The best fresh salsa bar of any restaurant in this category. Delicious food. My favorite is the burrito ultimo… it’s huge! Great value.

Pleasant staff. It wasn’t very fast, for a fast-food eatery. Unfamiliar with their menu, I went with something«big», their featured Crave-A-Bowl, with grilled shrimp, which was surprisingly a decent portion, generous on the shrimp, and full of flavors. Complimentary chips(crispy, but bland) accompany the meal, if desired. The tables, drinks and accompaniments stations were appreciatively clean. For the price, presentation, and atmosphere, there are other Mexican eateries I favor more.

Was in the area and I wanted something familiar to me, so I said, «why not Baja Fresh.» Staff was friendly when ordering. Food came out at a reasonable time, but the food was not fresh at all. My sister order a steak bowl and the carne asada tasted like burnt charcoal and couldn’t really eat what she ordered. I ordered the carnitas bowl and it was just overpowering with salt tried mixing it with the veggie, but it was too salty for me. Don’t think I would purchase any food here any time soon.

I ordered a burrito party pack and taco party pack online first thing this morning, for an office lunch today. The food was ready right on time and delicious, especially the steak burritos. Plates, napkins, forks etc were included and everything was packaged to make it easy to get in and out of the car. A good value!(The only think missing were serving utensils for the rice, beans & salad.)

I usually enjoy coming here, but my last visit was very disappointing. I ordered two crispy fish tacos, and what I ended up with was with two fish strips on top of a bunch of cabbage. Super stingy with the fish portions. I felt robbed especially when my meal was almost $ 10 no drink included. What a rip off. I left angry and hungry(hangry)

This is my Ultimo Burrito WITHOUT grilled peppers. Glad to see that even though you choose your options the restaurant does what it wants. Oh and btw they left out the cheese too. I’m a huge fan of Baja Fresh especially after the Undercover Boss episode but incorrect orders make me CRAZY! The upside my order, although wrong, was at least ready when I got there.

Gets the job done when you’re craving Mexican food. Usually get the baja burrito with chicken and shrimp. Great selection of fresh salsa. Friendly staff. Definitely try your burrito enchilado style.

Surprised to see only three stars. Customer service is very friendly. The food is always consistent and very good. The salad bar is very clean. And It has a wonderful outdoor patio to enjoy your meal. I think this is a solid four star. My favorite is the grilled shrimp chili lime salad. It is $ 8.99 and very delicious with a very large portion.

After two steak grilled soft tacos, rice, beans, chips and salsa, I always leave here satisfied. The portion size is good, prices reasonable and everything tasty.

This place is horrid! The service is not really friendly, the staff seemed annoyed when my mom asked a question about the menu. The chips were ridiculously salty as hell. I had to drown myself with water after a single chip. The meat was horrible and flavorless. McDonalds and Del Taco had better food than this place. I would give this place zero stars if possible.

Seriously?! When I asked them to give me my money back and they said they did… they actually charged me a second time for the messed up order instead of giving me my money back! So I payed twice for something I didn’t even want in the least bit!

How Could You Do This to A Unilocaler! First off, service here was aweeesssome: They greet you as you step in. Le me break it down now: Order 1 Large steak nachos 1) Chips: Ugh, wtf is this crap(worst than a bag of thrown away tortilla chips in a dumpster somewhere in Tijuana) 3)Guacamole: …at least it was edible 4) Cheese: ooh-wee, this been processed a gazillion time to give it that cardboard taste 5) Steak: flavorless and soulless. How could you do this to my cows! My parents taught me 2 things: figure skating, and to never ever throw away my food. Sadly, today was the first time in my life I,.I,.I, just couldn’t finish it. I am a defect and a failure(Waaa!). Usually I can forced myself to eat anything, but my body was warning me Dont do it fool, if you take the last bite say sayonara to your liver… and your worthless life. F-U body, who the F do you think you are, you think you know me, son… ok, I give up. Words of Wisdom: I thought chipotle and wahoos suck, only a sucker would eat here. Hadouken!!!

The food did not look nor taste fresh at all. This is my third time trying this Baja Fresh hoping it was a singular incident, but after this time, I had to say something. The vegetables in the burrito were stale tasting and the tomatoes were spongy and mushy. I mentioned it to an employee working there, asking if there might be other poco de gallo that wasn’t so mushy in the back. She said it was the batch of tomatoes they got. I just feel that if you are going to represent something as fresh, you should check with your produce guy and make sure you get top notch ingredients. I think I am personally done with Baja Fresh but hope others had a better experience.

