I love how this store hasn’t changed for as long as I can remember! Still has it’s original vintage vibe, with signing that doesn’t look like it’s been updated since it was installed, the color scheme and layout had been the same as long as I can remember! It’s a fun hodgepodge of merchandise, from tools to panty hose to garden supplies to cleaners to ammo. Things seem to change constantly in selection, at the same time the store seems to never change. Prices can be pretty high, some things are horrendously overpriced while others seem to be marked unbelievably cheap.

I would like to shop the store but I am not driving from North Liberty to find out iif something is on sale or not. The website hasn’t worked for a month or more and since it doesn’t I haven’t been there.

The store contains mostly junk. It’s very dirty. They charge a lot for the junk. I would avoid this store. Even K-Mart is better than Paul’s.

I love to wonder the aisles and just look at the hodge podge of stuff on the shelfs. If it ever closes it’ll be a shame.

Fantastic store where we found everything from novelty hats, to Iowa gear, to horse ware and kitchen utensils. Definitely reminiscent of a farm and fleet in a smaller package that still works very well. Worth checking out for nearly anything you need!

So much more than a hardware store, not quite a department store. Great selection of housewares and outdoor footwear. Great prices, too, and plenty of room to discover just random or weird things they carry. Really weird bag-checking policy that is dogmatically enforced at the front door, though.

What you need? Boots? Plastic ware? Overalls? Sweatshirts? Chips(that’s Doritos or Cedar)? Cookery? Garden hose? Panty hose?(On that, I’m not sure, but chances are good). Blender? Bird seed? Horse feed? Rain barrels? Rodent poison? Come to Paul’s and they’ll hook you up with a smile. An institution.
