We had a great experience with Bella Sala! Beautiful venue, great service! You get what you pay for! QUALITY! They have lists of preferred vendors to use, but you can of course use your own! They do make you choose from their preferred caterers, but they are wonderful options! As for décor, we had no problem bringing in our own & did NOT feel pressured to use the decorations Bella Sala has to offer(like someone previously mentioned in another comment). Bella Sala has a fantastic outdoor waterfall terrace you can have your ceremony in front of, there is also an adorable bridal suite where the bride & bridesmaids can get ready! We loved having everything in one place! It made the day so much better! Overall, loved everything! Thank you to Bela Sala’s wonderful staff!

Prepare to be nickel and dimed. Bella Sala is a beautiful venue with an outdoor waterfall and can host a beautiful event. However, when I got married there I unintentionally doubled my wedding budget which was already substantial. They also got many things wrong and were difficult to work with. They charge you for EVERYTHING and you must give them all the money before you receive their services. Bella Sala wants 100% paid upfront when you make the reservation, for us that was a year ahead! And they don’t give any refund if they are unable to have your wedding, for any reason including fire, strike, severe weather, act of God, etc. All liquor must be purchased from Bella Sala ahead of time, priced 3x+ higher than the supermarket. If you order your liquor ahead of time there are no refunds, and no taking home. —I was charged for a whole case of wine we did not drink. I didn’t get to take it home and an employee told us they would RESELLITTOTHENEXTBRIDE! If you decide to order on demand, you pay a mandatory 20% gratuity — if they have it in stock. Every appointment we made was with a different employee, even with our attempts to meet with Melissa the owner. There was little interest in getting things right and some of the things agreed upon before our wedding were not met on the day. —For example a bar was supposed to be set up on the patio for cocktail hour and the hall closed by our bella sala assigned wedding manager until the dinner hour. Not only did they not close the reception hall, they did not set up the bar. The result was confused guests wondering though our picture taking to get drinks and sitting down for the reception before the outdoor ceremony. They will not offer a cash bar in your reception hall, only open/hosted bar. No guarantee you can use the site for a rehearsal — They might rent it out the day before at the last minute. —Unique to my situation, Bella Sala did not have a ready room when we booked. I asked to use the decorations demo room and the owner told me no, I would have to use the public bathroom. The next appointment, to talk about renting decorations, I peeked and saw a bride getting ready in there! I mentioned this and asked if I could use the room and the owner said there was a rental fee of $ 50. I told her I wanted it. 2 months before the ceremony I asked to get a list of extra costs and was told she didn’t have me down for it and it was rented for DECORATIONS so I couldn’t have it. She could rent me the other hall for $ 250. I told her no and I made other arrangements offsite. About a month before the wedding she told me that they now had a ready room because of popular demand. She could rent it to me for $ 75. Guess where it was located? The decorations room!!! If we had had our event hosted at a hotel, the hall, plus most of the fees listed below would be included for free as long we paid for food. At Bella Sala you pay the same expensive catering and also have to pay $ 3000 for the room, plus all the additional fees. Also, at the hotel you could get a sit-down dinner. Many of the REQUIRED caterers on the list from Bella Sala don’t have dishes and will only do buffet style on disposable plates. For such a «beautiful hall» and a significant amount of money spent this is unacceptable. —Extra Charges(after paying $ 2900 for the hall) — a. $ 500 mandatory«service fee» b. $ 500 Outdoor ceremony fee — not refunded if it rains c. $ 140 mandatory cleaning fee(after you pick up after yourself) d. $ 100 storage fee if you aren’t cleared out by 1:00(all decorations) e. $ 75 Bridal Ready room f. $ 75 bartender fee g. 20% mandatory gratuity for any liquor ordered the day of the wedding(after a HUGE markup) h. $ 30/hr mandatory security guard i. $ 1.50 per outdoor chair after 50 — not refunded if it rains(and they won’t let you use them in the rain, even if you already paid!) j. Variable — rented decorations(that they pressure you to use rather than your own decorations, because you are responsible for all your own decorations by 1:00)