If you like overpriced food and then like to be nickel and dimed then this is the place you want to go. Other than the food being sub par and unimpressive, you will have the pleasure of barely getting the essentials to enjoy your food. Because I’m trying to be a good girl and cut down on my soda binges, I asked for a cup of water to go. Patti, the manager, gave me a small plastic cup. When I asked if they had a cup with a lid, she just responded with a «no». I mean come on! …is it too much to ask for a lid so I don’t spill my drink… I guess it is at Baja fresh. When I picked up my food, I realized my burrito was just wrapped in foil, I asked for a small bowl so I can dip my burrito in salsa. I was refused the bowl and given the 3oz condiment containers. I guess I won’t be able to dip my burrito the way I prefer. And now that I’ve been knocked down twice already, I was even afraid to ask for a plate. BTW don’t complain to the manager Patti cause she’ll give you an attitude right back. So much for customer service at Baja fresh. So for $ 8.50 for a burrito that is half the size, 1⁄3 the weight, more expensive and less tasty than Chipotle, I don’t know what possessed me to try out Baja Fresh. But you can be sure that I won’t make that mistake twice. At least at Chipotle, I won’t be hassled when I want want a plate or a container. And you prefer to eat out of a bowl or plate, you won’t be given the third degree. God forbid that I want to eat my burrito off a plate or a bowl… I mean who has even heard of such a thing! Oh yeah, at Chipotle they’ll give you a water cup with a lid and a smile… All you have to do is ask. So save the hassle and disappointment that you will get at Baja fresh and enjoy your meal at Chipotle. You won’t feel nickel and dimed… plus its less expensive than Baja fresh… plus it tastes a whole lot better and you get a whole lot more food… and for those of you who don’t like Chipotle, I think you will like Baja fresh much less… and that’s before the horrible service you’ll receive to top off the overall bad experience.

Baja Fresh mostly serves tacos since that is what the other members of my party order while eating at this food court. The majority of their offerings include avocado so when I eat the food of my party I usually walk out with better health than before. The food doesn’t come out very quickly(or at least it’s «normal» for this food court since sometimes whoever orders doesn’t have the food when when I do). Internally, they have a salsa bar and all-you-can-drink drinks. They seem to pay one no mind if one sits outside and continuously walks in and out to get either of them, nor do they seem to care if the person that did not order picks the food up. On the Irvine Company website, they have two different coupons:$ 2 off $ 8 and $ 5 off $ 15. The latter has a greater basic savings of 33% so we use it all the time by getting more food and sodas.

Over spicy vegetables waaaaay too much pepper my mouth was burning 15 minutes. No advice to get salsa for my to go items, 2 stars for making sure my order was right after cooks screwed it up twice. Basically del taco has better food. .very bland here… i could have made it at home… too expensive for the quality.

The food is very good. I love how they always keep the salsa and dips stocked up and their quesadillas are to die for. They have a clean restaurant and overall good enviroment. The reason they only get 2 stars is because of their terrible staff and service. The first cashier that took my order wore wayy to much makeup that was flaking off(its very uncomfortable to look at for me) and her fake eyelashes looked like they would fall into my food at any moment. She calculated the total wrong and gave me the wrong change. look i would understand if they were busy. The place was almost empty and she simply didn’t pay enough attention to me, her customer, because she was too busy chatting with her fellow workers about her ex-boyfriend. Yeah, nice to know. Not that i needed toknow that. Anyways, so she couldn’t figure out what the right change was which brought the manager over who also stood there for ten minutes trying to figure it out. Okay you’re dumb and rude? Wow, talk about great customer service. So after about ten minute!, people started coming in and were all waiting for us to finish because apparently there was only one cashier. When they finally figured it out, they didn’t apologize for the trouble but instead shot me an annoyed look. Honestly, the only reason they get their 2 stars is because of their food and simply that ONLY. I’m positive i won’t be going there again unless their entire staff changes to some people decent.

Wow. I haven‘t had Baja Fresh since I was in university, and that was… geez, about a decade ago! After wandering around Home Depot, we walked in and felt like trying something different. I remember the Baja chicken burrito being my absolutely favorite thing to eat during late night study sessions. I ordered it and wondered if ten years would have resulted in a change in the recipe and preparation. Nope! Same as before! Amazing. I was astounded by the quality and consistency of Baja maintaining their products and customer expectations. No, it‘s not real Mexican food and it‘s closer to Californian cuisine than anything remotely south of the border, but that‘s okay since I don‘t really like Mexican food anyway. I loaded up every bite with some lime, pico de gallo, and cilantro, and I was so happy. He ordered the fish tacos and normally he‘s unhappy with the quality at other places, but he said the fish was very light and clean. Even the fried fish taco was light and crispy. Dining area was very clean. Salsa bar was also kept tidy. Soda area was wiped down and not sticky. Service was friendly and food came out quickly despite how busy they were. I liked the floor to ceiling windows. They made the room feel open and refreshing. I‘m not a big fan of eating out at places like this, but I‘ll probably be back before another decade passes by.
