Well, the stock photo they show of a woman smiling high up on a ladder surely isn’t accurate. My husband and I contacted Budget blinds to get an in home consultation because they were one of the few dealers of a certain product we were looking for. I received a call from the rep and was setting up our appointment when I mentioned we have a few high windows(we have 20 foot ceilings in our living room) and she let me know they do not do high windows. Apparently her husband, who does the installation, injured himself falling off of a ladder and won’t do it anymore. While I totally sympathize with this and would not want to get back on a high ladder either — this is a window covering business! People have high windows! If you’re not comfortable installing blinds on high windows — hire someone else who is! Since Budget Blinds has a few regional operations, I figured I’d just try a different location, but unfortunately I can only use the Irvine one because I’m in their area. What the heck? Bottom line: If you live in the Irvine area and have higher than average windows, Budget Blinds can’t help you.
