don’t go to this one, go to the one on Newport.

Very clean location and always fast service. I love Chipotle, but some at locations the chicken doesn’t taste right, like they didn’t season it enough. The meats always taste good and you don’t get skimped out on portions. Definitely my favorite go to for a healthier option when eating out.

It greatly pains me to write this because I love Chipotle so much, and this was the first location I tried my first burrito bowl at the age of 12. I’ve always thought that this Chipotle location was the best of the best, and I’ve always compared all the other ones to their quality of food. However lately, every single time I’ve been here, the taste of the food has been very inconsistent and disappointing. The last time I was here a couple days ago, I couldn’t even get through half of the bowl without throwing it away because it tasted so gross. If there’s anything you should know about me, it’s that I ALWAYS finish my Chipotle in one sitting and I have never not finished a burrito bowl. I also felt really gross afterwards despite not finishing it, but that could’ve been because of, ya know, e.coli. Sadly, I will be going on a Chipotle-fast until they get their shit together.

One of our food got served one piece of raw chicken. Instead of taking the whole case of their chicken out to check they asked us if it’s only one piece of our chicken that is raw and ask us if we would like them to make us a new one. Should have fix the problem better and without asking us if we want us the problem to be fix especially since with the recent outbreak accidents. Poor management and training of their employees.

This chipotle is the worst! If you don’t ask for extra toppings, you will get almost no food! I had to ask for extra fajita veggies three times to get the normal portion amount. The customer service here is absolutely horrific. About an hour ago, we went in to grab a bite for dinner. There was a larger blonde girl that was most likely a manager/supervisor out of uniform eating a piece of her round table pizza in the food prep area/register area. She obviously thought her friend’s crispy chicken taco(«ONLYONION!»), side of white rice, sour cream, and guacamole was more important than the other customers in line. Also, crispy chicken taco eater(«ONLYONION!») was super rude to he girl working the register and was saying something about her receipt in a very demeaning way. The girl at the register seemed really sweet. I felt bad for her being subjected to that kind of treatment. After blonde girl was done ordering the employees how to make the crispy chicken taco(«ONLYONION!»), she went to the back with slice of pizza in hand and came back with a bucket of ice to fill the ice machine. There was NO way she had time to wash her hands. DISGUSTING!!! I will definitely not be returning here. I will go out of my way to ANY other Chipotle. I will also be filing a complaint about this location. This last visit was simply appalling.

Chipotle used to be amazing back then, but nowadays it’s just not as good anymore. A lot of stores lack the flavorful ingredients from the past, but this location consistently has better taste in my opinion. It’s in a convenient location with plenty of parking and the lines moves very quickly.

I find myself frustrated because I love Chipotle’s food but consistently have terrible service at all Irvine locations– especially this one. Today was one of the worst during lunch time. The women who were helping were incredibly rude, did not help me in anyway, and brushed me aside as my boyfriends bowl was forgotten about and at least three or four people moved forward and purchased their meals before we did. They completely stopped helping us mid order. I’ve had such bad service from the women who work here more than once and it honestly makes me question the quality of the food as well. They’re so spiteful, they don’t care what you have to say, they seem like they hate working there and if they don’t care about the quality of the experience then they sure as hell don’t care about what you’re eating. The overall experience was terrible and a final straw for me. I will not return to this location for a very long time. There are establishments in the area that treat their customers like the human beings that they are and they deserve the business from us. Chipotle– amazing food but consistently terrible service. And I get it, working at Chipotle probably isn’t grand and I’m sure there are tons of difficult customers(I too have worked in the food industry so I know this is a definite) but the extreme apathy and shitty attitude I have to experience is enough to kill any Chipotle craving for me. I’ve been coming to this location for 10 years now and it’s never been as bad as it has been this past year. I hope they get it together soon.

The employees here need to get their $h!t together. They are confused by their own menu. Yes, it happened to be very crowded here when I was here. However, that’s no excuse. I ordered two kids meals, one was the build-your-own taco meal. The guy says, «What sides?» So I think he means side items, not your taco filling. I ask, «Can we do guac instead of a side?» He says yes. So I say, «Okay, rice and guac.» Then I get to the meat guy. He proceeds to tell me that guac was my substitute for«meat» filling for the taco, even though I told him that the other guy said it could be a side. I said, «well, I still need meat.» He says, okay, but it will be $ 2 for the guac. I wasn’t about to make them scoop it off the plate, so I said, «fine, but if I’m paying for a side of guac, then I should get one more side.» He looked at me like I was from fricken’ Mars. The complexity of that apparently blew his mind. He started to argue with me, that I got my three items(meat, guac, and rice), and I said, but I’m paying for one of them!(Mind you it was a tiny scoop of guac.) Finally, I feel the seering eyes of the next person on me, and I say forget it. Then I get to checkout girl. She says, «Oh, you ordered guac?» So she charges me the $ 2 and hands me a little cup of guac. I slid it back to her and said, «No, I didn’t ask for extra! But I would like my third side.» She looks at the kids meal, then blank stare at me. Whatever. I paid and walked away. It wasn’t worth it to fight with teenagers who can’t think. The food tasted fine, though the chicken is a little spicy. The line is slow, even though you would think with that many people behind the counter it would be quicker. My other complaint is that they only have one salad dressing choice. Lame. Won’t be back to this location.

