Came in here to try on a pair of earbuds before buying them. Of course an employee was on us like white on rice to see what he could help us out with. I told him what I was looking for and what I preferred in my headphones, and despite me saying that I like a well balanced sound, he kept pushing the exercise earbuds on me because they have a stronger bass. That’s not what I wanted! Not to mention he did mention one of the complaints about those headphones: that sound can leak into them. His fix was to buy those and then get the replacement ear pads for the sound cancelling line. But in doing that, it would just be $ 10 more to get the mid-range headphones that were, in my opinion, balanced to my liking. Why would he pitch to me something that a) was what I told him I didn’t want and b) something that was CHEAPER than what I was looking at?! I was just confused by the whole process. And then there’s the noise level. I hate how they always have to blast sound. How am I supposed to test out what I’m looking at when someone next to me is blasting something at a level an area rock show would be jealous of? I walked outta that store with a headache. Honestly, it makes me so angry that Bose is always doing this and why I really thought twice before going in. Be reasonable, people. No one is going to be playing something that loud in their home!

This is an actual brick-and-morter store for Bose products. Thankfully the products are more exciting that the enthusiasm the staff shows to their customers. That said, I love my noise canceling headset, it is phenomenal!

I went to the Bose store at Irvine Spectrum to check whether they would repair my QC25 headphones; I bought them from Dubai Airport Duty Free 10 months ago and now the right side is not making any sound. The sales person took my headphones, tried them very quickly, scanned them to check if they were still under warranty, and without asking any questions, handed me brand new ones with a new receipt, means new warranty for another year. That exceeded my expectations! Great customer service! keep it up!

I have over $ 20,000 in Bose products and have always had good customer service with my products when something fails. But I went into this store and 2 guys, 1 named Ryan were absolutely no help at all. I trouble shoot for a living and these guys didn’t know anything. They kept trying to talk down to me like I’m an idiot and I work for them. Horrible customer service here. I had had some good service here about one year ago. Whoever is managing this store now has failed. I will either buy from Amazon or the fashion island store. Avoid The Spectrum location store! Update: Still giving this store 1 star(deserves 0 stars) but I did want to update that after I got home I called Bose customer support and they took care of me. Offered to replace the cable with no charge at all :-) I love Bose, just won’t go back to this store at the Spectrum.

Great little Bose store in one of my favorite OC malls! I have purchased the Soundlink Mini and the new Bose SoundTrue earbuds. The big benefit to buying items in store is that the staff registers it for warranty on site. This is so important because Bose has the best warranties. My headphones usually break within a year because of heavy use and they have always replaced them, often with newer models. This has let me get new headphones almost annually at no charge.

John Torres was super helpful at this location and I want to thank him for his help during a hectic holiday season. I had purchased a new receiver for my husband for Christmas and our Bose Cinemate didn’t work with it. I called this Bose store and John helped walk me through a great solution to my issue. I returned the new receiver and went to the Bose store with our old Cinemate system and John explained that I could upgrade to the Soundtouch 120 which we LOVE! John even brought it out to our vehicle so we didn’t have to lug a giant heavy box through the mall. He was very helpful, both in store and on the phone. He explained all the features and benefits the system had clearly and we really do love it. Thank you so much!

I am so impressed with this Bose store and the way they treat you when you enter. I have bought three sound touch 30 units from them and one was not working and nine months later they replace it no questions asked.

I recently made a trip to the Irvine Spectrum with my husband and children, we had no intention of visiting the Bose store. We ended up stopping in to check out the wireless speaker systems. The Assistant Manager assisted us, he was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and patient. We ended up purchasing a speaker system; had this associate not interacted with us in such a manner we most likely would have just browsed and walked out. Thank you for the great service! The speaker we purchased is great too. ;)

I have recently been in the market for some new headphones(my old ones have started peeling around the earphones) and my wife suggested we check out the new Bose store at Spectrum. Bose Corporation is a private company based out of Framingham, Massachusetts in 1964 by Amar Bose. They currently have 8 plants, 153 retail stores and an automobile subsidiary. Bose is primarily known for its loudspeakers, noise canceling headsets and automotive sound systems. In addition, Boss manufactures headphones, amplifiers and has research in automobile suspension technology and cold fusion. Bose owns contracts with the military and their noise-canceling aviation headset were used until recently on the space shuttles to help prevent astronauts from experiencing hearing loss. The store at the Spectrum seems to have a number of their products in store and demonstration devices set up thorough out the store so you could sample their technology. I tried a couple of headsets and found the QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise Canceling Headphones to be my favorite. The customer service person answered all my questions, but I was still unsure about the price point($ 299.95). There was no high pressure sales here and no attempted manipulation. During this same visit to the Spectrum, I checked out some Maui Jim sunglasses at the Sunglass Hut. I haven’t had sunglasses in years and my stepchildren had bought me a Sunglass Hut gift card at Christmas which I was still hanging onto at the time. The following morning my wife made the following proclamation: «I am getting you either the headphones or sunglasses today … you decide which you want.» Rohlinism: Never buy things on impulse, unless you are sure you can return it later. It took me right up to arriving at Spectrum to decide the more logical choice with Fall arriving was the headphones. I probably wouldn’t be needing the sunglasses anytime soon and I might get lucky and find them on sale during the off season. So off to Bose we walked, marched right in, told the customer service person what I wanted and walked out with my new headphones. If you give them your information, they send you a e-mail receipt and will keep record of your purchases in their data base. Anything damage under warranty, return it to the store and they will fix or replace the item. I found the staff here to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. On the second visit, I took a listen to their CineMate 1SR Digital Home Theater Speaker System. It is just a Soundbar and a Wireless Acoustimass Module. The sound is amazing and it is currently on sale for $ 150 off the base price. I know there is some skepticism regarding Bose, some critics believe Bose technology is overpriced and the sound quality is average. After my recent experiences, I believe in Bose and would recommend their products to anyone. Lovin’ the new headphones!