I love chipotle. It’s a great place that you can get nearly anywhere! My friends and I did a late workout and were scattering to find a «healthy» place to replenish. We were throwing around the idea of innout but then *ding* we thought of chipotle! It was about 4 minutes before closing when I got there. There were still people inside dining and the food was not put away yet so I finally took a deep breath(rushing to get there) and began to order. As I looked up at the kind gentleman that was taking our order I realize these two young ladies behind the counter as well and one of them ONTOP of the counter. I get it, counters need to be cleaned up top but I mean can’t you do that when there’s no customers inside? I always order chips but I saw the girls foot hit so many bags of them and I was so disgusted thinking about what else they probably don’t care about. The two girls continued their playful conversation with each other after seeing me snap a photo. EW. I’m literally floored. If you’re going to be unsanitary and dirty around food prep areas and handle my food. Please just don’t do be so obvious about it!): won’t be returning to this location and if you see the pic, I wouldn’t go there if I were you. Thank you to the nice guy who took our order though, seriously– SO nice!

Food is consistent here, but the service is always lacking :(there is a lack of urgency at this location, and the customer service is one of the biggest faults. I always try to make a conversation, and be understanding that this location is very busy, however, the staff is not friendly. On August 11, 2015, I walked inside, hoping to get a decent meal and a give the staff another chance. I was not greeted with a «warm welcome», and as I was choosing what sides I wanted for my bowl, the woman who was helping me did not ever make eye contact. She rather ignored my attempt to make a conversation with her, asking«how are you?» Discerned already by two employees, the last 2 who helped me barely made it any better. The tall man ignored my just general small talk, was chit chatting with his coworkers, and made me want to get out of the place as fast as I can. I do not think that Chipotle trains their employees this way, but rather the employees at this specific store have failed Chipotle’s kind demeanor, which is what other stores have.

I came in for lunch and ordered a Salad. The employee(I didn’t get his name, but he was very nice) informed me it would be about 5 minutes for lettuce and gave me the option of shredded lettuce. I opted to wait. Upon completion of my order, the young girl at the counter asked if I was the one waiting for the lettuce, when I told her I was, she said my salad was complimentary. Now that’s 5 star service! Thank you Chipotle, for rewarding me in my effort to of not ordering a burrito, which i love! I guess eating healthy does pay off, pun intended.

Declining Portions: When we moved to the area, we were happy about this location. Portions were as expected. Recently though, they have not only raised the prices, but have really started to skimp on the portions. I got a bowl with steak and they gave a half scoop(I counted 6 pieces. This is way less than normal. I told the woman that this was not enough and she told me that I would need to pay for«Double Meat»??? NO! This was paying double for a single portion. Here is the business model: Get the regular traffic up, then when you are busy, raise the prices and cut the portions to «Maximize Profits». So Greedy! Disgusting: Every time I get a burrito, I need to request they create a custom 13″ foil for cleanliness. The tortillas are 12″ and the regular foils are 8″ and the large foils are 10″. This means that 2″ to 4″ of your tortilla gets dragged across the gross dirty countertop acting like a sponge, soaking up all of the little dried crusty bits of everyone else’s order accumulated throughout the day left there to dry-out and cool to room temperature. Food poisoning anyone? Sorry, but I don’t want the free samples of E. Coli wiped all over the outside of my burrito. Whenever I ask for the larger foil, they always give me a look like«I’m too difficult.» Well let me drag your dinner through a disease filled garbage and see how you feel then. Options: I don’t know if this is a corporate store or a franchise, but I’m very disappointed. When you start to treat customers like people and not just a nuisance to just get out the door, then I might think about bringing my family back. In the meantime, I’ll be down at Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill at The District. They are nice, the food is more flavorful, there are more options, there is no line and they don’t charge for chips. Why didn’t I do this before?

I love me some Chipotle, and the food here is what you would expect, but the service is truly hit or miss. PROS: — Typical Chipotle setup and goodness — They will usually pile on as much stuff as you ask for(extra grilled peppers, multiple salsas, extra lettuce) so that your burrito barely fits into one tortilla. CONS: — The lines can be absurd and filled with people who act like they’ve never been to Chipotle before causing a major backup and lines to, or even out, the door. — When the lines are long the service level seriously declines and they skimp on the toppings. — They always seem to be out of carnitas. — Good luck getting an online or phoned order to turn out right. These are invariably screwed up.

Good Chipotle location. I can tell that it is well managed and operates with high efficiency. I come here often and the food is always on point… the staff is professional and courteous… the serve reasons portions of the meat /protein options. The location is perfect… it’s right off of Irvine Blvd and Culver.
